The store itself felt calm and relaxed both times. On my first visit, the older gentleman who helped me and the woman who rang me up were fantastic -- very welcoming and genuinely helpful. It made the whole experience easy and pleasant. The second visit was a bit different. The prints were still done perfectly, but the interaction felt more guarded at first. Once the payment was completed, her demeanor noticeably lightened and felt much warmer. That said, the quality and accuracy of both large orders were excellent. If you're looking for reliable photo printing -- especially in higher quantities -- this location definitely delivers.

Normally you might stop in to pick up your prescriptions and decide to also purchase a few common grocery items and save myself some time and an additional stop. Obviously you are unlikely to find all of your grocery needs here; there's no produce department. But the convenience store aspect allows you to stretch the time before you need that grocery (or wine, or snacks, or ??) run. Because my prescription drug insurance has another pharmacy chain as their preferred provider, I only stop here when there is an advertised sale price on something I am looking for. When I do stop in I've had good service and help finding what I came in for. And they have given me rain checks when items are out of stock.

I had nothing but issues until I went to a small local pharmacy. This Walgreens was constantly out of very normal medications that no other pharmacy has ever had an issue getting in stock. They would also never tell me if something was out of stock so I could go days or weeks without being notified. Their text system never worked properly either. It would sometimes alert me that a prescription was filled. However this was normally incorrect. I would finally get notified that a prescription was ready and I would drive over half an hour and they would tell me it would still be another 45 minutes and to pull around and just sit and wait. Leaving this Walgreens was the best decision. I am so much less stressed about my meds now that I go to a local pharmacy. The local pharmacy also answers the phone when you call instead of sitting through 15 minutes of robot phone menus.

So please be forewarned that this place definitely keeps weird hours! But finally, I was walking past it one day and had to do a double take because I found it to be open and I eagerly went in! I love that this place actually does contain a pharmacy in the back of the store! It's located right on the corner of Main and Fourth, so it's truly in such prime location and essentially is the heart of downtown Rochester! Hence why it's additionally so mystifying to me that they're never open on evenings and weekends it seems or during any special events that happen frequently in the downtown area. But nonetheless, Lytle is super cute! It's filled to the brim with all kinds of unique tchotchkes and other unique offerings for all kinds of people in your life -- kids, gardeners, those who love hosting and entertaining, etc. The goodies they have aren't super high end, but what they lack in quality they make up for in uniqueness, as there are a lot of things here that I have never seen carried anywhere else. It's definitely a cute store and on the more affordable end for anyone looking to go somewhere for gifting inspiration. I just hope you can catch them while they are open!

Today upon picking up a routine medication, I was told by a female pharmacist "I could check in there," without a smile but rather a nod to a screen. There was another female pharmacy tech standing right by the screen who did not greet me. She then stood infront of me without a word and waited for me to answer a list of prompts to "check-in" I would have once considered her job- full name, date of birth, phone number, questions on whether I'd like to be vaccinated. I told her the screen was impersonal, and she quipped back with, "Well, I like it!" Then continued to tell me about how she oftentimes gets screamed at without even being greeted by the customer, which is her job, mind you. It felt highly unprofessional and a role reversal of sorts. She is getting paid to serve me as a customer who is about to pay her hundreds of dollars for a medication, not the other way around. Feedback for the pharmacy- I'm not exactly certain why I'm imputing all of the information into a system on my end now and what the tech's role is other than to hand me my prescription. There was no line, no high guest traffic, etc. For a high paying career, where is the decency of human interaction? I felt so slighted I didn't even make eye contact before grabbing my prescription from what I believe to be an overpaid hand and walking away. I would rather go to a pharmacy where someone was kind and personable to me even if it was an inconvenience in location.

This Meijer Pharmacy has a drive up window as well as the traditional counter inside the Meijer…read morestore. In the case of Antibiotics there is little or no charge. The Pharmacist and assistants have always been friendly and very helpful when I am looking for something in the store or comparing several choices. The drive up window is very convenient to drop off a prescription and get an estimate for how long it may take for them to fill the order. You can then drive off and take care of other errands and they will call you when it is ready. If you have the prescription called in by your doctor, it will likely be complete and ready for pick up by the time you arrive. The hours are fairly convenient to accommodate your busy schedule. And, of course, you can also take care of your other shopping at Meijer while you wait!

I wanted to spend my Care Pass $10 since it was the last day of the month. (Seriously, look in to enrolling in this program, it is well worth the $50 annual fee.) I bought snacks for my drive back to Maryland and with my discounts I only spent about $5.00. There were some items I couldn't find, but the store had alternate items to please me. The store was clean, and the cashier (might have been the manager), was helpful and friendly. Not sure if I will be back as my mom recently moved to Royal Oak.
