Staff that answers the phone would be nice. Two 10 minutes on hold to be told repeatedly there was 1 caller ahead of me.

When I got in to pick up my wife's medication (XARELTO) was NOT available at this time. The young man at the counter talked to the pharmacist and came back to inform me that the store in Port Huron had it. The pharmacist called ahead and told them I was on my way and gave me the address and phone number. Thank you again! read more

This store is the worst! Never any employees there except a cashier. I was trying to find something and was ignored by the pharmacy staff, so I went to the front cashier and she didn't know where the item was that I was looking for, even though the app said they had it. I asked for someone on the floor to help, she laughed and said it was just her and her manager. She called the manager, who came out from the back room with a man. (If there were only two employees there why was there a man in the back room with her? Shady!) She took me to the item, I then completed my shopping and went to the register. The manager was now ringing at the cash register. I noticed that it rang at a different price than was advertised in the app. She told me I would have to do a curbside pickup to get that price! Are you kidding me?!? I left everything I was buying on the counter and left the store! Why would a store want their employees shopping for us when they never have any staff? That was what put Joann's out of business! It's not like I was asking to match a competitor's price, it was their own! Such poor customer service! read more

Due to pharmacies closing and the options that accept my insurance, I thought Walgreens was my only option. Their staff is friendly enough, but this store always seems to be understaffed. Their corporate policies and pharmacy operations are focused on making every last cent, at the expense of the customer's experience. They never have prescriptions in stock - it takes 1-2 days to get them from their distribution hub. When they do finally fill your prescription, it will likely be a partial fill. All of this means a 90 day supply requires I make a minimum of 4 trips to Walgreens. I found I can get the sane prescription at another pharmacy, and even though they don't accept my insurance, it will cost me 1/2 as much and only take 1 trip. read more

This store I've had many's of problems with almost all of the pharmacists but Elma(I hope I spelled that right) goes far and beyond out of her way to make sure my prescription is right and taken care of and to me as soon as possible. The is worker needs a raise as well as some respect from her uppers in the company as she has made my life so easy getting my diabetes supplies right, and on time, and she stays in a good mood through the whole process. It's like a rule here that you can only have bad experiences at the pharmacy. Ive never met anyone who uses them that genuinely thinks they are helpful in any way. Many, many times I've been screwed over at this location concerning my life saving medication. It's like the prescriptions they fill are nothing but a task to do. Typically with "customer service" (not that being a pharmacist really is customer service) I'd understand just doing something mundane and moving on... but as someone who is in possession of peoples very important medication... it's a joke. Recently I arrived at this location before work with one of my (daily use/much needed) prescriptions ready for pick up and another "being filled", so said the app. I had ordered both medications four days prior to arrival so I figured it would be a quick stop. Boy was I wrong. At the window the pharmacist said they needed about 30 minutes to complete the second one and that they would send me a text when it's ready and to come back then. Okay. I guess for the next 30 minutes I have nothing to do. I waited around and did my best to work from my car. 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour passed and I had received no text, no call, no app update. I checked the app just to be sure and the prescription is updated, to say they are out of stock. I drove back to the window, now talking to a new pharmacist, and asked her what was going on. I understand sometimes they are out of things but why not send me a text/call (like they said they would) and let me know?? The new pharmacist had no idea why I would be told they needed to fill it if they could very easily see that it was not available. She gave me the one prescription they did have then I asked her to call another location and see if it's there - since at this point I desperately needed it. She did and I did my best not to get frustrated with her since it was not her fault what so ever. The other location was in stock so I was able to get it but I did waste an hour of my time waiting around for something they could have very easily said wasn't available. Aside from this, I've dealt with pharmacist at this location getting verbally aggressive at the window, not knowing whats going on in their own store and simply being negligent (which is an insane word to use for someone in charge of MEDICINE). It's sad because this location use to be really good - something in management or ownership must have changed for it to go downhill so quickly. The only reason I put up with them still is because all the other pharmacies near by are equally as bad. There's no winning when it comes to a decent pharmacy that actually cares about the job they are doing and the customers they are doing it for in the area. read more

That was my second visit to the pharmacy, the first time I went my order wasn't ready and I was told I had to wait because they didn't get their shipment in. They said it would be ready the next day by 3 PM. So at I called the next day at 3:10 PM to ask if my prescription would be ready and they said yes they just got it in. I said "can I leave now? I'll be there in 10 minutes, will it be ready? ". He said yes. I immediately left to go. There was a line when I got there so I waited probably 15 minutes. I got to the window and she took my name and date of birth and she said that they just got the shipment in and I'd have to wait she'd call me. I said no I just called and they said be ready in 10 minutes. When I got there, I was told I would have to wait an hour or come back. The staff at the pharmacy doesn't wanna listen to you. She just wants to talk over you when you're trying to explain something. She wouldn't listen and cut me off every time I wanted to speak. The manager had to step in and get an order ready because the unhelpful staff woman just wanted to get me out of the way. And then she gave me dirty looks the rest of the time I was there. I'm definitely going to another pharmacy. I will not use that one again. read more

