The pharmacy and instore staff are so helpful and professional with their services. Much better than other pharmacies I have delt with.

Agree with Karen - it's pretty quiet - but I'm not complaining! Easy in and out, and usually clean.

Annie is a money hungry stylist that overcharges her clients for haircolor, highlights. Its…read morefreaking ridiculous how much she charges. She intentionally started charging me extra after she was complaining to another stylist that I used up all the "toner, bleach" As you can see in the receipt that I posted, she charges me extra for "product, toner, and olaplex treatment" oh wow. Charges me a whole bottle of toner. And the olaplex treatment? That should have been complimentary. Rude. Seeing that shes a master stylist and already charges "starting at 160" no clue as to why. Whats next? Charge people for hairbrush and water usage? Basically if you go to beauty brands-you are paying for their rent, utilities, heater, air conditioner, brush, combs, capes. Just know that next time you pay. I won't be going back to beauty brands to get my hair done nor any other salon in town, cuz you know what? I'm coloring my OWN hair. I'm learning all the lingo stylists use. Thanks to the internet, there are tons of do it yourself. And honesty its not that hard. Also as far as using "professional salon hair color products" that only licensed stylists can buy yes, there's a website where non licensed people can buy. Probably a good reason why they don't sell the "secret" use only licensed hair color products at the stores is because they want people to go to the salon and spend hundreds of $$$$ on bleach, toner, hair color. Now why is it they sell bleach and hair color at the stores like sally beauty supplies but don't allow non licensed people to get their hands on salon professional hair products?! Cuz they don't want the public getting their hands on them and do their own hair -which means all those hairstylists would be out of a job. $300 -$400 going to a salon and pay that?! Ridiculous. Since when is hair considered luxury? Cosmetic surgery is luxury. It makes sense it costs thousands of dollars, it takes 10 years to become a doctor. But a stylist goes to cosmetology school for what 9 months and tuition is $18,000 to learn colors on the wheel and how to look at swatches? You people keep overcharging for your prices and you'll be out of a job cuz no one wants to pay $300 just for bleach.

But, here is the reason why we will not be back to Beauty Brands on The Plaza: I imagine that you would have to actually go out of your way to hire a staff so impersonal, rude, and condescending as the group that were on staff on a recent Saturday morning. We are sympathetic to the challenges of hiring and retaining qualified personnel in recent years, but what we ran into at Beauty Brands on Ward Parkway was almost comically dysfunctional. We may have been witnessing the second stringers, but it cannot be excused, the hiring of people of this callous disposition toward paying customers.

When my sister asked what seemed to be the manager with assistance with coloring her hair the woman didn't know anything about coloring dark hair she recommended products that would make anyones hair fall out. Then she stated another sales woman (the one at the register) could help better so she would send her over after her last transaction which was still going on. The sales woman at the register not even 5 seconds later asks for help with the other customer, which once the manager started helping the other customer the other sales rep could've came to assist us, instead they both stayed to help which seemed to only be in conversation because they were comfortable with eachother. After waiting for the transaction to be completed I hear the door open and it's the SAME rep that's supposed to be assisting US assisting the same customer she was comfortable with to her car, we waiting because the customer was elderly, but as we're waiting we see the rep still outside having casual conversation with the customer while we were still waiting. The manager could've assisted the other customer to her car while the one could help us finally. But no instead the manager was sitting at the register doing nothing. We walked out not being assisted and barely noticed in the store. I would NEVER go back to this location, wouldn't recommend ANYONE I know, AND the store needs better staffing, this MEDIOCRE customer service we received today was complete trash.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RACIST AND SOCIALLY IGNORANT SALLYS!! YOUR BETTER OFF AT WALMART!…read more I was in dire need for assistance about a color. There was a red head working with an older lady when me and my sister walked in. NO GREETING. Okay so we walked around to the color and noted we needed assistance. NO ONE AROUND but I hear keys from another associate. GREET HER FIRST and ask for help. I explain everything and tell her that I just need assistance with a color match. The lady tells me she doesn't know anything only the lady who works register can help. Okay cool. So she says when she finishes ringing her up, I'll have her come over and help. The lady finishes ringing her up and WALKS OUT with the old lady. No one tells us as we are just waiting. When we notice there's only the non assisting lady playing in the register we walk to the door to leave. She asks us to stay because she'll be back after TAKING THE LADY TO HER CAR WITH HER ONE BAG OF CONDITIONER. She instead tries to help by telling me what SEMI colors are popular and that since my hair is so dark i'll need 40 developer.. Nobody said that was what i needed assistance for. So why give out the wrong help?? After telling her I'll just wait on the other lady, we waited another 5 minutes before we left to see the old lady and the red head just CHATTING outside by her car and watching us leave. AS SOON as we are in our car, the red head leaves to go back into Sally's. THIS PLACE IS RACIST AND DOES NOT TREAT ALL CUSTOMERS EQUALLY OR WITH EXPEDIENCE!! They lallygag and will pretend like they're laziness is just that but NO, ignoring and giving out the WRONG information is not what I drove to Sally's for!

