I ordered a poster for a family member's birthday party. I received a text simply saying my order was delayed. I tried calling, no answer, so later that evening I went to the store to see if there was anything I needed to do such as move the project to a different store to get it printed. The workers did not have any sense of urgency or intentionality with customer service, they either did not know or did not care. I waited over an hour to sort this matter out. One item I ordered was printed the other item was canceled and I had to reorder from another location. I understand things happen, but a little communication and courtesy would have changed the nature of this entire interaction. Hopefully this was an off day. read more

This is the worst walgreens in my experience. Unfortunately it's near where I stay so it's the most convenient theoretically, however they have yet to answer their phone. Always long lines in the store. The pharmacy is lazy and hardly ever open, the employees are not happy to be there at all not happy to help, making the experience awful and almost unbearable. If my insurance covered me to go anywhere other than Walgreens I would, but now I make it a point to go to any location BUT THIS ONE. I also don't see this changing, they don't seem to care at. all. Good drug store with ample parking. There is always merchandise on the shelves and the clerks are friendly. There was a longer wait than we would have liked at the pharmacy, but it was only about 10 minutes, so manageable. I always enjoy exploring the shelves for interesting items, especially in the center aisle of seasonal goods. read more

It is very difficult to get a prescription filled quickly and/or accurately at this location. It's impossible to get photos. Over the last 2 weeks, I have gone to pick up photos 3 different times. Each time, the system that the employees reference indicate that the photos are ready for pick-up yet on each occasion, the employee was unable to locate my photos. On one of the visits, the employee actually told me I had to come back "later" because the register line was too long and she didn't have time to locate my photos. Obviously as a photo customer, I was not a priority. read more

Do NOT use this pharmacy. Quit Walgreens altogether. They provide zero customer support. If they happen to have a pharmacist on staff that will actually have an open pharmacy during published business hours they don't seems to have support of their parent corporation. The onsite medications available are NOT aligned with the repeated robocalls telling you your meds are available. When asking for help to resolve the issue they tell you to contact Corporate and notify the Board of Pharmacy. Bottom line Walgreens is failing as a business. Start switching your pharmacy supplier immediately to avoid their relentless unresolved ability to service their pharmacy customers. I've always had really good experiences at this Walgreens. I mainly come here for photo services since I use CvS for prescriptions. Ordering photos online is super easy and user friendly. This review is specifically focusing on my Christmas cards in December. It took me about 3 minutes to upload my picture of choice, send it in, and get the confirmation email. They have a bunch of templates you can use that make it super quick. Plus, majority of the time they have codes you can use for massive discounts. I used my coupon and got 40% off on my order which saved me a good chunk of change. Theyre super apparent on the website so keep your eyes peeled. It was definitely holiday card season! When I went, there were tons of orders ready and it was pretty busy. I got mine (later in the evening from the morning I ordered them) and was in and out. Close this Walgreens Pharmacy. It is terrible! The service and attitude of the staff is reprehensible. The wait time on the phone and in the drive thru is completely unacceptable. The staff is rude and/or appear to be overwhelmed. How are they getting away with treating customers this way? Why isn't anyone fixing this? It has increasing gotten worse for over a year. Recently the Walgreens text service was sending me daily updates that the pharmacy was temporarily closed, then back open, then closed... I was told by a staff member that this is probably because they often don't have a pharmacist on staff, and can't operate without one. The pharmacy does not answer there phones. I ended up having to come in because I just tested positive for Covid and need my medicine. I continued to stay on the phone on the way there and when I got to the counter (still waiting for someone to pick up the phone) the pharmacist said we are trying but there's literally no one on the phones. Went in here last week, bought things with my medical insurance debit card, over $85. Cashier tells me " Need another cent to complete the sale ". Told her I didn't have a penny. She replies " Well I need a penny to complete the sale ". She forced me to put 1 cent on my credit card to allow me to leave with my purchase. If I could give less than one star I would. TUAN Nguyen in the pharmacy needs to be retrained because he is one of the rudest and most insensitive pharmacy techs I've ever met. After speaking with someone yesterday to have my prescription transferred to this location and said it would be ready it wasn't there. Now I'm going the entire weekend without my medication and Tuan offered NOTHING but a suck it up attitude to me. He said "my hands are tied, idk what u want ME to do" when I asked what I'm supposed to do as my drs office is closed on the weekend. He told me "idk go to urgent care" and walked off. As I stood there in disbelief because I'm going to experience side effects from not taking it for several days and am tearing up at this point I asked "I don't understand why I'm not getting any sort of understanding or apology for the miscommunication" and he said "I don't have anything to apologize for, so..". I asked "even as a representative of Walgreens? You can't try to be understanding and say I'm sorry this happened". He looked me deadpan and goes "Nope." No wonder this Walgreens has such a low rating. I don't care if you don't like people or had a bad day. If you applied to work in customer service then do it right. It's a Walgreens. It's a chain. It's in my hood. Being in my hood, is reason enough to bump them up a star. Actually, the extra star is my Christmas gift to them. Because, their great sales made my budget for "Secret Santa" at work go further. I wasn't even looking here and found a perfect gift as I entered and it was 50% off. More gifts, the merrier the recipient. I am also a fan of their photo lab. It is so easy to submit pictures via the Walgreens app. Once my photos are ready to pick-up, they'll text me. Then all I have to do is jump in the car and drive up Hampton a couple of blocks. It usually takes less then two hours and the quality is good. I don't use the pharmacy, but this is my go-to for over the counter drugs. The prices are good and I've never seen them out of stock for any of the products I use. It is a busy Walgreen's as everyone has stated. So have patience when it is time to check-out. Management is quick to open additional registers when a line starts to form. Last time I picked up a prescription I was in line at drive thru pharmacy for over an hour. Today called to check status of an Rx. The pharmacist that answered was very rude. I told him I was instructed to call on Saturday, he said I told you that I remember you. I said I did not speak with you. He said yes you did. I said sir I spoke with a man who had an accent. He said oh okay I guess you didn't. Then continued to be rude after arguing with me even though I was correct and we had not spoken. I understand everywhere is short staffed but it doesn't mean you have to be rude. I'll be switching pharmacies, not worth the hassle or battle with rude employees. read more

