Walgreens - No longer 24 hours - Drugstores Near Me - Waukesha, Wisconsin

I am a Cancer patient I am in treatment and I have really painful mouth sores caused by treatment. I was prescribed something called magic mouthwash, it is a Lidocaine Compound (mixture). Walgreens filled prescription last month just fine, I have 3 refills on the prescription. I called at 2pm for a refill. They told me I could pick it up at 6pm. When I got there the nothing was there for me not even note for the prescription not even a note about my call. While there they tried to run the refill and I was told insurance denied it, so frustrated I went home. I called my insurance and was told that when they tried to run it Walgreens didn't tell them what it was; not magic mouthwash, not Lidocaine compound, just an empty request for meds with Walgreens prescription number. Insurance not knowing what this was denied it. Insurance said to have them rerun it with the Prescription # that Walgreens filed last month and to put Lidocaine Compound in the box. Do ok I thought it is all fixed and I could get my meds. Now Walgreens will not answer the phone for my number. Mind you I am weak and irritable and trying to get some much needed medication. I know what you may think, I never raised my voice, cussed, didn't become argumentative or belligerent. Nope I didn't do anything other than to try and sort this crap out by going there or calling several times. They created this situation and messed everything up. I am so done with them I would give a negative score if I could. read more

Waited in the pharmacy line forever and then once the person who was holding up the line finally finished, the person behind them got serviced before I did even though I was there before them. Not only that, but I was told that my prescription was supposed to be done in 2 hours. Went in 3 hours instead to give them more time and then they said another hour and a half. It's ridiculous to wait this long in line when medication is vital to customers. read more

Horrible pharmacy pick up times. In line outside for over 1/2 hour. They need to hire more people !!

One of the problems is they use the antiquated prescription retrieval of a plastic bin jammed with order after order. It is time inefficient and often the latest orders are not even in the bin. They are also prone to sending a text saying it is ready when it is not. Also they often have half order fills which means another trip to the bin situation. read more

Absolutely terrible....corporate should get involved with this store. We have visited this Walgreens for over 20 years and haven't had issues. This past week was the worst experience, prescription was sent in at 10am, we called all day to see if it was ready. Sitting on hold with the horrible automated system, by 7:30pm the prescription was STILL not ready and they told me it was just sent in, earlier in the day they told us it was "processing." An hour later we sat on hold for about 30 minutes, then we were told they weren't sure if it was even in stock. Such a waste of time...I will not get a prescription from this pharmacy again. read more

Excellent Pharmacy Staff! I think I have spoken with everyone of them in the past couple of weeks. All except one guy have gone above and beyond to help me. They're friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! The cashier at the front of the store is very sweet. This is a place I like to come back to. read more

First I call, and they say they have my prescription ready. Then I come in and nobody can find it. Called back and I was told that they have my prescription, so I go down there again. Then, they tell me that they don't have my insurance on file, so I go home to talk to my insurance and call the pharmacy to give them the information they told me I needed. They couldn't process my information over the phone, so they asked me to come in again. When I come in for the third time, they try to send me away again because they didn't have my correct address on file. I had to speak to the store manager, who was able to update my address while I was there, and then I was finally able to get my prescriptions. The store manager was really nice and helpful, and I don't know why the pharmacy staff felt the need to run me in circles. read more

I avoid this pharmacy whenever I can but occasionally need to use it since it's 24 hours. The service here is horrible, my doctor had to call in a prescription 3 times before they attempted to fill it. It was then "out of stock" and told me to wait until Monday. I needed the medicine pretty urgently and they were unwilling to help. Just avoid this place, always a mess and horrible service. read more

Very inefficient and a total lack of customer service going through the drive through. Stopped to pick up a prescription after checking to see if it was ready. Was told in the drive through it was not and to come back in 15 minutes. Waited an hour and a half and was told again it was not ready and was being worked on. You are not acknowledged when you drive up. Pretty much just ignored until it's your turn. Forget about apologizes for waiting or things not being ready. Very disappointed. read more

The drive-thru attendant was a miserable girl, who was rude to both me and my partner. Condescending to say the least. I've been using Walgreens as my families main pharmacy my whole life and have never had a bad experience... until today. Will not be returning to this location and I hope the management takes note of how one rude employee can ruin the customer experience at a store forever. read more

Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. Customer service is horrible there's no consistency among staff. Sometimes I have your medication sometimes they don't. There's really only one good pharmacist there. Only good thing about it is it's open 24 hours. Technicians are horrible. No customer service skills, rude. Frustrating. The drive thru takes so long even though the Rx is already filled and my information hasn't changed. It takes so long!!

Front desk staff has been great for quick purchases. That is why I give any stars. The rest of the store at your own risk: Pharmacy is hit or miss. Often times a miss. For a 1hour photo gift order. On day 2, after 1 stop in and several phone calls, I was told to try again in the morning. Still not confident it will be taken care of, and it's time sensitive. The staff at this pharmacy need a lot of work on their people skills. Every time I pick up my prescriptions I am served by unfriendly and frazzled employees. ALL of the staff always seems stressed and overworked and they don't hide their frustrations with the customers. They act as if each customer is an annoyance that is inconveniencing them. They complain about the customers in the drive through right in front of the in-store customers.Their phone customer service skills are lousy also. When I called to inquire about a prescription today the girl cut me off by saying "what's your name?" in a very rude manner. Another time I called to order my prescription on their automated service but didn't get to finish the call because my cell dropped the call. When I called to see if the order went through the automated service switched me over to a live person who didn't bother saying hello or offering any other greeting. Rather, in a frustrated and blunt tone he came on the line and said, "you already ordered that prescription" Very strange way to greet a customer on the phone. They also have a hard time keeping my medicine in stock so there have been many times where I have had to come back the next day to pick up the rest of my prescription. read more
