Very grateful to the pharmacy staff. They have always been polite and patient with us…read more I was particularly impressed this most recent time. My father was in the hospital due to a major and serious first time seizure. He was in for 7 days until they could find the right meds. They sent him home but the seizure meds were very difficult to come by. The distributor for cvs was out of this particular med. They were on backorder. There was nothing else anyone at CVS could do. The pharmacist K, Edmo even tried to call the neurologist for an alternative to make sure my dad would have this crucial medication or something similar. The doctors never called back. Amber gave me great advice about which other pharmacies may have a different distributor. This did the trick and I was able to find another pharmacy that had the needed med. I still couldn't get a hold of his neurologist and had to have the script called in by another one of my fathers doctors. Thank you everyone at cvs!!

I'd call it functional yet dreary. This was the pharmacy "assigned" to my mother after the nearby…read moreRite Aid closed, so she wanted to make sure they had all her medical and prescription information - which they did. The pharmacy seemed to be the most staffed part of the store, there were more behind the counter than any place else in the store. That's partly because of all the unmanned self-checkout kiosks in the front, somewhat crowded with a lot of other displays, service counters, and devices, many of which had "out of order" signs on them. The dark colored carpet and the dim lights add to the dreariness.

You really should avoid this branch. Just had a frankly weird customer service experience just…read moretrying to buy some candy. The candy was discounted, 3 boxes for $5. When it was rang up, one of the candies wasn't getting included in the 3 for $5 discount, although the sign on the shelf clearly states it should be included. Instead of like saying "hold on, let's take a look", the cashier pulls out a phone, angrily sighs and curses that she has to log into the device, scans the problem-rang up candy with her phone, and, again, states "that one is ringing up $2.09. The box is bigger so therefore it is scanning right." uh, no. the price of the shelf disagrees. She then says to the next customer that she "tries not to let negativity in the world affect her". I don't what school of customer service this person flunked out of, but she definitely does not belong in this job. Walgreens, this branch just lost a long time customer: I am moving my prescriptions elsewhere. Hello CVS!

Blame the Dr who sent the script, blame the insurance company, "oh, we never received it, must be a computer problem". "Can't fill it until tomorrow, Wallgreen's policy" the very next day they hand you a bottle with 180 pills in it. "We can only fill 30 days of a 90 day script, you need to come back two more times", well... NYS law proved them wrong, again! I used this pharmacy for 7 years, had to finally say "NO MORE" Refusal to fill as legally prescribed, continued delays in filling critical medication, inventory problems, significant staff turnover, training problems for front line staff, the manager of the store didn't know the pharmacist was an actual doctor. Wow... I have had to correct the pharmacist several times, had the insurance company tell them they are wrong, all of this while standing in the store waiting for them to do their jobs. Go to WalMart, they help fix issues, they remembered me after one visit and they corrected two insurance issues. So... leave these so called healthcare providers aside and go someplace else!!!

As I'm waiting for my medication the cvs employee coughed and didn't cover his mouth. He was not wearing PPE and gave me the medication as if this pandemic is a joke. I was extremely upset and told him he can be A symptomatic and could easily pass this on to me or anyone else. He started to laugh and joked that nothing will happen. I'm scared and paranoid at this moment. I should not have to deal with such carelessness from a Pharmacey employee. Usually people go there to pick medication because they're not feeling well. This man didn't care to keep customers safe. He clearly should not be working the window at CVS. This pharmacy should train employees to take precautions seriously to keep themselves and customers safe.
