This is my go-to pharmacy. The location is easy to access and is always kept clean. Staff have always been pleasant to me in person or in the drive through (for picking up prescriptions and in 2020/2021 for covid testing). The drive-through is hit or miss in terms of timing though. I've come when there's no one or even two other cars and it is a very quick trip but then I've come when there's two cars or more and it takes an insane amount of time and I usually end up just going inside. read more

Signed up for a rapid Covid test, and this was the location that had an appointment for today. A very nice, clean and open location. Arrived at 11 in the drive thru and no one in front of us. The employee was friendly and nice enough to also take the hubby's appointment for 11:45 at the same time as mine. Unfortunately, it wasn't the short swabs, but easy enough to do yourself. No insurance needed as the county takes care of it. Results are emailed within two to three hours. read more

Came in last night to get my prescription and turns out they close at 6:00? Absolutely ridiculous compared to other places, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to anyone, please go elsewhere to save yourself the headache, I was told to come back at 10 am when they open the next day...so I waited 16 hours to get my prescription that I NEED, came it at 10 they said "sorry pharmacy opens at 2" employees don't even know the right information to tell their customers just sad... so let me get this straight they're open from 2-6 a 4 hour window...got me driving back and forth because they can't adhere to company and industry standards, this place is a JOKE, please people just use the CVS Walmart or even Costco down the street don't waste your time here read more

I'm giving this store 5 stars because of 2 great employees, Buddy and Candace. Buddy is always friendly and helpful while Candace is always fast, efficient and always assumes the customer's needs. They're both great assets to the company. read more

The service at the Walgreens downtown has declined since they stopped their 24 hour service. They seem to be understaffed and less helpful with the hour changes 0800-2200. Long wait times on hold (especially Mondays), calls dropped or transferred in error, and unwilling to transfer prescriptions (Walmart at Vista Knolls, called for me to transfer my prescriptions to them). Lots of new rules and adjustments on getting prescriptions and deliveries. Call ahead if you have special needs. read more

It is difficult for me to rate because it can be a hit or miss. There are time some of the people in pharmacy can be nice and professional and then you get the one with the attitude. The pharmacist are always helpful. The cashiers are always polite and if you needed help finding something, the help will take you right to the product. read more

There is an issue with the store pharmacy. I have twice used the phone system to place a prescription refill. When I get to the store, there is no record of my order. No one cares to fix this. The pharmacy also has a really nasty clerk. She is so rude and today essentially called me a liar for saying I had an appointment for a COVID shot. I no longer will be dealing with this store for my medical needs. I realize we are all under a strain but the we don't care attitude needs to go. read more

I used to really enjoy this location. But the past few months every single time we come in here they ask for ID for adult items. My husband and I have been coming here for two years at least three times a week. They know our faces and even the female that works here has our birthdays memorized. Today I showed up totally forgetting my husband had my ID and they literally refused to sell even though they know we are there and fork over our ID every single time. I understand the "policy" is to prevent selling to minors. I am clearly not a minor, I am in there all the time - and honestly, if people are going to buy items for minors it doesn't matter if that adult had an ID or not. This is getting more and more infuriating and quiet frankly, today (with JC) was the straw that broke the camels back with Walgreens. The way he spoke to me was unacceptable. No more at this location. PS.....we never have this issue at any other Walgreens in Reno/Sparks or ANY other city we go to. *** AWESOME info!!!!! I called my husband from the parking lot and told him what happened. I then called Walgreens to ask JC what his district managers name was and had a chat with him from my car. My husband was on his way home passing the Walgreens and went inside to purchase the items I was denied. While he was in line he heard JC arguing with someone on the phone (which was me). When JC hung up he said loudly "f-bomb hell, now I have to yell at my employees" in front of everyone in line and started to talk about ME to the customers not knowing my husband was one of the customers. This place is great! Everyone is always so friendly, helpful, kind. It's amazing. I've probably been to Walgreens all over the country and none stands out in my mind as much as this one. The person at the register always greets me with a smile, photoservice is great and the pharmacy is great too! The store is always clean and organized What inspired me to write today was the man at the pharmacy saw me waiting and line and said it would just be one moment and asked if I was picking up. He didn't need to do that but he did and it was appreciated When I got to the front they had my medicine all ready for me! Also a couple months back my fiancé hurt his shoulder and we called if they had any kind of sling. It was late at night and the man kindly spent a good couple minutes looking for something. By the time we arrived he had two options ready for us to check out at the register! read more

Agree with previous rating. Pharmacy is hit and miss. Our doctor ordered an antibiotic at 10:00 a It's now 5:00 p The doctor has submitted twice and called once (they hung up on his assistant) . say they can't find it. So either a system that has issues or flaming incompetence and poor customer service. Perhaps reflects the reality of the end of customer service. Now rudeness and marginality are accepted practices at Walgreens. Oh what I'd give for a local pharmacist that is driven by professionalism and knowing their customer rather than corporate greed and the meat processing experience. read more

