Do not honor their own coupon prices. Ridiculously rude. Changing all my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

This location has gift card fraud going on. They sold me a card with a 4 digit pin, when I called the company they say their cards can only be redeemed with 6 digit pins. I still had my receipt and no one wanted to do anything about it. No refunds! They knowingly sell fraudulent Nike gift cards and get away with it. read more

Pharmacy has terrible customer service. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes while 5 employees walked around and never even acknowledged me. I am fine waiting my turn, but when there's plenty of people working, a customer at the desk should probably warrant at least a nod and "someone will be right with you". Bad service. read more

Thankful for awesome service at Walgreens Plano! Michele, Steve, and crew are attentive and friendly! I can always count on my friends here to go above and beyond the call of duty. During the recent Coronavirus pandemic stores were crazy in general. I have been blessed to know Walgreens plans ahead and the management thinks in realtime as well. The Walgreens truck was parked in the loading dock so I was hoping to for sure that my items were going to be in stock. I needed a new sinus rinse system, saline packets, and distilled water. The grocery store was sold out already. This is my normal routine treatment and I didn't think to stock pile up until I saw the empty shelves. I got up to the register and asked 2 of my favorite Walgreens' ambassadors, Michele and Steve when they expected to have more distilled water in. They discussed it and Steve ran back to stock area for me and came back with 2 gallons for me! Michele held my transaction for me since no one was waiting. Wow! Thanks so much team! I was pretty blown away today with the excellent customer service at the pharmacy. I've had not so great experiences here before due to certain meds not being in stock but today they helped me navigate my insurance and got me filled a little early due to an upcoming trip. I really appreciate them going above and beyond. I'll try to remember this next time things don't work out lol read more

Pharmacy is not friendly or helpful. They are sarcastically assisting people. The bald pharmacist asked if I had questions about my medication and I did, to his surprise, he was not helpful but condescendingly aloof for sure! Either the guy was ignorant or lazy. They also have a poor notification system so you could be waiting forever if you don't call and speak to a rude(slightly racist) person. I'm going to recommend CVS to fill my scripts. read more

Worst pharmacy ever!!! Do not get your prescriptions filled here. First off my son prescription was filled and when I came to pick it up the following day it wasn't ready so they told me to come back in 30 minutes, so I did just to fine out they don't even have the medicine in stock and they had to order it making me wait a week for it. Following week I come to pick up and they still hadn't ordered it so I had to wait until the following week on a Monday when they finally get my son's prescription ready. Now due to my son having to take his meds 3 times a day now and the school keeping half of his prescription, my doctor sends out a refill for me to pick up only to have to go through the same thing again not being ready for 3 weeks!! And now they refused to give me his medicine since they said I should have enough due to the amount I was given which was only enough for a month but again the school has half his prescription and since now he went from taking his meds twice a day to 3 times a day the doctor decided to do a refill that they won't give me! I called my son's doctor and they had to send his prescription to a different pharmacy for me to be able to give my son his meds. They are really rude here as well, if my husband hadn't been with me when I was trying to pick up his meds for the 5th time I guarantee you I wouldn't have held back from what they had coming after they wasted my time so many times claiming to have his meds ready. From other reviews I've read I'm not the first person this has happened to. read more

Horrible customer service. I have an appointment here today for Covid and I can't go to work until I get a negative Test. I arrived a few minutes early and they told me to COME BACK. I got there 15 minutes early and they wouldn't do my test. Gas is way to expensive to make me drive away and come back over 15 MINUTES. There was no one in line at the drive thru and two cars in the Walgreens parking lot. They're definitely not doing anything that prevents them from pulling up my information a few minutes early. read more

How many times does my doctor have to send my prescription electronically for them to get it? My doctor sent the prescription that I needed four times and they are telling me that they did not get it. My doctor has sent several other prescriptions the same exact way and there has been no problem. This is not the first time that this has happened with this prescription and it has nothing to do with the prescription but I'm wondering now if they just don't have it or they just did not feel it. This particular location is becoming more and more useless when it comes to the pharmacy and it's getting quite aggravating. Unfortunately I cannot stay with CVS because of my insurance which I have never had a problem with CVS but with this particular Walgreens it has been a nightmare. So they can care less yes I need this medication and cannot be without it, what a coincidence that everything else has worked except for this particular medicine which is something very common. read more

