EDIT: I wrote the review for the wrong location. I meant to write it for the one down the road. This is the bad location I reference in that review. I'll copy and paste my review to the correct location. Kinda shady for this one to use the Lapeer address knowing people will probably do what I did and mistake it for the nicer location down the road. Tsk tsk.
I'm gonna leave the review here below because it does talk about the issues at this location. And while I pretty much refuse to go to this one anymore, I stupidly from time to time decide to give it another try hoping they've restaffed and changed and always regret it. Just save yourself the headache and go to the other location 1/2 a mile down the road.

This is one of two 711's within about a mile radius, both in Walton. One on dexter in front of the elementary school, and then this one on the corner of M24 (Lapeer) and Walton across from the Arby's, next to four Korners. I've lived in this same house for over 25 years now, and went to school at the aforementioned elementary school and even then we made the extra 1/2 mile trip,out of the way to go to this location instead for after school snacks and slurpees. This one is just so much better. It's WAY cleaner, stocked better, the pop and slurpee machines aren't always broken like they are at the one on dexter. Plus the staff has always been 110% friendlier here. At the other store (on dexter) I've never had much luck finding any staff that has acted like anything other than they didn't want to fling themselves off a cliff because they had to be at work right now. Either that or they've given crazy judgmental looks/attitude, or acted like the customers were an inconvenience for them. This store however, even under the newer management as of late, has the nicest staff and are always eager to ask to help you. Plus they actually have things on the roller grill that aren't all dried out. And it's very rare that a soda, coffee or slurpee machine isn't working here, and usually by that time next day it's fixed on the off chance one goes down. We will contine to frequent this location even though it's a pain in the Keister to get in and out of lol. It's just that much better than the other location even if it isn't convenient. read more