I really do like this location. I only started stopping in here on my way home from work 3 months ago. Everyone is very friendly and super helpful. I come in for basic needs before coming home because I don't want to stop at Walmart. I use my rewards card, and as little as I purchase , I have $5 rewards. Also, on their app they have a free ship to store option and sometimes things are even cheaper on their app. I used their pharmacy for my flu shot. The pharmacist was very nice and humorous even. The ladies at the desk gave my niece a lollipop because she was upset my sister went to get her shot. A very good location read more

This is my main Walgreens even though there is actually another one closer to my home. I love shopping here for our health items and a variety of other goods from time to time. This is also where I get my local prescriptions filled. I love that they have an efficient drive through pharmacy as well. The workers in the pharmacy as well as those out front are always genuinely friendly and good at their jobs. They always greet you as you go in and some have remembered my name. They also have a rewards type of program that I recommend. You can swipe a card or just enter your phone number (like I do) and it gives you money off on some of your current purchases as well as adds up points to earn rewards. I like the fact that I don't even have to keep an eye on my account, because if you have a reward it will pop up while you are checking out. I have received several $5's off and I think once one for $10. You cannot beat that for just shopping for what you need. read more

Went in today and got excellent customer service, by everyone we talked to! Barbara is friendly, funny and very helpful. I was struggling at the print kiosk and she came over and helped. We had to ask another employee (dont know her name, but shes awesome) and she helped me save my iphone pics to the camera roll( i was struggling like an hour before to figure it out, lol). We went on to print and Rosa had them ready much faster than anticipated. Overall experience today-5 stars. I really value exceptional customer...and thats what we got! Nice, friendly and fast... what I expect but rarely places actually deliver, soooo we were very impressed! read more

The pharmacy has always been friendly and helpful. There is a few times we have had issues with scripts being sent from the Doctors office but they have always helped us figure out the problem. This location is not 24yrs which is bummer since its the closet to my house. Thats the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. read more

My wife and I had scheduled appointments to receive COVID booster shots on Saturday June 18 at 2:15pm. We showed up on time after taking an $11 Uber to the store. When we got there a very rude pharmacy clerk told us they were no longer doing those shots even though Walgreen's sent me a reminder confirmation email on Friday. So I reasonably requested a refund for my roundtrip Uber costs. Clerk said he couldn't do that. I then called Walgreen's corporate office, spoke with someone who told me the store manager would call me on Monday. I just now got off the phone with that store manager who told me they were still giving the booster shots but were not giving them last Friday or Saturday for some lame reason. I asked for a refund of my $22 Uber costs. She said no, they wouldn't refund my costs to get to the appointment. She was as rude as a person can be. Do not shop at Walgreen's at 3000 Vista until they replace "Shelley," the rude manager! read more

I was here yesterday and the manager saw I was looking in the "as seen on TV" section. He came out from behind the counter and took me personally to all the "as seen on TV" displays in the store. I told him I was looking for a Chia Pet. Don't ask. He was extremely helpful and told me when they usually come in. He did not have to go out of his way but he did. I have been to some Walgreens where I ask the manager a question and they look at me like an speaking and alien language. This Walgreens is awesome. Very impressed. read more

The two stars are for the SUPER friendly staff members who work in the retail portion of the store. They're great. The pharmacy support staff, however, are incredibly rude. Today, a woman named Candace helped my Mom and me. Her words were so clipped I couldn't understand what she was saying. She was impatient and unkind. She even rolled her eyes at us! We go there out of convenience but I'd rather a little more work and patronize somewhere that's friendly. read more

AMAZING PHARMACY!! Pharmacist Alex and pharmacy tech Travis two of the most helpful intelligent and dedicated people I have ever come across in any pharmacy. It's beautiful to see people being not only professional but extremely kind as well. They're always helpful to myself but it amazed me how I see them treat other customers also and consistency is key. I will definitely only come to this pharmacy as long as I'm in the area. Great Pharmacy! If you have a problem let me tell you, they go above and beyond to help. The lady I worked with was so amazing.

I will say, the employees in the front are amazing and very friendly. The reason I am giving it such a low rank is because of one of the main pharmacists that I interact with at least once every two weeks. He is very rude, not just to me, but to many other people I've seen him interact with. I had just gone to the urgent care and they had sent over my Rx about 30 minutes before I decided to walk back to the pharmacy and see if it been received and hopefully filled. This was a Tuesday around 2:00PM so I didn't think it would be too hectic. I walked back there to see and all I can remember is that he has glasses, and is bald. As I walked up, he said it would be a minute because he is busy. I wasn't sure what he was doing, but he was clicking around on his computer. It took him about 3 minutes and then he came up and just stared at me, so I said I had just been to urgent care and was hoping they may have received my prescription and he, of course with an attitude said that they never said it when they say they will so he probably won't get it until the end of the day. (I sat in the doctors office and watched my doctor put in the Rx and send it to their pharmacy, but I just went with it and said oh okay, well can I come back in a couple hours and get it or have someone else get it for me? He said he would call me when it's done. He was very cold and not friendly at all and I was dealing with being extremely sick so this whole situation was not making things better. I was getting 2 antibiotics for H. Pylori and was in a lot of pain and he had to be extremely rude and snide about this. I then left, of course not getting his name, and then some other gentleman called me about 30 minutes later to let me know my Rx was ready to be picked up.
