This review is for the store, I do not use the pharmacy. The store is usually well stocked and clean which I really appreciate and most certainly is not the case with Walgreens in aportland. so it's always a surprise and a pleasant experience. The store has all the normal departments. My only suggestion would be to have all of the healthcare / home pharmacy related items within aisles and not wrapped around the back parameter of the store. So strange! And makes it difficult to find over the counter items. When I'm traveling through the Gorge and need to pick up items, this is where I stop. They are next to a Safeway and Thai Carnation so I can do a pickup at each place. read more

The pharmacy is never open. They never refill my prescriptions on time (auto-refill even), and the hours are never truly adhered to. Also, this pharmacy sent me home with non-compounded meds for my daughter twice. Meaning they never even mixed it. I had to go back to get the medication mixed. Kinda nuts. Waited 1/2 hour for my scheduled flu shot. I checked in when I arrived before my appointment time, it was accepted. 4 people who came in after me were seen before me. All had appointment times after mine. Was told they checked in before me. The tech was surprised that I expected to get the shot at the appointed time. Expected people with appointment times after mine to wait. The items I was going to buy stayed on the shelf. read more

This place is so consistently incompetent, and have held my medication hostage multiple times (you get the kind of staffing you pay for), for so long I've ended up in the urgent care before. I've filed a report with the Oregon Board of Pharmacies and if you're reading this and need that info their quick email is: pharmacy.compliance@bop.oregon.gov This place is a joke of a store with expired food products, but borderline negligent with its false guise as a pharmacy. It's unfortunate as there is 1 person who works in the pharmacy who's amazing while the rest are an embarrassing testament to this country's healthcare. Had I known I could file a report I would have done so when they made $500 mistake by not running my insurance and then denied refunding me when my insurance caught THEIR mistake weeks later. read more

This Walgreens needs to permanently close the photo dept! I ordered two 4 X 6 prints for an important meeting the night before. Received an e-mail saying they were done, went to pick-up on the way to the meeting...they told me they weren't ready and that the photo machine was broke. LIARS they are too lazy to do photos in this store, as I had another Walgreens tell me the machine is not broken, the employees are! They did the same thing to me on passport photos! Always understaffed, 30-40 minute drive-through lines because they randomly close the in store walk up counter and the staff is incredibly rude. They could care less, they act bothered and move at a snails pace. Prescriptions are never ready when promised and their automated refill system is a joke. Sit in line for 40 minutes just to be told to come back in an hour and do it all over again. Never again. read more

I have never had a problem with this place until today. And now I'm being strung along to the point where I have to go somewhere else. There's only one person in that Walgreens that has ever really been helpful to me and very nice, but I will not name names. My household has a lot going through the Walgreens pharmacy. Tuesday I get my medication partially filled, for five days. I was told that the rest of my medication would be there by that fifth day. I call on the fifth day and they say no we will not have it until Monday. I called today which is Monday and now they say it will not be there today and they have no idea when it's going to be there. so I have to cancel my prescription with them to go somewhere that does have it. And because of this issue I will not be returning to Walgreens for my medication in the future. This is also not a medication that I can just stop taking cold turkey. Fred Meyer does a way better job and they don't lie about what they have or can get and when they can get it. read more

Walgreens doesn't care about the health of our environment. Refused to accept old prescriptions, substantial portion purchased from them, for disposal. The druggist mumbled some incoherent location words, without making effort to write down an address where to take it. Told them I'm handicapped, hard for me to get around made no difference, didn't care. It's absolutely inexcusable for any any giant national store drug store not to have proper prescription disposal for customers. This giant national chain brand will never receive my business again. I'm cutting up my Walgreen card for proper disposal! read more

I hate that my insurance forces me to use Walgreens, and that this is the most convenient location. This Walgreens is HORRIBLE. One of the pharmacists is fine, but the other seems miserable and it shows. Many times the pharmacy opens late or closes early, OR the pharmacy just doesn't have a pharmacist at random times in the day leaving the pharmacy unable to fill prescriptions. It's a total shot in the dark showing up here, not knowing if you can get what you need. Feels like almost half the time I leave empty handed and have to come back later. I've also had to explain to them (after giving them my prescription info and detailed instructions) how to submit a claim. One medication took 3 visits and 2 phone calls to the pharmacy. I'd switch to another Walgreens in the area, but they all seem to have equally bad reviews. read more

I checked the store Website and it said the pharmacy was open from 11am-3pm. I arrived a 1pm, but they were closed. I asked an employee and she wasn't sure if they were open but said she thought they went to lunch a 1pm. I returned at 2pm and they were still closed. I ask another employee who I believe was the manager and he said they were not open on Sundays. I told him the website said it is supposed to be open. He just said "not this store", as if I couldn't read a web page correctly. I told him it did and left. He barely looked up from his phone the whole time and his tone was incredibly rude, as if he couldn't be bothered with me. He obviously didn't care about the website being incorrect or if he pissed off a customer. Needless to say I will be looking for new Pharmacy. This one employee just cost you $350.70 a month or $4208.40 a year between what my insurance and I pay for my prescriptions . Not to mention any non Pharmacy purchases I might make. He's not a person I would want running my store. I also filled out there customer service form and it would not submit it, it would go to the top of the page. read more

This is one of the better Walgreens in the area, in my opinion. It doesn't always have the "latest" items like the 24 hour one on Burnside, but I would rather use this store than that one. I think I'm in this store at least once a week for one thing or another. It is usually clean and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. I love the pharmacist - I think her name is My-Trinh, she is always friendly and smiling and always willing to answer a question. I'm taking off one star only because it doesn't have a 24 hour pharmacy :(. read more

Although there are a couple awesome and attentive staff, I was mortified when I learned that that they now require the medical reason for prescriptions( No other pharmacies require this as it does not respect patient rights or privacy). The purpose of this, I was told, was so the pharmacist can verify that the doctor was correct in their diagnosis. Are you kidding me??? The pharmacy at this location is a disaster. My first experience with them when we moved to the neighborhood was when my husband had a prescription called in. We received a call saying it was ready, but giving the address of the wrong store. I told them about it (because I drove to that store that is farther from my house, assuming my husband made the error) and we still get that mistaken message more than a year later. I am sitting at the pharmacy now during their "open" hours and the place is shuttered. Same thing yesterday ten minutes after it was supposed to open. All they could tell me was the pharmacist was running late and they had no idea when she might arrive. If I can ever pick up my prescription I will never use them again. read more
