Pharmacy - well most of time I visit here the pharmacy tech act like they are very put out to help me fill my prescriptions. Most of them but not all of them. They get a bit rude with me sometimes when I forget to spell my name when picking up my prescriptions and make unhelpful comments along the lines of, "this would go faster if you would spell your name first next time". It just makes me cringe every time I here that. If I didn't have to do my 90 day prescriptions here I wouldn't but it's the insurance I have that makes me. On a positive note I've been helped tremendously but the pharmacists in getting my prescriptions replaced when they flying all of the place in my kitchen and I lost about 2 weeks worth of medicine. I was able to get that covered at a reduced cost because my insurance wouldn't cover it! The rest of CVS is just you average run of the mill general store with a limited selection of everyday items. This particular CVS is no different than most my only other complaint about this location is I wish they were open 24 hours. It's in a prime location to be open 24 hours so I'm not sure why they aren't but I'm sure the management and employees have no control of this and it doesn't impact my rating. read more

New kiosks in the pharmacy require the customer to enter all their info. While you are doing part of their job, the employees tell you it's faster. Employees don't care about the customers, which is probably the reason for the new system. read more

I happened in on an inconvenient day it seems. One associate disclaimed knowledge of insurance cards. The other was unconvinced by my interrupting to pay. . . Since the cvs registers don't process customer pay HB cards without associate assistance. Some associates are right on it. I'll try again later. read more

The employees at this location are friendly and helpful. Despite being very busy, they always have my family's medications ready when I need them. No complaints. read more

This seemed to be a busy location, but mayne it was the time of day. I only needed to grab a couple of things, but ended up standing in line for about 20 minutes. There seemed to be only one person there; they never opened another register. The lady was very friendly, which is nice, but added to the delay because she was very chatty. read more

Location is super close and convenient for us. Bonus! Staff at pharmacy department is excellent. I've never had a bad experience with them and they will go out of their way to answer your questions, or assist you with other recommendations. Recently, I went to pick up some medication for my daughter. Before they filled it, they told me it was going to be $124. This was for a common issue: child's ear infection. Eeeek! I asked the pharmacist if this was for a generic and he said no, that this brand does not have a generic. I asked him for another recommendation and he told me another common brand used but my doctor would have to call it in. No problem. Had my doctor call in a new scrip and within 20 minutes, I picked it up and now I had a scrip that would help for a mere $5. The location can be tricky to get in and out of if it's a busy weekend since it is situated right at the entrance to Zona Rosa, but it's typically not a big deal. read more

Your typical, clean and average CVS. It's kind of difficult to pull into and out of, as it is RIGHT by the entrance to Zona Rosa, so if there is a lot of traffic for that, just be wary and careful. read more

This CVS location is smaller then some others but they have the major of items that you will need. So I don't have any major complaints there. The hubby gets his percriptions from here & when I have had to pick them up the pharmacy seems to be a little slow, however, take your time to make sure everything is correct. We don't want to receive the wrong medicine. The front check out is usually one person which is kind of sad. :( because sometime a line forms. So you look at all the candies & chips &etc. That is at the front to make you an impulse shopper. The liquor department is small & some wines are mixed in with seasonal stuff. The card aisle is a nicely representative of all types of cards for all occassions. I believr that the items like groceries& health & beauty items you could by more economical in a different type of store but sometimes convenience is everything. read more

A great CVS-located at the entrance to Zona Rosa, right off of I-29. On one hand it's a bizarre place for a drug store, but SO many times late at night, I'll be on my way home an realize there is some random drug store product I can't live without . I can swing buy, grab it and go. One of the things they carry that is getting harder to find is Depends. (Surely I can't be serious. And don't call me Shirley) But I am. I have large dogs and the belted Depends are great for my geriatric canine population. They are super easy to put on, they stay on and are truly really absorbent. Because of the straps, they criss-cross around the tail and under to the waist area. Adult underwear products don't have the tail "fly" and underwear style items are MUCH harder to slip on a dog. These guys just strap on. At $14 for about 30 of them--it's a great way to keep my doggies comfy and accident free! I also was only able to find heating pads here. I looked at Target and Wal-Mart and they were sold out for weeks! CVS had about 8 or 10 kinds. I bought the perfect one that is in this super-soft fuzzy velour. It is washable and it is designed to wrap around your shoulders and has a little flap to warm your neck. This was EXACTLY what I needed for my stiff, sore achy neck! read more

My last two trips to this store have been abysmal. Two weeks ago the cashier demanded my phone number until I practically begged her to just let me give her money so I could leave. I gave their photo service a try just now and waited patiently in line while the cashier sorted out someone's rewards points and while another person inexcusably stood on front of his register following completion of her transaction so she could arrange items in her purse. The cashier did not ask her to make room for the next person in line. When my turn came and he learned I wanted photo service, the cashier asked me to wait until everyone else in line had been served. I waited for my turn while he inefficiently served slow customers. Making me wait until last is terrible customer service. I left without photos. read more

I received outstanding customer service from Autumn in the Pharmacy. I have been trying to refill a prescription for a few weeks going back and forth between the insurance company, the doctor, and the pharmacy. I have since ran out of the medicine, so I stopped in to see if I could try to resolve the issue and get the refill. Autumn was there to help. She got on the phone with the insurance company and wouldn't quit until she got an acceptable resolution, even after they mistakenly hung up on her. It took her 40 minutes on the phone, but finally got the result she and I was satisfied with. This result, however, requires the doctor to take action before the prescription can be refilled. So, Autumn took steps (which were approved by a supervisor) to make sure I could get through the next couple of days until the issue is fully resolved and the prescription can be filled. I realize that I could have made the phone call to the insurance company to resolve the issue myself. But instead, Autumn went above and beyond to help me and provide outstanding customer service. read more

This CVS is I the perfect location and I have always had good experiences with the staff. However, twice now I have driven away without my very common prescription that they just can't keep in stock. I called it in and was told it would have to be ordered and would be in the next day. When I arrived to pick it up, it was still on order. I always love to shop at cvs! Always thought most cashiers are the most friendly cashiers, but today at cvs prairie kansas city mo 64153 i encountered the most non smiling cashier and kinda rude didnt smile at all even at first.i accidentaly scan my husbands card and im about to use my $10 ecb from my own card to buy my kid a toy then he saidi cant use it.i got that. i asked if i can i use my card that the ecb belongs to so i can buy the item? He said i cant use it and he said "you cannot use 2 card in MY store ever again! Strong one! Got that. I understand alright? Be cool..but Can he be nicer?and hes not just a cashier he is a manager team member he said that you will expect to be the one who can talk calm and nicer to costumers named MORSAl on my receipt and JAMES in his name tag.yes no more cvs for me on this location, where no Rude James. Sorry, this guys need to learn how to smile too. I cant believe hes a manager who obviously no skilss in providing good costumer service. He wont solve you he will keep you hanging. I normally use one card coz i dont really need to use two.but this time i need diapers for my son so i use my husbands card as well which will never again.
