Work at a business in the area that called in a prescription for a patient due to our doctor who normally sends them electronically being out of office. The Pharmacist called and was extremely rude didn't give me any information on the patient and when I stated that the doctor was out for the day, she was extremely rude and hung up. When I called back shortly after as I was able to get the information from someone else, she was even more rude. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Great walgreens! Close to everything! Excellent customer service in beauty. Of course there is a line at pharmacy because they are only pharmacy in that area and super busy. I don't understand reviews that complain about drive up line. I go at times they are not busy either early or later. When you go from noon to six they are busy. read more

Waiting time at the drive-thru is horrendous. Only one lane is ever open, when there's capacity for 2. Must not have enough employees. I switched pharmacies because of this, but my daughter still has an account here so I had to pick something up for her. read more

I am a frequent customer at this Walgreens location and spend a fair amount of money, especially in the beauty section. The customer service there is just awful. I have had two experiences with the same female cashier there- she was "annoyed" that I was trying to redeem my points and was arguing with me that they were not available. She finally called a manager over, and I showed the app with my balance. Well with the manager there suddenly she got it to work. She was very short with me and was making a scene in front of me and other customers. I was simply trying to understand why the points I had rightfully earned could not be redeemed and instead of politely explaining, I was given a rude attitude. I've had two similar experiences with her. When the transaction was done she waved me away. No apology, no thank you, no parting greeting- just waved me away. I am not sure how this employee still has a job as she does not have any customer service skills whatsoever. I did not leave a happy customer and will not shop the store again when she is working. This negative experience could have turned out much differently as I was polite and patient the entire time. The manager also plays a part in this experience as she did not greet me, only took care of what needed to be done and walked away. That manager sets the stage for the employees. Very, very disappointed with how I was treated. Walgreens- the first face you see when you walk into your stores are the cashiers- this store needs some extra attention on training their employees. read more

Ever since I got to Iowa, my nose has been running like an artesian well. The pharmacist was most helpful in recommending a product that would give me relief without interacting with my meds. I used my iPhone and the Walgreens app to find the store, and used Yelp to let everyone know that I'm happy with this particular store. read more

Would give half star or less if I could. Waited inline 40 minutes to pick up prescriptions sent over from dr Ofice when I made it to the counter told it would be another hour! Understaffed my A. Maybe the employees need to get the led out of there A. Pure BS Walgreens close down this store! read more

This is my favorite pharmacy in the area bc the hours are GREAT!!! the staff is friendly, and I love the walgreens app for my iPhone, unfortunately I'm giving them a 3 star rating bc the wait in the drive through can take up to 30 min or more most days! They are also impossible to get a hold of on the phone if you can find your refill #... I one time called and selected the pharmacy option and sat on hold for 10 minutes. I took my sisters phone(while still on hold) and called the main number and asked them to page the pharmacy and they picked up instantly?!?!? If you can answer the phone and Talk then why have I been on hold so long?!? I've also set up a pick up time when I was sicker than a dog... My poor sweet husband drove all the way over there at my set time, and they told him it still wasn't ready and that he'd have to come back in an hour... Needless to say I had a very upset hubby come home! read more

The store is great, but I use the pharmacy so that is the reason for the low star rating. SLOW Pharmacy. Drive thru is even worse. Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for your 2 minute interaction. Walgreens should throw a pill in for free to help everyone deal with the road rage they will have after using the drive thru! read more

Just don't. This is the busiest pharmacy in the area, which makes it the slowest and prone to major mistakes. They also have some pretty incompetent people employed there. In summary, I dropped off a prescription slip for my sick child, the gal at the window said my insurance wouldn't allow me to purchase the med more than so many times in 6 months, it had been 1 1/2 years since we had purchased it last, so she said she would work it out and call when it was ready. We went home, had lunch, and I was about to put my son down for nap when she called to say it was ready for pick up and the insurance glitch was worked out. Since we desperately needed it, I put my very ill child in the car and drove him to the pharmacy. The pharmacist said that they couldn't accept the prescription because my insurance would only cover it at a different pharmacy. I asked why the girl told me to pick up my order because it was ready and the pharmacist acted like she thought I was lying. I was livid. She was absolutely rude. I spent the next few hours going to a different pharmacy, waiting for the prescription with my completely inconsolable child, and traveling home. Never again. read more

Always busy but shelves are stocked and staff is friendly. There is usually a line at checkout as it is always busy. Great deals to be had with the weekly sales, coupons, Register Rewards, and Balance Rewards. read more
