My best friend and I wanted to have longer hair styles for Prom and this is the first place on our list of beauty supply stores to look for hair. We walked in and I've never seen her so excited about hair (need I include, she's more knowledgeable regarding beauty supply than I am) so I felt like I had a reason to be happy to be there. There was so much variety for very affordable prices, and this is coming from a high school graduate who works a part-time, minimum wage job. I wanted to find a longer weave with my natural curl pattern, 3C/4A, and surely I did. I found what I came for but I was so fond of what the store had to offer than I spent about an hour just wandering the store with all it's makeup and hair. It was great. However I stumbled upon this one, it's not as big as Roslindale but it's pretty huge. I bought some hair and ended up not needing it, so I returned it and they returned it with no issues. They didn't even ask why I was being returned, I also didn't open the package or do anything to it. The store is neatly kept, and the employees are nice. They have all your hair needs.

Okay so this just happened and I'm pissed the hell off…read more I just went shopping here and I've never had a bad experience with these people until just now. Within my purchase I got a bottle of hair glue. I went home and began to use the glue. I immediately noticed the paper on the inside had been ripped off and the glue was super chunky and thick. "Not a problem" I'm thinking to myself.. I'll just go back to exchange it. So I go back and briefly explain what happened. There was a heavy set, young, Asian girl behind the counter. With an attitude she opens up another glue and says, "They all look like that". I took a look and sure enough that one was thick too. So against my better judgment I take it and leave the store. I go back home now and proceed to use the new glue. I twist open the top and begin to squeeze some out but next thing I know it squirts everywhere! The consistency was like water! It got all over my hand and on my shirt. So now I'm annoyed... I'm actually pissed at this point. So again, I go back and this girl is looking at me as if I'm lying. I tell her there is something wrong with their glue it's coming out like water. She says she doesn't understand what I mean. So I tell her to squeeze some out and when she does it gets all over her arms. She goes , "Oh". No apology, no nothing. She cleans up herself and tries to give me another one. I take it and analyze it. It's old. There was a dark film settled at the bottom. And once again it's thick and dull. I then had to teach her clueless a$$ that regular glue has a different consistency and it should not just squirt out like liquid. She goes, "so what do you want to do?". Really??? The only reason that I am not giving five stars is that it took a while for them to get started and let me in when I arrived at 9:00 p.m. on Friday night. They ask for an ID before letting you in. However, once they started, three people worked on my hair. It took about four hours, which is less time than my regular braider. I did not experience any disputes regarding the price, which included the hair. They take cash or credit. The next time that I need an emergency, after hours appointment, I will use them.
