A great store settled in a ripped up abandoned looking lot, but oh well. I was able to buy many tools and products I need, plus any color I needed in weaves. I have over the past year spent good money there, however, it was only my last most recent visit, a very professional woman with a kind of Jamaican accent gave me good service...gave me a frequent buye card and a free sample of sulfate free shampoo. Before that I was not greeted nor given any kind of recognition like that as a frequent professional customer. Didn't even get a bye or thank you...in fact, the other girls wouldn't even verbally tell me the total price, and was just I guess expecting me to just look at the register screen in front of me. So I liked her a lot. I am a white girl, and there are times I go in there and feel I am being snickered at, getting looks like, wtf is she doing here, but I dont pay attention to that. As far as the other user's review about the return policy...it is actually state LAW that hair pieces, wigs, extensions and weaving hair can NOT be refunded or returned....so the fact that they at least offer store credit is WAY beyond what any other hair store will offer you.

I've gone to this beautician for years and have NEVER had any issues. I've use Merinda as my personal stylist and every time I've gotten my hair done, I get sooooo many compliments! People literally would stop me in the grocery store to ask me where I've gotten my hair done. I've referred a few people to this Salon and one woman I still keep in touch with told me she was glad that I referred her because she Loves how the stylist does her hair. I'm so satisfied with the gorgeous results I receive on a consistent basis. I won't let any one else touch my hair.

Despite having an appointment that we made she had other clients coming in and out and barely touched my daughter's hair. Thankfully another hairstylist kindly braided my child's hair. Otherwise who knows how long we would have been there. The ends of the braids I was not happy with since they were uneven and scraggly but we had to rush out since we were an hour late to a bday party. The next day I tried to fix it as best as I can. This is not the first time she had an attitude with us for no reason so we definitely will not be coming back.
