The other day I put online to order some eye drops for pickup. The cost of the eye drops, before tax, was $9.59. Their guideline, for a pickup order, is a minimum of $10. That was 41 cents short of the minimum required, so the order would not go through. I called and spoke to the store manager and asked if they could waive the 41 cent shortage and was told absolutely not. I called Walmart and arranged a pickup order, for the same price, without any hassle. Then I called Walgreens corporate and explain the situation. Corporate told me that's the policy. It amazes me, that a company was such low ratings, refuses to bend at all for their customers. read more

The pharmacist could do their job and utilize my insurance. He already knew that all he needed to do was override a discount that would allow my second insurance to pay the difference (I know this because he told me could.) I call my insurance and they say the same: remove the discount and secondary insurance would pay. He still refused and played dumb like he didn't know what to do. I'm now 2 weeks late due to his negligence in receiving this medication. Pick a different pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens store was closed at least 20 minutes before official posted closing hours on 11 March 2026, which disrupted a store delivery order. Posting clear signage informing of an early closure would be helpful. read more

I really appreciate the friendly service here. Jodi is always nice, helpful and fast. They are usually not too busy and I have not had to wait in line yet. Lucky to have a good Walgreens pharmacy near me. read more

I went there to pick up my prescription that was called in earlier that day and said would be ready early afternoon. I got there the prescription wasn't ready after about 10 or 12 minutes of trying to find it. I told him that I would come back in 45 minutes. I went back there waited at the window for 12 minutes. I had to wave this individual down to see if I could get some help. I was there for 17 or 18 minutes. The worst experience I have ever had in my life. I will never go back. I will switch pharmacies. I just can't believe how unprofessional they were. they would literally look at me and just walk right by. read more

I was really trying hard to find the right allergy medicine and itch relief spray or cream for my dog. Phoebe was EXCELLENT! Although she couldn't advise me on what to buy, she politely approached me to ask if I needed assistance. Pointed out where the ointments were too. I'm leaving the review because her knowledge and professionalism did not stop there. One of the registers was messing up and she was the first one who was called up to assist. The impression I got is that Phoebe is the "go to" person and it is obvious why she is. This woman needs a raise! read more

I was in line to pick up a prescription at this Walgreens at 4:45. There were several people ahead of me and I didn't get to the window until 502. They closed the window in my face and refused to serve me. They had a handwritten sign in the window That said they close at 5 o'clock. read more

My experiences with this location has been much less than to be desired over the past few years. I cannot fathom nor imagine what others have to go through that has more dire situations than mine. I am finally moving to another pharmacy, while much further from home, will save me on time with unnecessary back and forth nonsense delays. read more

Fed ex services never are available. I can't print they can't scan. Basically they're worthless and they're defensive about it. Worst Walgreens location in the city. read more

EVERY time I go I swear it will be my last. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. The only consistent thing here is the absolute lack of customer service. Always extremely slow, unfriendly, and overall incompetent which equates to a frustrating experience. I'm actually sitting on hold with the Pharmacy right now. It's been over 56 minutes with 1 other call in front of me the entire time. "We'll be with you shortly," on the recording is clearly a lie. They close in 20 minutes and I'm willing to bet I somehow just get disconnected at that time. I've heard too many excuses to count for delays or non-fulfillment of prescriptions. I've encountered employees who were not trained to properly to read insurance cards. I have presented co-pay cards they had no clue how to process, even when I handed them a clearly printed instruction sheet as well. There is light at the end of the tunnel. This is the last lone prescription I have to get here because the remainder of my family's Pharmacy business has been transferred down the street. read more

Walgreens - a phone call on the screen - Drugstores Near Me - Parkville, Missouri

Joey is such an awesome employee that works there, always willing to help anyone. (He's the one in the photo.) But that's true of nearly everyone that works there including the managers. The pharmacy staff is great! Especially Fiona! Though the pharmacy staff is very busy they always take time to answer my questions. Which has really helped me out more than once. I also always get my flu shots here due to the customer service. I do wish they (Walgreen corporate) would add one more resource, permanently, to this pharmacy. I moved all my prescriptions to this Walgreens because of the great staff. But seeing them over-worked on a regular basis when it is obvious there is a need for another position (and it can be afforded) makes me wonder not about this specific Walgreens (because they are awesome) but about their corporate headquarters and why they are willing to risk losing less loyal customers due to the pharmacy being under-staffed. It says a lot about the corporation on how they treat their employees. Back to why they get five stars: When I enter the store, whomever is working the register always greets me with a welcome and hello and offers to help me find whatever I need. The store is very clean and is usually well-stocked. These are big ones for me because that is not true everywhere. I really appreciate the staff taking care of the store. Excellent parking right next to the entrance, thankfully, with plenty of spots. Easy to get in and out, which makes it very convenient. Lastly....Love their sales! read more

