This store is just fine. At great location on signal crossing 35th avenue and Union Hills. They have all departments available. However they don't have any signs or encouragement for pickup order. I literally had to ask someone and turned out that they keep package pickup at photo print counter itself. They should probably keep a sign board to make it easier for customers to get the visibility. read more

I would give this zero stars if I could. The pharmacy sucks and is completely understaffed . Spent 30 minutes on hold waiting for somebody to answer and this happens several times no matter what time of day and no matter what day or time of year. read more

This is the 2nd time I needed to talk to them and was cutoff 6 times by their phone system. I was on hold for 15 minutes or more each time, would finally get a ringtone for over 3 minutes, and then disconnected for "technical difficulties" each time. I am going to find any other pharmacy to use except Walgreens. Enough is enough. read more

I was subjected to a racist attitude by an employee of the pharmacy that I used to go to for four years. I was with my wife who bought her own medicine and after that I wanted to buy medicine for my eyes and after my wife finished I wanted to pay for the medicine but the employee stood upset and looked at me for a long time. He inhaled and exhaled and showed his anger towards me because of what I showed him. I did not understand his secret but I asked him after and he told me that he was tired but that this is not an excuse because he served my white American wife but I returned the product because of my upset about the incident and filed a complaint to the manager of the pharmacy. The store itself is fine but the pharmacy here is terrible. Absolutely awful. Anytime my husband tries to pick up a prescription for me, they always tell him they don't have it...but I get text notices that it's available. You can never reach them on the phone. NEVER USE THIS PHARMACY!!!! This is the worst Pharmacy. We use to go to Frys at 43rd and Bell, but moved and this one is 0.25 miles away. They mess up meds, mixed people, and say they will call if there is a problem, but then NEVER call you. If this was a one time issue, I would understand. We are now having issues for the 3rd time in less than 5 visits. They mess up more than 50% of the time. That is terrible. Going to back to Frys even though I will have to drive. read more

Absolutely worthless! This pharmacy has steadily gone downhill since Mel B left. I put in for refills on 2 heart medications on Sunday morning and it said they would be ready by noon Monday. I go there at noon Monday and they were not ready. They told me they would be ready by 5pm. I went back around 5:30 and surprise surprise- they still aren't ready. I told the dumb assed kid with the handlebar mustache he told me it would be ready by 5pm and he said I'm only mortal! They need to fire him and everyone else working in that pharmacy and bring in new people. My wife is waiting on 3 prescriptions as well, and they can't seem to handle that either. read more

Horrible service. Sent my prescription over two hours before I attempted pickup for a prescription for a non controlled substance. They were training a new employee at the pharmacy, I'm okay with that and usually patient. However, I was told I wasn't in their system and she couldn't help me - the other tech was busy so I had to wait a few minutes before he could help me. Then when the other pharmacy tech helped me, who was also wearing an obnoxious pirate getup on his head (super professional), he told me my prescription hadn't been filled. I had to wait another 30 mins. After 30 mins it still was not filled and then they finally filled it after I waited at the counter for another 5 mins, for 10 measly pills. When they filled the prescription I heard them make a crude comment about why I was there to pick up that specific medication, something that was already a sensitive issue made me feel worse. Then I tried to get some snacks at the front desk afterwards because I'm sick and I didn't want to worry about food for the rest of the day.... New employee at this checkout as well. He didn't know how to put things in a bag and by this time I didn't care because I had been at Walgreens for nearly 50 minutes and I dropped in on my lunch. Thanks Walgreens, I get to work 30 minutes longer on a Friday to make up for an excessive lunch break due to your customer service issues. read more

I always get my prescriptions filled here but after tonight this is the last time I'm using this pharmacy. The pharmacy drive thru was still open until 6pm. It was 5:40 when I pulled up. No one helped me what so ever. I'm sick and didn't want to go inside. I asked the lady helping me why aren't they helping anyone in the drive thru she says it's only us 2 here. (45 minutes to drop off or pickup a RX) They don't have your RXs when you get there after they've sent you text and email notices they are ready. Fill RXs out of order when you are waiting. This store is clean. Fairly well organized. The workers are helpful and polite. Their prices range from high on regular merchandise to incredibly low on sale and clearance items. I've been to many Walgreens stores in my life. In fact, I've worked at at least 4 or 5 locations in my years there back in the late 90's through 2009 on and off. This store is awesome. The staff is great both up front and in the pharmacy. The store is clean and pretty well stocked. The people that work there are truly nothing short of amazing. They great you at the door when you walk in and are always kind when you ask for help. The head cosmetics lady is as sweet and helpful as they come. (They deal with a lot of crap being that this location has some transients & druggies around. I'm sure they have seen it all!) It's always nice to walk in and be welcomed by the staff here. This rating is strictly for their pharmacy. They have an incompetent pharmacy tech working there who wasted my time. I got new insurance and told them that. Most pharmacies will take it over the phone and run the RX so you know how much you have to pay ahead of time. This guy told me I needed to come in. (ugh) Well I did and another pharmacy tech ran it and found out I needed a prior authorization. So I drove down there for nothing because my doctor's office was already closed. And I had to wait until the next day. My husband was a pharmacy tech (went to college for it) and said he was being lazy because he could have checked my insurance over the phone to save me time. If the guy is new, he should not be working by himself but shadowing someone. So my rating is for the inconsistency of the pharmacy and wasting my time and gas. read more