Terrible customer service. Scream and yell at patients. No good notification system. Poor communication. Do not put patient on auto refill or even suggest that. No wonder why BCBS went exclusively with them. They probably give a cut to BCBS and get the largest insurer. Patients. No accountability for the bad service as they have the best contract. Normally this Walgreens is the best but they are not enforcing the mask law. Customers are being allowed in the store and going up to the pharmacy with no mask. Unacceptable! Other than exposing you to Covid with lack of masks it is a very clean and nice store read more

This Walgreens is the same as every other Walgreens I have ever been to. The place is clean, they have pretty much everything you could ask for, and there is alway one close. The reason for only 3 stars is the customer service. I always get my prescription filled there and its seems to always take forever. One lady behind the counter doing the best she can with 5 customers waiting in line. Maybe I am just unlucky but you would think they could staff the place a little better. The most recent time I stopped in a manager came up to help with a refund. He handled the one transaction and then left with a line of 5 customers for the only lady to deal with. Don't tell me a manager has better things to do than help waiting customers! read more

I think it's funny how everybody in here is "so rude" this is the place I buy my pet food, smokes, make-up, and if they are having the sells...tp. I always have people asking me if i need help, don't get me wrong, I have had a couple times that maybe they are trying to close or they are busy they get short. But I love this place. I'm here pretty often picking up odds and ends I forget at the store and the people are usually really friendly. I've also had some issues with Rx and the pharmacy staff are super nice as well. I'm a regular and recommend it. read more

The store on 1600 Preston does not come up on Yelp, so this is the closest one I could find. Walgreens at 1600 Preston Rd (by Old Shepherd) is the absolute worst pharmacy imaginable!! BEWARE that your meds may not be what you ordered or you will be over charged for meds. This must be a scamming pharmacy. On several occasions I have tried to get my meds through there and each time the pharmacy could not tell their head from a hole in the ground. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I am not sure why Jason is the worst at customer service and they keep him in the window service. I was over charged for meds when the UT Walgreens sent complete instructions that I do not have a co pay. I could not get the meds in time for when I needed them and UT sent them to Walgreens at 1600 Preston Rd (by Old Shepherd). There was no co pay. When they were picked up, they charged a copay. I called and talked with Jason about it and he said he would call me back with the reason. I never heard from him. I called the next day, today, and Sara answered. She said I am correct, there is no copay. I could pick the meds up at any time. Was there not a record that I had already picked up the meds? No! She asked if I had a receipt, I said yes. Was she so arrogant to think I did not know what I was talking about?? Just BEWARE for stupidity if you go there. I think that if you have no clue what you are doing, you will be hired to work there. read more

Walgreens Photo Center 6301 W PARK BLVD Plano,TX Store #5508 I used the Walgreens photo center to print some wood panel photos and I had a horrible experience. The photo tech was very rude and the staff was incompetent. The wood panel print I was purchasing was a gift for my mother-in-law's birthday. The quality of the photo was dark and blurry. I told the checkout clerk that the photo was too dark and blurry and the photo tech came over and told my husband and I she could do nothing to the quality of the picture because it came from facebook. The photo was one of our professional wedding photos exported from my computer . I exported 1200x800 image saved file sizes at jpeg quality 10 /40KB to 2MB. This facebook accusation was very confusing. I was not sure why she thought I would take my own wedding picture from facebook. The tech was very arrogant, rude, condescending, ignorant and a know-it-all. Her comprehension and knowledge of photography was inaccurate and limited. She stated 4 different times during the conversation that the image had come from facebook. I took it as a personal attack towards my husband and I. I quickly realized that I was not going to get the photo gift that I purchased for my mother-in-law and proceeded to buy my other wood panels (8x10 on sale for 11.99 each). when I got home I could see that the other panels had bubbles in them and were not properly bonded to the wood backing. I received poor customer service and a poor product. I did reprint the same photos that evening on wood paneling at the Custer location (in Plano) and the quality was great. Same photo ,no blurriness , no darkness and no uneven bubbles. read more