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR VACCINATIONS. They are sloppy with record keeping and don't use their own portal. As important as health care information is and validating is often required for employers. Parkville, MO Walgreens is NOT the location for your important health data. read more

This review is for the pharmacy staff members that helped me a few weeks ago with a prescription. Clara the technician and Phoena pharmacist helped me so much because like many prescriptions time is of the essence. I called ahead of time to find out estimated costs and speaking to Clara I learned that for the prescription I was looking for, if my insurance didn't cover it there was a promotion from the vendor where I had to get a discount card and apply for it in the phone or online and bring the card back to bring the out of pocket to $35. That was a steal considering many other pharmacies quoted in the many hundreds of dollars for out of pocket in case my insurance didn't cover it or my deductible wasn't met yet since it's so early in the year. I first went to the drive through since I wanted to try that out, and I got the discount card and information and decided instead of waiting in drive through I would call vendor and go into the store since I wanted the Brand instead of generic they were offering. Considering also that BlueKC for some reason here was covering the Brand, but the full cost was charged for the generic. I am giving 5 stars because I have never been to a pharmacy where they help you get the best deal and also provide all the information to help the customer. As I waited I also witnessed another customer who switched insurance but needed their medicine timely so were given options on how best to get their medicine on time, check coverage with the new insurance. Usually a different pharmacy would give me a prescription and I deal with the insurance and what is covered or not. Here you will know more information or guidance before you take home a huge bill you may or may not have signed up for. read more

If you have to go to the Walgreens in Parkville, don't! Most people go for prescriptions. I find that this pharmacy is the most incompetent, slow and have the rudest personnel I have ever dealt with. Filling a prescription is impossible! They try to find issues with PXs so they don't have to fill them! May God grant you patience if you MUST go there!!! read more

I wish I knew how to give 0 stars. Anytime I call the pharmacy it takes 30+ minutes to talk to an associate. If you plan on receiving good customer service look elsewhere. The way associates treats customers is an absolute joke. I can't believe anyone would run their business or manage their employees like this. On several occasions I have spent over an hour waiting on hold just to have an associate answer and state "please hold" then be hung up on. I will be refraining from giving Walgreens anymore of my business. read more

Pharmacy is not well organized and they can't seem to keep enough people working. Very slow and often closed due to no available pharmacist.

This Walgreens pharmacy has the most horrific customer service I've ever experienced in the healthcare industry.I won't bore you with my personal experiences, just go to the 24 hour pharmacy in Liberty if you specifically need a Walgreens. (For insurance purposes as I did.) It is well worth the drive! Your prescription will be done much faster. It will actually be ready when you arrive. They will treat you with respect as opposed to scolding you for interrupting someone's me time. And your prescription will be done right the first time. Yea Liberty! Shame on you, Parkville! read more

The store is 8AM-10PM but the pharmacy is 9-9. It doesn't make sense. I would never go to Walgreens if not for the pharmacy. I'll just find a new pharmacy that is not a Walgreens. Otherwise, everyone was mostly friendly. read more

I design and order invites for same day pick up. My order was scheduled to be ready 2 1/2 hours out, great. I drive to this location which isn't the nearest Walgreens, but the nearest one for same day pickup. I arrive at 5:40 and the associate tells me she was "just about to call me" to let me know they are out of cardstock and maybe they'll be ready tomorrow. I explain I need them tonight and the associate doesn't offer to help at all, can't offer another paper to use, won't call another store to help me order. I told her I had issues using the app and had to use my home computer, and oh well, I just have to go home and start the order over somewhere else! I just don't understand why they couldn't call me sooner (nobody called me at all) when there was 2 1/2 hours to inform me?! read more

The employees there seem very nice but the pharmacist where very rude. I have gone there several times to pick up prescriptions and every time the pharmacists where lazy, rude, and took over two hours my last visit. I have even had two of my neighbors complain about the same pharmacy. read more

I was looking for a hard-to-find prescription drug for my dog. They had a quantity of 24 on hand and told me to start checking at least a week before the next refill is needed because of the availability. Carolyn was so helpful and patient - and successful in finding a significant price reduction for me. Very happy with my experience here. read more

This location's pharmacy is worst. They've refused to take calls today because they are short-staffed. How did I find that out? Well, by calling 3 times, waiting over 20+ minutes per call just to be hung up on/disconnected. So I called the store again to speak with an associate, assuming there's something wrong with the phone lines. The manager, Gary, informs me that 2 techs didn't show up so the pharmacist just puts the calls on hold and refuses to answer them. She's only filling prescriptions for people who walk up or drive through. I go to the store and the pharmacist said my order can't be filled until Wednesday, couldn't look to see if another store had it in stock, and said it be easier if i just went somewhere else. Worst customer service. Lack of communication. Taking my family of 6 to fill prescriptions down the street. Lost our business for good. read more

