This pharmacy is a joke! Avoid at all costs if you can. I had to have my prescription transferred from the Walgreens by my house all the way over here. I drive the entire way, wait to pick up my rX, and I present a discount from goodrx.com, because I have no insurance. On the coupon it says in bold writing "Show this to pharmacist". I show him my discount and he says it needs to be PRINTED out. It says that NOWHERE, in fact, it says SHOW. he refused to let me use the discount. Dear male pharmacist who was working on Tuesday night (1/8/13): I came in feeling really crummy, batteling the onset of a cold and sore throat, in a hurry to pick up my monthly prescriptions and a few other necessities. After waiting in line a few minutes you promtly and politely greeted me, collected my two prescriptions and offered to ring up my other items there at the pharmacy counter without me even asking. I had had a LONG day and the great customer service was much appreciated. Before i left you gave me a great compliment on my "awesome shoes" which totally made my night - thanks for noticing ;-) I have to say this was the best experience I've had here at my local Walgreens and what promted me to write this review. I usually expect to wait quite some time to pick up my prescriptions either in the drive thru line or in the store (there just never seems to be enough people working in the pharmacy and i probably always come at the busiest times of the evenings). Though the staff is always nice and friendly, i seem to always be in a hurry and hate the considerable wait time to just grab my monthly prescriptions and get out of there. The only reason I am giving this even a 1 star is because of Ariel. When I told her about the experience she immediately apologized and made the situation better. When I first arrived to this location to make copies of some photos. I set next to a woman who was obviously new to the process of picture copying. I asked her if she needed help and she said yes thank you. She told me she had asked the team member Moriah for help and she had already told her "I've already showed you once, I can't keep helping you". She started crying to me because she was making copies of photos of her father who passed away and would be using these photos for his funeral the next day. I assisted her in completing her scanning. When Ariel came to the counter to work, I quietly informed her of the situation. She walked over to the customer and apologized for her experience, offered the lady a Kleenex and ultimately gave her a discount on her order. The only reason I will come back is because of Ariel... A very slow and disorganized pharmacy. Seems like every month they have some issue with my insurance or an authorization or problems with my refills. My doctors all say there are no problems on their end; it's always Walgreens holding things up. Also, their wait times are pretty awful. They will text me saying my meds are ready but when I go to pick them up, they don't have anything ready for me and I have to come back hours later. Such a pain to deal with this store. read more

Horrible customer service. My regular pharmacy is CVS but they didn't have one of my medications in stock so I had to go to Walgreens this one time. I called them to make sure my prescription was ready and I was on hold for a whole 45 mins and nobody answered my call. In fact, they hung up on me after the 45 mins. When I went to pick up my prescription, the pharmacy tech suggested I get a consultation. I stepped over to the consultation window and the pharmacist made eye contact with me but did not once say that she would be right with me, instead she ignored me for a good 7 minutes after which I decided to leave. The Indian female pharmacist at this Walgreens is racist and I do not recommend anyone to go this Pharmacy. After this experience with Walgreens, I'm so glad I get all my prescriptions from CVS. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Instead of the pharmacist doing their job they just tell you it's not covered or it's being rejected. I gave them the number to call and verify eligibility and they told me they have to help other customers first behind me. Why?! When I was here first. Been in pain for days going back and forth with them just to try and get my medicine. I ended up just having to pay out of pocket just to so I don't have to be in pain anymore. DO NOT GO HERE! They do give a damn about their customers. CVS, Target, or Rite Aid they give way better service. read more

Once when I said I would sign up for a reward card and when I said thank you after my boyfriend completed the purchase. She is there to provide a service, not an attitude. This review is specific to the pharmacy. They seem to be perpetually understaffed. As a result, the wait times to pick up your prescription are often ridiculous. And the drive-thru is even worse than inside. Over the last two years, they have made multiple errors on my prescription refills and don't seem particularly concerned when I point out an error. I used to work at stater brothers, and thus understand the frustration of people wanting to come in the shop when the store is already closed ( the time that store states that it closes has already elapsed). This was not the case when I arrived with my sick niece who needed formula and 1 or 2 other items. I made in there by 10:55:Pm, which showed on the clock inside their store and also on my cellphone. The manager (a short Latino guy, I think his name was Juan) refused to let me in despite my pleas and assurances that I would be out by 11pm. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS AT WALGREENS-IT MAY NOT WORK AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK. I bought a $150 card for a wedding gift and the clerk forgot to activate it. So now I am in a fued with the Executive Office because the card won't work and they won't issue a refund for it. There are too many details to write in this review, but it has been an ongoing fight for many months now and I am not letting Walgreens win. Even their EXECUTIVE OFFICE can't help me. They took $150 of my money and so much of me and my recently-married friend's time. Gift cards from walgreens are gifts from hell. I always go to the drive thru. The wait can be up to 30-40 minutes at times. They seen understaffed but they try to be courteous. At times 1 girl is working walk up window & the drive thru. Not good especially at peak hours. Store inside is clean & photo dept has always been helpful. Guess I just don't expect much from a walgreens read more