I am so pleased with the service provided by Erin in the Pharmacy at Walgreen's on Hampton and Chippewa in St. Louis. Walgreen's was having trouble getting a prescription filled for me. She tried her best to get it for me and could not, but called me back a couple of days later to make sure I was able to get it somewhere else and offered an alternative if I was not able to. I've been in the pharmacy line for THIRTY MINUTES NOW. Why is there such a wait? Unacceptable

To whom it may concern: I scheduled a covid and flu test yesterday for this morning at 10:30 a.m.; I used the online portal. Unfortunately when I arrived today the testing machine was broken. Per the conversation between employees, this was the circumstance for some time (probably when I scheduled the day before). There were no signs posted about the inability to test nor were there email communications. At the time of this email I was still able to schedule an appointment for covid testing online. The impact of this wasted time is that I was unable to schedule a test for today due to appointments being full elsewhere. Had I received a notification by email that the testing machine was broken I may have been able to schedule a test elsewhere before other sites were full (or perhaps not scheduled with this location at the start). This is not my first unsatisfactory experience with this location. I have moved most of my business away from it despite it being the most convenient pharmacy to my home. It's possible that Walgreens corporate needs to better support the local site with communication to customers and patients in such circumstances. I am only sharing this information for the purposes of process improvement. Waited 45 minutes on hold to be hung up on, and then put back in an hour+ queue. Prescriptions can also take nearly a week to fill.

I mean this is the busiest Walgreens I've been to in the city. I live literally next door so I always go there for convenience but it's kind of a mess and 90% of the time it takes a VERY long time to get anything accomplished. There are always HUGE lines at the pharmacy drive thru with like 2 people working, always only 2 people. The lines inside are usually just as Long and it takes a small village to get a second cashier to come up. They're always nice but it will take you a long time to get what you need. read more

This is one of my go-to Walgreens. I guess the only thing that makes this store different then the others in my area is the lack of a security partition. This is one of the best Walgreens I have been to in St. Louis. The store hours are great and the parking lot is as good as can be considering the busy intersection. The staff has always been friendly. There is a woman in the cosmetic department who is so helpful I almost though she was being sarcastic. She keeps a huge envelope full of coupons for customers. Probably saved me enough to buy a car on razors? The photo area is on the ball and always quick with the results. My only problem is the high volume of people really bogs down the pharmacy. The staff back there are always level headed and professional. However, this is where the pharmacy proves to be a real victim of their own success. It's just hard to wait in line for so long after work. Good place to go, they have never let me down. read more

Had an exceptional experience today at this Walgreens. I came in to pick up some hair care products when one of the associates, Tracy, offered to check me out at the beauty counter. Tracy informed me of a beauty rewards program that's offered by Walgreens and hooked me up with a bunch of discounts and free samples. She's awesome! This Walgreens location is horrible. I waited in line for over ten minutes to drop off prescriptions. When the tech finally got to me, he started playing with his computer and then walked away. He came back and walked away again. The tech next to him ignored me when I tried to talk to her and instead started helping another customer. As I was still waiting, I realized the problem was The Tim the tech forgot to charge the prior customer for what he had purchased so he was frantically trying find the man's phone number to call him and ask him to come back to pay. Tech 2, Melisa, finished with customer she took before me and asked if I needed something. I handed her the prescriptions and she flipped through them and asked "You're not going to wait for these, are you?" When I told her I was she rolled her eyes and snorted, "It'll be 30-40 minutes. My favorite thing about this Walgreens is this one particular cashier. I'm starting to think that they only let her work the register when it's not busy because she talks so long to every customer (those who let her). She's really nice but super scatter-brained. I've only gone to this Walgreens a few times. The employees seemed fine, however the Pharmacists were nasty, mean, inconsiderate and NOT VERY HELPFUL! I HAD to go there a couple of times, NO option, NEVER AGAIN. There is NO reason to speak to a customer in such a degrading way. I don't know what was going on during those months, but NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN will I go to that pharmacy. I will change from Walgreens to CVS, Walmart, Schnucks, anywhere, there are so many that I do not need to stay with this pharmacy and no need to put up with someone's need to be disrespectful to a PAYING CUSTOMER. What these people in NEED OF POWER do not realize is that I, THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS PAYING THEIR WAGES. And if enough of me say something, that pharmacist will no longer have a paycheck. So, please be nice and have some respect for people who are paying your wages. Stop being a jerk and get off your high horse.
