This Ulta was a lot cleaner than the ones closer to my home. I encountered the same issue I always do though, not enough staff on the sales floor and the people who are there aren't as knowledgeable as people who work at makeup counters in department stores or at Sephora. There was also a lot of missing or non-existent testers. I wanted to feel and smell a few new products and there were no testers to be found... not a good thing especially with new products because people might just take it upon themselves to open it. I didn't open anything, but I also didn't buy those products and I might have had I had the chance to try them. Like most Ulta stores this one is in a shopping plaza with a lot of stores and food options nearby. The location is well maintained and gives the impression of being a safe area. 3.5/5 read more

I don't like this ulta particularly because there was a man in a suit in glasses that works there who tends to follow me around the store when I've been about 4 times and have either just made a return or bought something and have given no reason to be followed. But for some reason that is something he does and then pretends like he's not so I said something my last visit and will not be coming to this one or you may be followed around. read more

It's rare to find a good colorist AND stylist; usually you get one or the other but never both. You never know what you're going to get when you call or show up and get matched with someone but I'm so glad I took the chance. Kyle is seriously the most talented master at hair. He gave me an incredible balayage and cut that my coworkers still compliment me on weeks later. I have tons of grey and he treated my hair with a special process that wasn't damaging and looks natural. I am now a faithful client. The store and salon are brand new and very pristine. (I had been to the Princeton location before coming to Hamilton and it just felt so dated and crowded; terrible WIFI signal as well). The Hamilton location is smaller but way modern and the staff seems much happier and more helpful at every customer touchpoint. I definitely recommend Kyle and this salon. read more

This new beautiful store SUX!!!! They never honor coupons! The 21 Days of Beauty event which clearly states available INSTORE AND ONLINE, this store does not honor instore! Also I attempted to use their salon services for false lash application and the young lady tried 4x to apply, destroyed my expensive lashes, the supervisor did NOTHING to reimburse me for my lashes and I left upset. Again this store is pretty but THATS IT! No one helps or cares! read more

I went to Ulta Hamilton Marketplace and will not go again! Staff is standing around chatting by makeup, but won't help cashier at front. 9 people in line, waited 20 minutes to pay for items. Prices are absent on many items & shelves. Sign advertised Buy 1 get one 50% off, but was charged full price for botb items. No one to help check prices or find additional items. Would not recommend. I was super excited that this Ulta opened up close to where I live now. It's in the absolute perfect location! Hamilton Marketplace does get crowded and busy. The parking lot by Ulta was no joke. Parking was scarce on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Luckily I parked in the Ruby Tuesday parking lot and just walkes over. It was less crowded by there. The store is big, bright, and clean. The staff seem like they were willing to help. I saw a lot of people getting make overs and I always wanted to do that. The have a salon, which I've heard great things about Ulta salons. The line to pay was very crowded and it took a while to pay even though there were about 4 or 5 associates working the register. Overall I'm really excited to come here more often for my makeup, body care, and hair needs. read more

I absolutely love The Salon at Ulta Beauty in Hamilton. The staff of stylist are super friendly and extremely helpful. They work well helping each other out. Their stations and wash bar are very clean and I absolutely adore that they use microfiber towels!!! Totally a curly haired girl's best friend!! Ashley is an incredible stylist, she really knows her stuff!!! She kills the vivid hair game plus one heck of a barber!! Whether is a quick haircut, a blowout, or a total beauty overhaul the Salon at Ulta Beauty is where to go!! You can even get a quick facial while your getting your hair done. Do not waste time making an eyebrow appointment there. I made an appointment on my day off of work before my husband had to go into work since I have small children at home. Your appointments mean nothing and if someone walks in right before your scheduled appointment they take that person and your out of luck. I thought the point of making an appointment was to been seen the time of your appointment.
