I'm a physician trying unsuccessfully to call in 2 prescriptions for a patient. I first left 2 recorded messages detailing the prescriptions at 4 pm today. When my patient called me at 8 pm to say the pharmacy had no record of the calls, I called again. I spent 12 minutes on hold multiple times before being mechanically disconnected and told to call back later. I then called back, got put on hold, and eventually spoke to a tech who said they'd get the pharmacist, followed by 17 minutes of dead air. No pharmacist! If a doctor can't get through to leave a prescription, what chance does a patient have of getting their medication here? In 42 years of practice I have never encountered this level of dysfunction in a pharmacy. read more

This pharmacy is an absolute mess. I went through the drive-thru on a weekday around 1 PM to pick up medication for my mom. I was the first car at the window and still waited 15 minutes with no acknowledgment. I even pressed the call button--someone finally answered with, "We'll be right with you." Really? After 15 minutes of being ignored? I ended up calling the store and asking for the manager. He apologized and said he would send someone out. Eventually, a woman came to the window but didn't even bother to apologize for the long wait. Completely unprofessional. Save yourself the frustration--try another Walgreens pharmacy. read more

I have to agree with all the reviews. The pharmacy at this Walgreens is awful. There's always a wait and very slow service. I understand they're doing their best. Maybe they are understaffed. But my prescription was supposed to be filled and when I got there they were "working on it" that it would be 10 more minutes. I dislike coming here. The staff has to be the slowest and not very friendly. the ladies that were there did not even bother assisting no customer service. The way she talks it seems that she hates her job and that day got into an argument with a customer due to her attitude. Wish there was something good I could say about this place, but I can't. Came to pick up my daughter prescription arrived 8pm Tuesday night, there was only 2 ladies in front of me, finally was helped 8:45. The young tech at register must be new cause he seemed very lost. Found my prescription on their system and said it's at another store. He gave me address and said good luck. I asked when they close at other Walgreens? He said 9pm in four minutes. I told him no way I can make it there, so I asked can I get regular ibuprofen 200 mg pills and take 3 to compensate for the 600mg prescribed dosage? He said he did not know. He asked me to wait to speak to the pharmacist. Finally 10 minutes later spoke to her, she asked if the tech I first spoke to saw the prescription in the computer? Told her yes that's how he also saw it's at another store. She turned to him and asked him why didn't you just offer to fill the prescription here? He stood there blank and then said of course I can fill it right now. ( where was that ten minutes ago when I told him no way I couldn't make it there?. Having compassion goes along way. Sadly the staff in pharmacy don't have that anymore I guess. By the way there were 2 prescriptions and he only filled one and stapled the bag closed so I left quickly in anger and didn't realize that until I was home. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with! When I came here to leave this review, I was not shocked to see the majority of reviews echo this sentiment. I was on hold for 42 minutes total, hung up on twice during that time, and when I finally got a hold of someone, they couldn't find the prescription, which I had just confirmed with my Doc was sent in yesterday. I'm now moving all of my prescriptions to a non-Walgreens pharmacy because of this experience. read more

Ever since moving out of Hialeah, I think I'm condemned to terrible service at Walgreens. This one is relatively close to me. I get my prescriptions refilled there. It is a legitimate pain as they either keep giving me generics (which fine, they work the same, but at least tell me that I have the option for it rather than me having to ask for it) or they take forever and a day to give me the actual brand name prescription. Pharmacy, photos, main cashier, it's irrelevant - expect a zoo of people. The other day was perhaps the first day that I didn't have to wait half an hour to be attended. Part of me wonders is if this is due to their modernization of the freezer. Apparently now you have panels that electronically tell you what's behind them rather than you know... just basic crystal glass. The logic in this astounds me. It seems like a waste of money for something that could've been kept simple, but I'm rambling here. I've tried calling on several occasions only to get put on hold for half an hour if I even get an employee to answer. Just not worth it honestly. Always slammed. Drive-thru pharmacy isn't that much better. Wait, wait, wait everywhere. Ugh, I'm frustrated even remembering my last adventure in there, and what's worse, that I will eventually have no choice to return. Get your act together, Walgreens, and stop making me wait so much. read more

Worse Walgreens ever. They never have my medication ready (I am on anti-convulsant and multiple blood pressure medication pills). Then when my medication isn't in stock but another Walgreens near by has the medication that I need, one of the female pharmacist refuses to send it to another Walgreens pharmacy because "My doctor wrote it for this Walgreens." Now at this moment we are moving and I'm running low on my medication and it's like Walgreens and even my insurance company enjoys playing with medication that supposedly lowers my blood pressure and prevents seizures. I guess I don't need to take the medication since Walgreens believes it's a joke. I extremely dislike this Walgreens so much it disgusts me how they play around with my blood pressure medication. read more

