I needed to use the restroom. Walgreens has a nice one and I didn't have to ask anyone's permission to use it or to unlock it. That's always a plus. This store is wonderfully clean and well stocked. Was in the area and needed a few items. Store was well lit and clean. Shelves were stocked and everything lined up and on the edge of the shelves. I was so stoked when I was able to schedule two vaccine shots at this location. I arrived fifteen minutes early prior to my appointment as instructed in my confirmation email to sign in and submit the vaccination forms at the Consultation window at the pharmacy. I waited for my appointment and was called in at the scheduled time. The associate who checked me in and the one who gave me my vaccine shot were both professional and courteous. After my shot, I was instructed to wait fifteen minutes to make sure that I didn't have any side effects. I asked if I had to be seated while I waited or if it was ok to walk around the store and I was told the former. I walked around around the store and my eyes opened wide when I saw the candy aisle. My husband laughed at how excited I got. I was amazed at the large selection and variety. They had a sale of a handful of regular sized candy bars which were 4/$3 or 4/$2 with the coupon available in the March Savings book available at the entrance of the store. Initially I didn't know that I needed a coupon for the 4/$2 so several associates went out of their way to help me find the coupon. I'm all about saving money and not buying anything full price. I was very pleased with the exceptional customer service I received from the multiple associates. I felt like a VIP. Local pharmacies/retailers should get training from the associates that work here. Honestly feel that a one star review for this store is going above and beyond what it should be. Zero stars? Negative perhaps? Walk into the store and the pharmacy windows are closed. I ask the cashier at the front what's going on, and she says they're closed from 1-2 for lunch. (I wish I could close my business down in the middle of a business day for an hour! Must be nice! They reopened at 2:11pm and were moving like sloths. Had a prescription for my daughter's rash cream called in on Monday (10/24). It's Thursday (10/27) and the pharmacist says "oh, our system has been down" and she shows me this clipboard with about 15 names on it and says "these people go first". I said "it's been called in for four days. My daughter has a horrible rash on her chest. What is going on here? Maybe if you have a list of people that need their meds, you should cut your lunch break in half or something and get to work!" The pharmacist laughed and said "oh really?" And then the other technicians starting mumbling nonsense. These people don't belong in this field. Pharmacists and pharmacy techs are important parts of the community to provide a service to get us our medications. These clowns at this locations belong behind counters at gas stations. After the pharmacy manager checked my Rx and confirmed he could fill it I received 3 texts from Walgreens stating that my Rx was being processed, then approved and then ready. An additional text told me to pick it up at 5:10 PM that day. Arrived at drive thru at 6 PM and waited at least 10 minutes as very flustered pharmacy worker tried to fix the computer. My turn...I was told she wouldn't fill it because of MD being in CA (nope, he isn't) and as I persisted in asking her to look at my texts she refused to so I parked my car and went inside to get her name . I moved to the side because there were customers waiting and she called the local police. So I waited for the police. When they arrived aforementioned employee couldn't remember what I looked like. I was right there. But she screamed my name across the store. I waved at the 2 officers who claimed they'd come to hear 'my side of the story.' They were not. I realized they were not even listening...just waiting for my mouth to stop moving so they could threaten to arrest me. I hadn't realized that the aforementioned employee was Mrs. Walgreens. Photofinishing do not use. I went to the photo booth to have my photos upload for prints. It was very easy to use and fast to upload my photos from my phone. When I picked them up most of the heads of the people in the photos were cut off. the other photos were enlarged to the point it would cut out a whole person. Also they were blurred because of the change of the focus. This was my first time printing out at Walgreens. All I did was up load did not edit because I had already did this on my phone. I showed them at the counter they gave me all my money back no arguement. read more