The Pharmacy Side is terrible. The Employees are extremely rude I literally was behind a tow truck at red light watched the tow truck unload the car and took off before i even got to the window. I went to this Walgreen's for the first time today. I was bit by a bug. I saw it land on my hand and when I swatted it away, I noticed the bite. I immediately started itching and it stated spreading. I went to the Pharmacy and asked if they have a bug problem and she called the manager back. He actually told me they have a known Gnat problem. I took a Benadryl at the store with the free warm bottled water. The Pharmacist actually said "I only see red spots on your hands and arms". I was itching all over the place and asked if I should drop my jeans? It got worse when I got home and I started breaking out in bumps all over. The Benadryl and Lidocaine I already had at home helped a little but as I'm writing this it wore off and I'm itching really bad. Going to try my more Benadryl so I don't have to pay my $250 co pay at an ER but if it gets worse, I have no choice but to go to the ER and Walgreen's will pay. I also have Valley Fever and am worried an allergic reaction to anything could interact. I guess we'll see. I am contacting the Health Department since the Manager admitted they have a known Gnat issue and they sell food. I will update pictures if it gets worse. I can't believe they didn't take this seriously. Maybe I should call a lawyer??? read more

I wish you could write separate reviews for the store and the pharmacy within the store. In general Walgreens has been pretty good to me but I've never had luck with their pharmacies at any of the locations. I receive an email to refill my prescriptions and I'm told all j have to do is reply. I do as the message says and it tells me it will be ready by 11 am. So after work I drive down there to pick up my meds and it's not ready. Not only is it not ready but the girl tells me it's not even started. I show up over 7 hours after it was to be completed and it's not started? Wonderful. I wait around for them to fill my meds and when I go to pay they tell me my insurance isn't valid. I ask how is that possible if I just filled the same meds last month and it was valid? She tells me I paid the self pay price. I ask her why no one told me I was paying the FULL price for the pills so I could have given them my updates insurance and she lies and tells me it was my copayment. I ask if that's true then why is it $0 this time? She claims she doesn't know why the insurance didn't pay. I let her know it's probably because you didn't tell me you needed my updated card. Now I have to go home and file my own claims to get reimbursed for the medications I picked up. This created a lot of problems because I reached out to my doctor to try and get my meds changed due to the fact I assumed the copayment was high when in fact it was free! I'm constantly having issues with Walgreens pharmacy and I'm such an idiot for returning here. To make matters better the girl tells the guy that I gave her the wrong card and he gives me a look like I'm an idiot. Well of course I didn't realize my info was outdated when I've been filling my meds all year and it's 4 months deep in 2015 and I'm barely being informed you weren't billing my insurance and making me pay full price! read more

If I could give zero stars for the pharmacy I would. There's a prescription my son needs that they rarely have in stock so I have to drive to one a lot farther away to get it. Today I realized he was on his last dose and I forgot to try to take care of it earlier in the week. I called simply to see if it was in stock. Mind you, it wasn't an anonymous call. They had his info and could clearly see it is regularly filled each month and that it was filled exactly a month ago. But they refused to tell me if it was in stock saying "we do not release stock information over the phone" (again if it was an anonymous call I could understand!) I told her they had in the past and she said "I'll be sure to make a note that we don't do that again". Seriously??? Called next day to check on prescription and was told there was no prescription to pickup and the type of medication required me to physically drop it off. Sure wish I could give the pharmacy zero stars. Horrible customer service. One male pharmacy tech was so rude tonight and under his breathe over the phone he says oh my god. I said excuse me and of course he tried covering it up. He would not give me the corporate number and I asked again to talk to supervisor lets just say they put me on hold 4 times and the guy that's answered was the same guy I spoke to that I was complaining about they tried pretending it was the supervisor. Horrible horrible place. Plus I have been trying to fill my medicine there for a month now and I keep getting the run around. One message says waiting in insurance approval and then I get an email saying its on delay because it's not in stock. Oh and it was done the 27th and got no phone call saying it was done and they said they had to restock it. I know from leaving my meds there for a few days you get that annoying message over and over again to pick it up. Which I never received. I am so disappointed in this pharmacy.