This review is to share my patient experience to help people…read more Dr. Thomas McEwan performed the surgery. I received a letter that he was no longer with Saint Luke's and had left town. Dr. McEwan is aware of everything in this review. Every day I see in the mirror the damage as a result of my surgery. My face was my calling card. Dr. McEwan made a mistake during my surgery that resulted in damage to my left eyelid. I was there for surgery on my right eyelid. My problem was sagging skin on my right eyelid, not my left eyelid. I found out later from an outside source, he does not specialize in eyelid surgery. Saint Luke's confirmed that to be true. That is not how he represented himself to me. I agreed to go back to Dr. McEwan if they would let me know his experience, training, board certification and how many surgeries before mine. They agreed. But later decided not to give me that information. After the surgery, I cannot get answers to any questions. Following are just a few of those questions. 1) Has Dr. McEwan ever successfully grafted skin from a patient's body to their eyelid? He told me the skin he mistakenly removed from my eyelid could be replaced with skin from my body. 2) Why does my Medical Record not contain information that my left eyelid was damaged? No explanation as to why that information is missing. 3) Why does my Medical Record not contain information that he offered a skin graft to fix the damage? No explanation as to why that information is missing. 4) Why do Dr. McEwan's photos of me not show I had sagging skin and not show too my skin removed? I feel anyone seeing those before and after photos would be misled about the results of my surgery. 5) Has Dr. McEwan ever done a successful eyelid surgery before mine, or was I his first patient? I did not get an answer. Before the surgery his answer was several. He didn't know how many. 6) I was told they would show me his previous eyelid patient's before/after photos. I found out later, there are no previous patient before/after eyelid photos. Was I his first eyelid patient? 7) Has he reported to the hospital that he caused damage to a patient's eyelid? I was told he didn't feel he did anything wrong and he felt bad about what happened to me. 8) Has he ever done a successful brow lift surgery? He offered that as a fix for sagging skin on one eyelid. More Information ============================================== 1) I called some cosmetic surgeons for help. They recommended a surgeon that specializes in botched eyelid surgeries. That doctor repairs eyelids damaged by trauma, disease, and botched surgeries. He could not repair the damage to my eyelids due to amount of skin removed. He did tell me not to let Dr. McEwan do a skin graft to my eyelid. I would not like it. I told this to Dr. McEwan's office in an email. I asked how did this happen? His expert opinion was that Dr. McEwan just got his numbers crossed. 2) There is so much more to my patient experience. Dr. McEwan is aware of my complete story. All I wanted was a simple procedure so I could get a new headshot. I cancelled that plan He knew the stakes were high for me. I told him several times if my right eye looked like my left eyelid, I would not have anything done. Now I need surgery to repair my left eyelid. Now I need more surgery from a board certified surgeon trained in eyelids.

The office here was efficient and the appointment was thorough. I went to another dermatologist last year at another hospital who was almost mocking that I was in to get checked out. She's like, "you don't use a tanning booth and don't have anything worrisome? Why are you here?" Um. You know, to not get skin cancer and to do preventative care! It was the opposite here where my appointment ran smoothly while also taking any other questions I had. So if she's accepting new patients (no guarantee), I'd highly recommend Dr. Horner. She knows what she's doing and is overall top-notch.

The front desk told other patients the doctor was running an hour behind but not me... I am giving her 4 stars because she is personable, factual and gets it done quick! Every question I had she answered directly and did not hummmhawww like some Derms I have been too. She will point you in the right direction and give you her opinion on what you should do. She will also tell you if she feels comfortable or not removing a mole or doing a certain procedure. The parking garage is a pain in the butt, no one can park between the lines. If you drive a larger vehicle you should just head right up to floor 6/7. This is considered plaza 1 but its in building 3. The nurses were all very friendly and communicative. I have another appointment in May. She is part of St, Lukes Medical Services.

The location is easy to find with convenient parking, and it is right next to Fluffy Fresh. When I arrived in the morning, I almost thought they were closed because the store looked pretty dark from outside, but the open sign was there and I was greeted politely when I went in. The shop has a lot of cute, curated items, with maybe a stronger focus on stationery and paper goods than the small figures or novelty items I was personally hoping for. There is also a little trinket exchange cabinet, which is a fun concept and worth checking out even if you are just browsing. Overall, the selection felt thoughtfully chosen, just more in line with stationery and gifts than I was looking for that day. One thing that stood out to me was the lighting. Even on a sunny day with large windows, the interior felt quite dim, especially when browsing smaller items. A bit more overhead lighting would make it easier to really see what they offer. That said, the atmosphere was calm and the staff was friendly without being overbearing, which I appreciated. I might not rush back, but I would definitely take another look if something caught my eye on their website first.
