This is a rather busy place with having to add a former Rite Aid's customers. The staff are very hepful!

Terrible Walgreens pharmacy--with abusive customer treatment and illegal discriminatory practices--that should be shut down for the safety of patrons! The registered West Milford-based pharmacist Nikolina Paskoski, who now also serves as Walgreens district manager, did an illegal, unauthorized prescription filling against the patient's clear instructions, fraudulently billing the insurance company until the illicit action could be reversed! This, after this same pharmacist refused to allow the medication prescription that was supposed to be filled to be ordered through Walgreens usual distributor system, because she wanted to first get rid of older, soiled product from other stores!! On top of all this, Paskoski discriminated against the patient on the basis of their age, disabilities and the severe, potentially fatal medical condition requiring the daily specialized medication, and had the audacity to block other pharmacists from filling the desperately-needed prescription with fresh product! So much for Walgreens' promise to serve the health and well-being of customers! Without question, this employee should be fired immediately, and not allowed to hold a NJ pharmacist license, so as to protect customers at this and other stores in the chain. read more

Items are easy to find, staff is very accommodating and I find that most of the items I need are much more cost effective than the local grocery store. read more

Walgreens West Milford has gone downhill over the past year or two. I've been on the same medication for the past 20 years and every time a refill is due it is always a problem which creates delays. Most recently, this pharmacy filled my prescription incorrectly and handed me the WRONG medication. On top of it all, there is always a long wait or they are closed early. I am taking my business to West Milford pharmacy. I am so tired of problem after problem. This is all corporate greed from these large companies. Time to support small businesses. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I had pneumonia and needed my medication to help me breathe and waited a week for a much needed prescription. Every time I called all they would say is we're working on it. I finally got fed up and transferred the prescription across the street to the West Milford Pharmacy and had is the same day. Never again. The people at Walgreens were rude and absolutely not helpful at all. The people at West Milford Pharmacy were extremely helpful and very kind. Horribly run pharmacy, with terrible treatment of customers, particularly customers with special needs! The technicians specialize in rudeness and disrespect, and will readily insult you when you ask to speak with the pharmacist. It seems as though the substandard customer treatment and argumentative technicians issue has been experienced by numerous customers, begging the question of why Walgreens won't do anything about it? At this point, I'm concerned about the safety of prescriptions being dispensed at this store, since the technicians literally undermine the pharmacist! read more

One of the worst businesses I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I've been going here for a number of years and they have never been anything but rude, incompetent, and usually both. The straw that finally broke the camel's back was their outright lying to me. They claimed that they had tried multiple times to reach my doctor about an essential prescription and that he had never gotten back to them. But I then found out that he had responded a week ago and they just never filled it (and lied to me). Once this was cleared up, they told me it'd be ready the next day, but when the next day rolled around, they told that they hadn't filled it because insurance didn't cover it. Insurance never covers it (a fact I mentioned several times the previous day), so they figured that I didn't need it. Go to the pharmacy across the street. The most incompetent PHARMACY department my family has ever encountered. Showed up 45 minutes early for an appointment and wasn't seen until 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The Pharmacy manager, Elsa, is nasty and has no work ethic. How she lasted this long is a mystery to me. read more

The pharmacy department is the WORST! If you need a prescription that is not a common generic, chances are the don't have it. I have had problems with them not having certain dosages of my thyroid medications in stock and they did not stock my asthma medication. So there was a delay in filling the prescriptions. I asked for my prescriptions to be shipped via an option on their website. Somehow they were unable to do this even though they are a FedEx drop off site and shipping was offered from their website. If you can go elsewhere, it is probably a good idea. As you can see from the one star reviews, I am not the only one who has had problems. read more

Not sure what the comments are all about ?! I have been quarantined in West Milford and have had nothing but pleasant interactions with all members of this Walgreens. All personal working is taking a risk and I feel like they deserve a 5 star review. read more

Since they changed pharmacists and tech staff it has been horrible. Mistakes and incompetence. They are clueless and very slow. They don't pay attention or check patient profile fully. They need to hire more competent and knowledgeable staff read more

I've always used Walgreens pharmacies but since moving to West Milford I'm going to have to start using West Milford pharmacy across the street. It's been over 24 hours since my prescription was called in and the pharmacy tech and pharmacist aren't even answering the phones. I had to go in person to be told that there are hundreds of people waiting ahead of me. if you're getting hundreds of prescriptions called in per day you need to hire extra help. But I seriously doubt that's what's happening in this small town. These irresponsible healthcare providers are leaving unending numbers of people without medication because of their mismanagement. read more

The drive thru at West Milford Walgreens is horrible, the blond girl that works there thinks she is someone more then she is, she doesn't even look or at least acknowledge when you are waiting there, and does not follow up when prescriptions are ready for pick up read more

This is review is for their pharmacy. I always seem to wait when theres no customers. I can see three employees chit chatting behind the pharmacy, I'm stuck waiting for them to fill antibiotics for my son. They also told i had to wait before them telling me their selection of flavors for the kids antibiotics until they had the bottle ready. Like isn't bad enough that I have to wait while they finish chit-chatting but then they want to call me over so they can ask me the flavor again wait for them to finish chit-chatting again give me a break never going back read more

I have been using this Walgreens for a long time, the current pharmacist, Elsa, and MOST of the staff are just nasty humans. They NEVER smile at you, they ignore you and refuse to acknowledge you when it is obvious they see you there. When you call they answer and say they'll be right with you (with an attitude in their voice like they're annoyed by the call) and put you on hold, then after a couple minutes of hold music it rings again and they answer and say the same thing and put you back on hold, they don't give you a chance to respond or even say thank you. This repeats 3-4 times before they actually help you. They NEVER talk to you or attempt to connect with customers, whether you are there or on the phone, they treat you like a number and push you along. They talk down to you as if you're stupid and have a smug attitude about it, meanwhile they are almost always the ones making the mistake. It would be one thing if this happened once, but as someone who picks up three perscriptions a month, it happens EVERY TIME. I am a branch manager for a retail bank and I use examples from what happens to me here and how I am treated as scenarios of customer perception with my team for what NOT to do. I am so disappointed that I have to change pharmacies, I really didn't want to because I like that there are Walgreens everywhere, but that convenience is not worth the horrible service. read more

This is a terrible store. Every single prescription for the last 4 months has had an issue. The rude pharmacists never seem to be able to help. Plus when you talk to 3 people you get three separate answers, none of which are helpful. Absolute worst! read more

Everyone here does such a good job and are hero's in the field of customer service. Especially in the pharmacy. They're very knowledgeable, empathetic, and oriented to meeting customer needs. I don't know about the other review made, but everyone has to wait for their turn because they're are probably more factors that add to the fact they had to wait- but most people have no patience or try and understand the circumstances. Ultimately the service here is great, employees are awesome, and will always make Walgreens my first choice. read more
