Soaps, shampoos, lotions, scrubs, and even pet products are categorized by fragrance and purpose, which is explained on the packaging. So if you have dry skin for example, you can find a product to suit your needs. Or if you just like the fragrance, you can find them that way. Store owners were friendly and helpful. You can purchase soaps "a la carte" or they are also conveniently packaged with like products for a gift. So if you are digging a particular fragrance you can get the soap, lotion, scrub, etc all together. Prices are reasonable for homemade, locally made products.

They do have some Michigan and Detroit centric items, but there's also some cool other stuff as well. Some artists rotate, so the stores motto is don't wait to purchase to long, because it might not be here tomorrow. They have a drink bar that you pay at the register for, but I couldn't tell what they served. I think it's a Keurig setup with coffee and tea, but don't quote me on that, nor did I check the prices. When I was here shopping, it was super packed, so be ready to move slowly and wait in line. I'm sure they have less busy times then a saturday afternoon. The black and white birch acrylic 3 piece of Andrea's really caught my eye. Josh told me she's a Vet. The 3 piece will go perfectly in one of our bedrooms, which already has black and white artwork theme everywhere. I also bought an iron spike art man on his multiple computer and laptop at his desk, since that's how I have felt for over a year and 3 months now during this seemingly never ending pandemic.

Products used, just wow. This is the first time I've allowed another person to take a pair of scissors to my hair in literally 20 years besides a teeny tiny trim. I used to have dark, shiny, luscious thick dark hair that I got compliments on everywhere I went. Then I went to a neighboring salon and asked for Carmel ombré highlights and it became a longish cinged orangish hot mess and all uneven. I had been considering a short cut for about a year having little kids and being busy, but I didn't trust anyone to cut it, and because my hair is very thick, it just looks weird. I could never get some Tswift or Jennifer Aniston looking piecey pretty bob. My stylist today at Stephen James Aveda changed that for me and gave me an awesome haircut!! Never have I had compliments on my hair so much short as I have long. My husband is in love with it. She knew exactly what I was asking and I knew I could trust her when she fixed my bad ombré and it looked perfect. I wanted it a lot lighter than if turned out, but it's so much better that I can't complain. I highly recommend this place. I didn't have to sit and tell my life story. I got to relax. The smell is amazing in there and its quiet and relaxing and sooo clean. The coffee was really good and everyone is so nice. They got me right in as a walk in too, no wait really. The stylist looked very young, not someone you'd picture as a seasoned experienced stylist, but wow, she proved me so wrong. Everyone was kind to my 7 month old baby who sat in his stroller the whole time. The shampoo bowl wasn't soo dang uncomfortable that I would dread it either. This is my new salon for good now. I tried to get an appointment next door at La Marquise, but I wasn't feeling the vibe there. They really weren't happy to have my business like Aveda. I'm going to try and head over there again tomorrow to get the products she used... I really had no idea how awesome Aveda was until now. First I got a call a month ago (8 months after booking and 3 months before the wedding) telling me Lena and Jacquelyn booked another wedding and can't do my hair/makeup for my own wedding September 2022 but that one of their other girls could complete the services. I was bummed but booked a new hair trial at the salon (second trial to pay for). Well I just got an email saying they can no longer accommodate my services two months before the event... I am beyond disgusted with their lack of professionalism and commitment to their customers. Now I have to find someone new when everyone is backed up with weddings. Don't waste your time, they'll just book a bigger wedding and cancel yours when it suits their needs. Response to owner: we held a small backyard ceremony amid covid (9/4/21) but our main event was rescheduled for the next year. Your own front desk called to say you and Jackie (who I had booked for both events) rebooked another party and offered me a new person. You can't justify cancelling an appointment since it was with you, and not the individual with mental health issues (who isn't the owner and not responsible). Please don't air out your employees personal information. We had a verbal contract and you as the owner failed, show some responsibility. My review stands, you can keep your guilt-trip.

My cheeks look fantastic, my nasal folds softened, my chin shadows, gone. This is just after two weeks. While it's hard to tell directly after treatment if the results will be on point, I can tell mine are and will be so after maybe just another small touch up, but that would be chasing perfection.
