Straight from the "why bother" corner of the economy comes this Walgreens. Nothing is where it should be and what is there falls very nearly under the "quantities are limited" umbrella. One positive is that it seems to be in a part of town where "pharmacists" are available on every street corner... no waiting... and no prescription needed. One star. read more

Sadly, this Walgreens is generally a disorganized mess, and staffing issues are making things even worse. Waits at the pharmacy are extremely long, and while most of the staff are extremely friendly (with the notable exception of the older gentleman with the Newports hanging out of his lab coat pocket who gets WAY too familiar with some of the customers), they are clearly in over their heads. I wish Walgreens would funnel some of the personnel and resources from this location over to the Robbinsville store a few miles down the road, which has a much nicer shopping experience but far worse hours. As a result, this location is my "only when I have to" store, which due to the Robbinsville location's reduction in hours for both the store and pharmacy occurs more often than I'd like. read more

I'll start by saying my family has been patients at this pharmacy for about 4 years now when Andre was manager and care was phenomenal. Now that Charles is the manager the quality of care and even the simple task of filling prescriptions has plummeted. We've had multiple issues with him and this is now the last straw as we transfer 15+ prescriptions to another pharmacy. My first issue with him occurred several months ago when my 2 year old son needed eye drops, when I called to see if it was ready for pickup he explained he didn't have it in stock. The medication was interchangeable so I asked for it to be substituted, he said I needed to contact the doctor to send another prescription. I contacted my doctor and they said my pharmacy would need to call so instead of playing phone tag I decided to call a nearby Walgreens to fill the medication for us. When I got there, they told me the original medication was not in stock and they went ahead and substituted the medication - aka fulfilling my original request to Charles. The second and most recent issue that occurred on Tuesday 5/16/2024 at 5:37pm was when I called to request a vacation override for my father's medication. My father is 75 years old with a history of 3 heart attacks and a stroke. Charles told me the mediation was too soon to refill and my father would need to call his insurance to obtain the override. I explained to Charles that we've never had to do that in the past because it's a simple task the pharmacist has always handled. He began to get very aggressive with me over the phone and said he would not be able to fill the medication otherwise. I explained to Charles that I was a pharmacist by background as well and am very aware of the processes. These requests I have for him such as substituting a medication or overriding a vacation supply are very simple tasks. I hate offering my background but sometimes it's required when someone is trying to take advantage of you which is exactly what Charles was doing. I have two kids and a full time job, my father is elderly and English is his second language yet he kept pushing us to contact the insurance because he simply doesn't want to do his job and doesn't care whether or not my father gets his medication. This is a task that would take us double the amount of time to complete. I explained that I called him a week in advance out of courtesy so as to not stress the pharmacy out with filling several medications urgently but my ask was that he do what he can to do the right thing and take care of my family and his patients. He told me if I do such things in my pharmacy, he doesn't do that in his and then he hung up on me. In short, Charles doesn't have the clinical acumen to substitute medications when needed and won't take the time to obtain a simple code for a vacation supply of life saving medications. These requests are not going above and beyond they are simply part of his job description. I left the time stamp on here because I called corporate to inform them of these instances but unfortunately not only has there been no resolution but there hasn't even been a call back although their policy is to call the customer back within 48 hours. They also have an automated machine that informs customers they are being recorded for quality assurance. I would urge them to listen to Charles's calls more frequently. I've considered having our medication filled at the Walgreens up the block but after calling corporate and not even receiving a courtesy call back I'm not sure that I can trust how the district manager Jeff Arpino manages his stores and employees so instead I will be filing a complaint with the New Jersey state board of pharmacy regarding this pharmacist and pharmacy for negligence and misconduct, I'll be speaking to our lawyer in reference to this and will be taking our prescriptions far FAR away from this man and pharmacy. At this point, I cannot trust my family's care in this mans hands and hope this review helps others find the best care for their families as well. read more