I wish i have given them a negative star!! I went here to pick up pain meds from after having surgery and waited 3hrs (in pain!) after being told twice it'll be ready in 30mins. I even called 3x for them to tell me its still not ready. When I finally get the meds, on receipt showed it was processed an one hour prior. If I could pick a lower rating, I would. I believe the pharmacist's name is Kyesha - I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling but I was told her eyelashes were so large she could hardly keep her eyes open. My mother went to pick up my scripts for me after a root canal, scripts that were called in literally 5 hours ago at this point. Even if my doctor didn't put the script in immediately, the attitude that we received was completely out of line. My mother was basically turned away without the pain meds - which are not controlled, they gave me 500mg ibuprofen. when she asked about it, she got a snippy response that I will be notified, even though they already displayed the incorrect phone number for me (one that was from 8 years ago, I've updated my information now twice from two different locations) how they even had that number i have no idea. this prompted me to call my dentist, who said it had already been sent in but that they are going to call right now. after about ten minutes I called the pharmacy to check, and to correct my contact info. to which, I received the same attitude, tenfold. if you are going to be a pharmacist, understand that people are in bed in pain or sick, waiting for these medicines. Professionalism and kindness can go a long way - if you plan in being miserable, work somewhere away from the aching public. don't quit your day job, Kyesha. i will be promptly switching pharmacists because of YOU, and solely you. read more

Driving down the street in my six-four...Looking for drugs, and something to mop the floor. I discovered this awesome little place on the corner of my neighborhood called Walgreens. It's really pretty nifty. I'm not sure if you've ever heard of it. They sell everything from prescription medication to cigarettes and "as seen on TV" gadgets. They are open 24 hours, and even have a drive through! Don't even get me started on this program they have where you get a discount for giving them your phone number. Genius, I say! If great deals and convenient shopping if is your jam, check out Walgreens. I think there's a real chance this place might succeed and open another store at some point. read more

My sister was at this location on 08/03/2021 a little after 5:00PM the manager on duty was EXTREMELY!! rude to her. He even through her purchase which was some prescription at her. Walgreens is just as bad as CVS. I am her and I are transferring our prescriptions to Publix. Bye Walgreen keep hireing rude employees. Wish I could give this location a -0 star. read more

This is absolutely the worst Walgreens Pharmacy in the area. The pharmacy staff is incredibly lazy; they will even lie, telling you they don't fill a certain prescription (on principal, not because they are simply out of stock), and then redirect you to ANOTHER Walgreens. I think it's safe to say that you can add idiotic to the list. The photo developing station is also below par. Employees cannot answer any questions, and they will simply direct you to the photo kiosk. The store generally only has one cashier open at any given time despite the random employees I see milling around. Save yourself the total aggravation brought on by the incompetence of this Walgreens's staff by avoiding this particular location. Drive down the street to the one near Hiatus and Pines. read more

Hey FYI anyone looking for BinaxNOW they r out of this at the pharmacy. Would have been nice if they posted a sign. Instead I wasted my time waiting in line & then I was redirected to the front register. Then a gentlemen that appeared to be the manager said it was not logical to post a sign at the pharmacy that they ran out. It's not like it's chewing gum it's a covid test that works which in my opinion is a bit important right now. This store continues to disappoint me unless I'm going to buy a beverage or a snack. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I been coming here for more than a year because is the closest one to my house. There is always long line for prescriptions pick up. Not enough staff for the amount of work in the pharamcy. The poor tech was running between the window service and 2 counter registers. Needs lots of work. If you ever need to pick up an emergency medicine, don't have your doctor or dentist call it in to the Walgreens on Pines Blvd and 90 ave. 3 hrs back and forth with Walgreens and the dentist because the pharmacy doesnt know how to work their voicemails and put prescriptions in their system. They finally got it straight after numerous calls and I get here to pick it up and they tell me we don't have anything after I waited at the drive through for 45mins. Had to go into the pharmacy and go through the same thing over again. Seriously? Worse pharmacy ever. read more

This has to be the worst Walgreens in the entire chain. I called and after 27 minutes on hold someone picks up the phone and just hangs up. Went to the store and waited in line another 20 minutes to pick up medicine. They use the same line to drop off and pick up which makes everyone wait. read more

my daughter was not feeling well and we had to fill a last minute prescription. came here and tyree assisted us at the drive thru. he was BEYOND helpful, and made sure to get the script filled rather quickly and was nice about the whole thing. def will be coming back mmore often for these kind of things! and tyree is def an important asset to the pharmacy department read more

Came in at 11:00 PM to get a prescription and it was ready 15 minutes later. I didn't have time to browse all the aisles, that's how fast I got it. I am contemplating using them for all other prescriptions as this pharmacy is opened 24 hours. read more

Staff are generally nice and helpful at this location. Pretty much your run of the mill Walgreens though the store itself looks like it could use an update. Still a good spot to check out weekly deals on various items around the store. Walgreens is fairly consistent with their sales. read more

Its a walgreens so not much too it. Not open 24 hours which isnt the best thing but hey there is a CVS in the corner that does! Eveyrone is very nice, needed a product that was not on display and they looked for it and brought it to me, very nice of them. Overall a clean cut place. read more

From a Photo perspective, do yourself a favor and do not order photos from here. The photo representative William was rather rude when asked how much longer my order was going to take that was placed several hours prior. After finally helping every customer in the regular line he walked over to photo desk without saying a word or apologizing for being several hrs. late with my order. THEN, when asked how much longer I'm going to have to wait, I was informed they were trying to find out where the paper was located. Complete waste of time. read more