I went to this Walgreens the night before to get a few prescriptions filled. I was told that they can transfer it to the upland store since upland is 24 hours. I said okay and we left. The next morning, we drove to the upland store and we were told that the Walgreens on haven never sent it over and that it's ready at the one on haven. I am not amused and in pissed off. We drove back to the one on haven and we asked what happened. So the pharmacist explained to us what happened and basically we found out that the medication will be in the system but any Walgreens can pull it and fill it. night shift dropped the ball and didn't inform us. I give them three stars because I love Walgreens in general, and because the service there was prompt and active when I brought up a concern. I was in the store today looking for some Yes To Cucumbers hair conditioner. As happened in another Walgreens (Mountain and Foothill in Upland), The only product on the shelves was old, in the previous packaging which changed in December 2010, and expired (expiration date 1/11/2011). That is nearly two MONTHS over the expiration date. I asked the clerk who was ringing me up for a manager, who came quickly, and seemed clueless when I asked about the expired product on the shelves. I showed him the difference between the old and current packaging and showed him the expiration dates. To his credit, he apologized, said they do plan to continue carrying the product and said he would order some immediately. But this just gave me pause because I now will check even more carefully the expiration dates of things I buy from there. When new stock of other products from the Yes Yo...line came out, did no one notice the difference in packaging and think to check the stock on their shelves? Does no one check for expired products on shelves? Does no one realize that the fact that the products are expired may be why no one is buying them? read more

I dropped off my prescription on monday was told they could only get it partially filled but would have the rest by wednesday, however its now Saturday and now they tell the don't know when they will be getting the rest in.. Since we have been using this Walgreens in Rancho Cucamonga we have had nothing but trouble with our refills. When brought to their attention customer service has been rude. Finally had to walk away from Walgreens. If I could rate this pharmacy negative starts I would. My husband has been dealing with this pharmacy since 3pm to try to get a refill on his rescue inhaler. First the male pharmacist made up some Bs name that he says he faxed a request over to. After calling almost every hour there finally came a point where my husband was on hold for 20 mins to talk to someone. No one ever answered. I called right after and the gentlemen picked up right away.I told him that my husband was having an asthma attack and needed this right away I stressed to him that my husband was sick of waiting on hold and was already driving to the pharmacy( this was at 8pm). When my husband got there the male pharmacist was hiding and pretending to be busy. I would not recommend this pharmacy what so ever. The pharmacist is completely unprofessional and It's sad that their employers would actually hold up someone's rescue inhaler because they felt like it. Being new to Rancho Cucamonga I gave this Walgreens THREE tries. Every single time when I go back to pick up my medicine I am told they are out of stock. No one bothers to call and let me know not to bother driving back to pick up my prescription. After several months I unfortunately decided to give them one more try since they are close to my home. I dropped off my prescription around 12 noon. I was told to come back after 2:30. I waited an extra hour or two to give them plenty of time to make sure my prescription was filled and I just went back. Wait in line and I'm told my prescription is not in stock. I can't believe it. I asked the young man why wouldn't somebody call to tell me that it's not in stock? He replied oh, you didn't get a call? Really, would I be standing here and made a trip back had someone called me? He asked if I would like to have phone call or text to let me know the next time the prescription is not in stock. I told them they won't be a next time, when I pick my medicine up tomorrow afternoon that'll be my last time here. One time I can understand,maybe they're busy all day long and can't call a customer, but three times? Nah, I can take my money anywhere. read more

Around 1pm I was waiting in the photo section waiting to purchase photos. After waiting for 5-10 minutes at the photo booth and no response I decided to not purchase photos. I asked the guy in the front of the store(Ricky) about the photo service and he stated that we can help you now. I declined stating how upset I was. Instead of apologizing or showing the so-called Walgreens customer service he stated "Your loss buddy. We're Walgreens." I guess Walgreens isn't what it used to be. I doubt I will ever give another dollar to the store again and I plan to spread the story to whoever will listen. read more

The pharmacy at this store is is not good!I transfered my perscription to this store when it came time for a refill they had to call the doctor when they called the doctor they did not tell them it was a new pharmacy so the doctors office called the old pharmacy to refill the perscription.I needed my perscription for high blood pressure walgreens says we called and the doctors office and they did not call back so they call the doctor again this time the doctor gives them a refill,but it was already refilled at the old pharmacy so my insurance would not accept it to be refilled again.So i had to call walgreens my doctors office my old pharmacy then walgreens again to figure this out myself WOW REALLY.That was just one perscription i transfered several perscriptions at the same time because i just moved to rancho cucamonga i have had trouble filling my perscriptions at this pharmacy every time.I will try another pharmacy maybe they can get this right.Walgreens has problems in the pharmacy department in the store and online.I thought i could figure it out online no help finally got my refill then 2 days later it says it is time for a refill they need to call the doctor.I have had to manage my own perscriptions and call them every time i need a refill.Then when it comes time for a refill on another perscription that i had transfered and had them fill once already they told me it would be ready then it was not ready so i talked to pharmacy help online they said it would be ready by 9:00 the next morning.I went to store to pick it up at 11:00 it was still not ready i finally got my perscription the next day.That was the last straw NEVER AGAIN will i EVER go to walgreens! read more
