The two closest ones nearest me were this one, inside a Walgreens, and one in Farmington Hills, so since this one was only about 20-minutes away from me, I opted for it. I made an appointment for the test online, and when you arrive, there are kiosks (on the right-side of the store, once you walk in) where you check in. You will need your driver's license, as the kiosk scans it to gather your information. Someone will call your name, and then take you into the LabCorp area, which was like a mini doctor's office area and something you'd never guess was behind the doors! I didn't get the name of my technician but it only took her one poke to get my blood, which is pretty good in my book; I get bloodwork done frequently and sometimes it takes two or even three pokes. She told me 2-3 days for the results, but UNC has told me 2-4 weeks; when I asked UNC about it, they said normally the lab would give you the results in 2-3 days, but the 2-4 weeks is because they ship it to LabCorp in California and there are a few other steps that need to happen first before I can get the results. I got the test because I want to know if I have COVID-19 antibodies (I have been vaccinated, but am on immunosuppressants), but most people get it to see if they've ever been infected with COVID, I believe.

Whether it's drive through or going inside, sometimes I am able to get my prescription and get out of there, other times I'm waiting for a long time. For starters, they recently redid the place and upgraded a lot of things here. It was nice before, but even nicer now. Clean, well staffed and I rarely ever have to wait. There are a few downsides to coming here though. The gas prices tend to be slightly higher then the other gas stations around. I don't know why that is. Also, the parking here can be a bit tight, regardless if you are at a pump or in a regular parking space. On top of that, this is located at a busier intersection of Rochester Road and Tienkin, so getting in and out during rush hour is difficult. I do come here when I am over at this corner, but not usually for gas. It is convenient though and always clean and well staffed.

They own the new location at Rochester and Wattles in the old blockbuster space as well. It seems pretty standard regarding everything else except they have a turbo chef type oven like Subway uses to toast subs, so they're able to make food items on the spot such as mini corn dog bites and hash brown bites. I'm not sure if other seven Elevens carry ice but they do here inside. The co-owner let me know if there's anything they don't carry that you like to see let them know. They combined with liquor and a very clean modern look inside made it worth my time to Yelp a 7-Eleven.

It's located right on the corner of Main and Fourth, so it's truly in such prime location and essentially is the heart of downtown Rochester! Hence why it's additionally so mystifying to me that they're never open on evenings and weekends it seems or during any special events that happen frequently in the downtown area. But nonetheless, Lytle is super cute! It's filled to the brim with all kinds of unique tchotchkes and other unique offerings for all kinds of people in your life -- kids, gardeners, those who love hosting and entertaining, etc. The goodies they have aren't super high end, but what they lack in quality they make up for in uniqueness, as there are a lot of things here that I have never seen carried anywhere else. This is more than a gas station. They do have lots of pumps and there's an air/vacuum time for your car that take quarters or credit cards. You get I think 3 minutes of air or vacuum time for $0.75. I never have change so if I need this service being able to use a CC is awesome. Brightly lit at night too and they always have working/new squeegees for your windshields. This is a major plus in my world! The inside has all the liquor that exists in Michigan I swear. Lots of beer and wine too They really do have everything. There's also bagels, donuts, all kinds of different coffee's-everything. It's not like a regular quick stop-it's something else. Because my prescription drug insurance has another pharmacy chain as their preferred provider, I only stop here when there is an advertised sale price on something I am looking for. When I do stop in I've had good service and help finding what I came in for. And they have given me rain checks when items are out of stock.
