They have 3 different types of cones, serve in a cup, and also sell in pints or quarts. They have 18 flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt. My hubby enjoyed his scoops of Black Cherry and Mocha Almond Fudge in a cake cup. I loved my scoops of Butter Pecan and Chocolate Brownie. The Butter Pecan had an outstanding flavor. They have a fully painted parking lot, which is something I've never seen, bars preventing large vehicles from entering, and the architecture of the building itself is out there. I have only been almost squished about 3 times in the last 10 years. Not bad for Reno. CONVENIENCE: They are no longer open 24 Hours. The Pharmacy window is only open 9:00am to 8pm with a half hour closure for lunch. The rest of the store still cares a huge collection of stuff. Items that apparently are "shoplifting magnets" ie most beauty products are now in locked shelves. ATMOSPHERE There seem to be fewer "dodgy" patrons than in the past. Shelves are better displayed and don't seem as cramed. It is clean and well lit. SERVICE: Still pretty slow, and staff has been drastically reduced. I have had no problems with either the pharmacy or the front checkout, it just takes a while. On the plus side, staff are friendly and professional. My insurance no longer covers prescriptions from Walgreens. I just learned that Walgreens is not affiliated with the large third-party Pharmacy Benefit Manager. So the convenience and location have been major factors in me continuing to shop here.

Both of the pharmacists have gone above and beyond for me as a patient. I am on a prescription that requires constant attention and interaction with my pharmacist. I have found that I am considered a nuisance, and I am judged by other pharmacies. They have fought with me (against medi-cal) every step of the way, and I will literally follow them wherever they go (if they leave cvs ...please don't!) I have seen David pay for a patients medication out of his own pocket, while the patient was screaming at him. I was in the neighborhood so dropped by to see if they'd received it (more efficient than working my way through the automated phone prompts). I was polite and measured as I gave the clerk my info. Go over there. Next customer!" (One, maybe two, customers were in line behind me.) I had to ask several times for her to clarify what she meant (Was I done? Should I come back later?). She was just so rude and off-putting but eventually she did tell me that there was someone else who would help me. Such an easy thing to say off the bat! Will not use this pharmacy again. Also: dang, I wish I had read the reviews before having my Rx sent here! Lesson learned.

The covid swab that is purchased at the Susanville CA Walgreens is coated with Ethylene-Oxide. let it be known that Walgreens purchases a swab that is coated with a know. Cancer causing insecticide, fumigant and lastly a sterilizer. Because it sterilizes everything to death...which is got to be why they use it because this is either gross negligence or intentional poisoning and because this has been happening so long it can't be negligence anymore. I was shocked when I showed the pharmacist, she told me well You're doing it to yourself...that's NOT HEALTHCARE. Screw big pharma. You'll never get my trust, and this will be generational.