I have found the worst pharmacy in America. Walgreens in Parkville Missouri has been trying to fill my sons perception for over a week. The pharmacist told me that they ran out of this common medication. That was on Tuesday it is now Friday. I spoke to the pharmacist in person, they can't send the prescription to a different store. The pharmacist told me the medication MIGHT be ready next Tuesday. I'm glad my sons life doesn't depend on this medication. I will never use this or any other Walgreens again. read more

Beware of bait and switch pricing tactics if you shop here. Shelf sign says one thing but rings up completely different at register. After notifying store, they would not honor the posted price. Will not be coming back - cvs is much better. read more

LOVE THIS PHARMACY. They are so helpful and they truly always help everyone so quickly, they do need more staff. But I understand that isn't their fault and that falls on corporate. Great place to go!!! They know you by name, the pharmacy just got renovated after a fire. Love this place! read more

Parkville store. Absolutely not a place to get prescriptions filled. The worst service I have ever seen. It's been this way for over a year. The wait for a simple anti biotic is hours. I waited over 30 minutes just to give them the script from my dentist. read more

The pharmacy techs and pharmacists here are the rudest people I have ever met in my entire life & I deal with a lot of people. They never say hello or how can I help you. It is a burden that you are even there. The pharmacy techs question why I need the quantity in my refill when it is a rx written by a doctor. I wish there was a small hometown pharmacy I could get my prescriptions filled at with a little bit of class. Walgreens is the worst!!! Please go anywhere else. You are usually already under stress due to needing prescriptions in the first place & coming here does nothing to help. read more

I am done!! I have used this pharmacy for years, but no more... for the past year the service has been horrible. More than once a text saying my prescription is ready only to get to the counter and be told it is not. The personnel are rude. This pharmacy has no customer value or service. I have just moved my business and I suggest you do the same!! read more

I have to agree with a few of the previous reviewers--if I could give negative stars, I would. It is easily a 20-30 minute wait to pick up my monthly prescriptions, and something is always wrong (this last time, they spelled my name totally wrong to the point it was incoherent and couldn't be found without the Rx #). Will be transferring to CVS once my Rx runs out (which is thankfully this month). The only comfort is that other people have had the same experience I have had with them. Just horrible! read more

If there was an option for negative stars they would have received them! I have used them for much longer than I should have because I live less than a mile away. My husband and i both had to transfer everything to cvs because walgreens can not get it together. I have not been there once that they didn't have my prescription all wrong or couldn't find it. My husband received a text that his was ready for pick up and he shows up and guess what no prescription on record for him at all. I have no idea how they are able to run this place in such an unorganized manner. Save yourself the frustration and go to CVS!!! read more

I am always in and out and the staff knows me by name. Negative reviews must be from people who don't use the store often. The store has completely turned around in my opinion. read more

This joint needs serious help! They definitely need to hire more competent pharmacy staff to keep the indoor and drive-thru requests moving! Most WAGS stores take ~15 minutes to fill a script, but you will be looking at 2+hours here! For a smaller town, it's unacceptable. Drive a little farther to CVS for time and sanity savings. read more

slow!!!!!! usually have to come back 2 or 3 times from when they tell you it will be ready!

Healthcare clinic was quick and friendly! Totally the opposite of the CVS in Parkville.

so my daughter works for Walgreens and I ask her if she wouldn't mind taking my prescription bottle to the pharmacy so that I can have my medicine transferred from cvs this was about 11:30. she says no problem and takes it back to the pharmacy for me they say the call cvs and have it transferred. when she goes back after her lunch break to pick it up they say they haven't had a chance to call and have it transferred yet she says ok that she be back at the end of her shift. they say thanks and will get it taken care of, but when she goes back at the end of her shift they still haven't had a chance to call and this is at 4:30. she asks is there a problem they say no that their just busy. she leaves and we come home and relax and go out . after dinner around 7:30 she calls her pharmacy and asked if the script is ready to be picked up and the tech tells me that the pharmacist still hasn't had a chance to call and have it transferred. she gets pissed and asked to speak to the pharmacist this was what she had to say we've been so busy and I'm new and this is only my second day. so they talk and she finally calls to have my script transferred and then we went and pick it up it a span of about 20 minutes. that is just stupid and i would tell any one who listens that you should not use walgreens pharmacy on 6365 lewis dr parkville mo read more