Difficult to navigate the parking lot, always crowded, hard to shop because it's poorly merchandised. The staff are friendly, but it is always slow at the pharmacy desk. There are better pharmacy options nearby, certainly ones that are more convenient. read more

I went in a bought a Covid 19 kit from Abbott. When I got home there was no instructions in English so I used the barcode and followed instructions. However they were very confusing and I called Abbott and I could not understand what they were saying (not English) so I went back to get another kit or instructions in English. The manager said I would have to buy another kit and wouldn't give me the instructions from another kit. They wanted me to pay another $25 to get the results!!!! I went to another store and got the instruction and I did have Covid but they had me running around sick. Terrible customer relations !! Will never go back THEY JUST DON'T CARE read more

It's amazing how such a simple thing can turn you off to a place. I moved near Walgreens three years ago and it has been my go to for prescriptions milk, ice cream whatever. Last week I picked up some dental floss picks and instead of getting the regular brand, I got Walgreens. It took me seven of them to floss my teeth because they broke so easily- so today I went to exchange them for the namebrand ones and I didn't have a receipt and they wouldn't give me my $2.80 or what it was whatever it is credit to buy the namebrand. Such a simple thing, but I guess you never really know about a company until you have a problem- then you find out how they are and Walgreen is pretty stinky about any kind of problems with their merchandise. So I am going to move all my prescriptions from this place and it's no longer going to be my quick stop. I would not recommend them because they have a horrible exchange-return policy. Even with our own products! With clearly the name, Walgreen written all over it. Five thumbs down. read more

This is THE WORST pharmacy!! Do not place your prescriptions in the care of these people. They do NOT care about their patients. I have trouble with every single prescription I order!! I have been with Walgreens for about 20 years. I lived in Clinton Township and had the best pharmacist and aid. They were always nice and even ordered things in anticipation of our needs. Walgreens closed that pharmacy. I have not been able to find a good Walgreens since. This one in particular does not call my u doctor when my refills run out. If they did, there would be no problem with reorders. Then, when I call the doctor, the pharmacy says it's not in stock. EVERY SINGLE TIME and with multiple medications. These are not unique medications because I know at least 3 other people who are on this same medication for asthma. Plus, the people are not nice and their hours are horrible. I get they need to care for the staff. However, without customers, they wouldn't need staff. Please think a little more about your customers. I'm not saying we are always right, but you clouds be a little nicer and willing to help!!! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. read more

I really like this drugstore. It has the best specials. Almost same prices as Target. The dairy is never outdated and lots of sales for food and hygine items. The pharmacy is usually on time with scripts ; rarely out of RX products. The pharmaceutical techs are polite an organized. They call and tell you your order is ready when they have filled it. They have lots od tags saying "LAST CHANCE " ,but there is never anything on the shelves by the sign?? People must come in the night and buy all of the products. O well still my go to pharmacy. read more

The lack of consideration, and disrespect that I have experienced really shocked me today. I come into this store often and continually have a problem with one specific cashier. Today however, was inexcusable and should have never happened. I had gotten in line and had asked for a price checks on a few clearance items. The cashier was immediately annoyed, gave me attitude and bitterly asked someone price check the items. She then asked me to step aside and, I did so willingly, to assist other customers. I went back in line after my items were priced correctly and tried on the shoes I was intending to purchase. She then said in an annoyed tone to step out of the line again and was already helping another customer. This made me frustrated because I am experienced customer service worker and knew that this action was exceedingly crass. There was NO REASON as to why she should kick me out of the line when there was two other managers/stockers on shift to help her with other customers. I went back in line a THIRD time to purchase my items and she still was very reluctant to ring me up for my final order. I was shocked at the level of disrespect and lack of consideration that this person had and still am. This mature older lady with blonde and grey hair has always been short with me and irritated at my couponing questions. However, this gives her no right to treat someone like this especially to the extent that I have experienced today. The other co workers acted like this behavior was acceptable, which really added salt to this wound. read more

Do not sign up for their online site. It nags you with ads. When you try to unsubscribe from the site it won't accept the unsubscribe request unless you select an ad to receive regularly. They should check the definition of "unsubscribe" in the dictionary. read more

This pharmacy refuses to fill scripts if they don't like the physician for some reason. That's not RIGHT. If there is a misunderstanding, they can always call the MD office (I know they are Busy) and try to straighten it out. read more

Went to this Walgreen's this morning to get my shingles vaccination. Bev the pharmacist was wonderful. I explained my apprehension about this and she put me @ease immediately and explained everything to me. It turned out to be a very positive experience. The staff was very helpful and I would highly recommend this location. Thank you. read more