They lost my photo order. Ok, things happen, but they acted like it was no big deal and never even apologized. They just kept saying "resend it, resend it" but it took me over an hour to create the photo book so I'd have to start over from scratch. I've never used this Walgreens for photos before and I'll definitely never use them again for anything. Horrible customer service. read more

I shop at this location often. From prescriptions, to photos, to toiletries. The staff is helpful and kind. The store is clean and organized. The wait time is usually fairly decent. There's plenty of parking and they have a redbox outside. It's always a good experience at this location. read more

It is oftentimes very difficult to deal with prescriptions being under review. I am a patient with various mental and physical disabilities. Apparently the pharmacist has reached out to my doctor about me being on Tramadol and clozapem which are for my 2 herniated discs and extreme anxiety, depression, and bpd. I asked why my prescriptions that I have been on for years, are being reviewed. The woman I the pharmacy said they were controlled substances. Then the pharmacist said he will let it go this time, but I shouldn't be in these 2 together. Obviously he has no idea of my various ailments. Unbeknownst to them, I had just found out a callous on my foot had become infected and I needed to go to the hospital for possible surgery. I needed my pain pills and my anti-anxiety pills. I do not abuse them. Both the pharmacist and especially the tech made me feel like trash. They talked loud enough for me to get stares from the people around me. I had a meltdown after that because I was made to feel like I was a substance abuser. I felt less than dirt. This is the reason I left my former location. I work in healthcare and I know about dealing with medical issues discreetly and with care. These 2, the pharmacist and tech, came off as snotty and judgmental. Apparently my Doctor didn't answer the phone for this pharmacist's input about how I can't be on these meds together. He just made that judgement call. Not even knowing that I function fine on both of these. I say shame on you to these 2 for making me feel like absolute trash and to have a meltdown because of my anxiety and the trash these 2 made me feel like. If you work in the healthcare industry, you have to have a soul and empathy for the people you are serving. These 2 looked down on me. The tech had a horrible, snarky attitude and made me feel less than dirt. I probably have more healthcare experience than her, but yet she destroyed my sense of dignity. Next month I will be moving all of my prescriptions to a locally owned and operated pharmacy, where I get treated with dignity and not like trash. This is the Walgreen's on Paxson and Route 33 in Hamilton NJ. Don't waste your time with these judgemental people who want to play God and want to insert their noses into my business. Especially the tech. She had no right to treat me so heartlessly. I hope someday you are made to feel the way you made me feel. It took me everything not to start screaming at this rude young woman. I can't use the words I want to because that wouldn't be appropriate. Even though she has no respect and treated me inappropriately. I am done with Walgreen's after that. I would love to tell them what they can do with their opinions of me, but that wouldn't be appropriate. Even though I was treated so inappropriately. Went in Walgreens then went out to car and car wouldn't start was in parking lot for 30 min and they called the cops saying I was suspicious sitting in the parking lot. Smh another reason why minimum wage shouldn't be raised if some 8$ hour prick has nothing better to do then call the cops rather then check if I need any help read more

Bad customer service will cause me to switch buying habits immediately. Consumers, there are a million choices out there; don't put up with shoddy service. I switched to this location, which is out of my way, because the location at Route 33 and Paxson was less than satisfactory. I had no problems with this location, until I went in at 5 p.m. Dec. 8 to drop off two prescriptions. Now, as everyone knows, these stores stay in business because as you drop off and pick up your meds, you fill your cart. That's what you do. well, I will not be going back as the head of the pharmacy department herself told me I would have to come back to drop off my scripts because I was "too early." i told her that myself when I gave them to her, because I knew I was 2 days early on them. This had never been an issue before; they just filled them when the insurance company gave them the go ahead. Apparently they don't do that anymore. You have to come ONLY on the exact day. As she put it "They don't hold them anymore." And I don't shop there anymore -- at any Walgreens. That's how it works, read more
