I only just got MA coverage a couple months ago. Since then I have been using sesame to get appointments for prescription refills because I have social anxiety and need the meds to be able to work and drive. I'd just pay for it all out of pocket. Not being used to suddenly having health coverage, I dragged my feet finding a health provider, and realized I needed a new script at the last minute. I paid for the sesame appointment because I knew I had to get this done now. I would get really sick and have terrible episodes of anxiety if i didn't. I was willing to pay out of pocket for the prescription itself. But the pharmacist didn't allow me to say ANY of this. The second I asked if I could just a have a moment to explain what's going on, she SCOFFED. She didn't even suggest that I could pay out of pocket if I wanted to. She just wanted me to get a new doctor and a new appointment, which would have taken days. I didn't even get to explain that I didn't have days. I have no more pills. The anxiety I will have to face without them will make it 100x harder to even get me out of the house. When she scoffed and made it clear that she wasn't going to help in the slightest, I asked to take this to a different pharmacy. But she can't send it in herself (which I know is crap, I've had pharamacy's send a script before). I had to call a different one, have them request it, then they would send it. Becuase they have already been SO cooperative, I am sure they are gonna get to that request as soon as costco makes it. Anyway, at the end of the day, these people don't want to talk to you. They don't want to help you. If the AI answering machine can't fix it for you, they don't care.

Let me add to this that I have extremely difficult hair to cut and style. Not just "anyone" can do it. So I'm left high and dry for my Birthday. Now I have a June 1st appt scheduled and I find out today, May 26, that another vacation has taken priority over my appt and again they cannot fit me in before he leaves. When someone charges $108 for a haircut you expect some professionalism and customer service. Could the stylist call and try to fit me in? Nope. Makes the receptionist do his dirty work. Maybe he should just retire and vacation all he wants rather than make appts he doesn't keep. He never used to do until this last year.
