Although she could not process a refund she went above and beyond and called the Western Union hotline and was able to find a location that could do those services where other locations (like the King Soopers across the street at Stroh Ranch) was extremely rude and did not want to help or assist. Just went to pick up my photo order Christmas cards. The second side of card printed upside down. When I asked about getting it fixed, Danielle, one of the managers said her printer was broken and there was nothing she could do, except maybe give me a few dollars off my order, because it really wasn't a big deal that the second side printed upside down. Echoing all the other terrible reviews. This one is for the photo lab. No one was in the store and I waited and waited to pick up prints. After about 10 mins I called the store. Stood there listening to their phone ring (me calling) for about 5 more minutes. Finally gave up and went on a hunt for someone working there. There was someone working the register but that line was about a dozen people deep waiting. Finally found two people chatting. Asked if I could be helped and she sighed loudly and said ok. After spending 48 minutes on the phone queue, the techs here hung up. Then, at the store in line, another patron relayed a similar story after 30 minutes on hold. I called Walgreens corporate. This location is okay. Near a school and gas station.It's walking distance from everything. The layout of the store is pretty easy to move around. A huge selection of cosmetics and toiletries. I went in shopping for something specific. A few of the items that were advertised in the weekly were hard to find. And finding Ana employee to help was even harder. Ended up buying a few grocery items. A great BOGO deal on pickles. Also our favorite Mac and cheese was on sale which I got the last two. Not sure if the stocks low but shelf's looked pretty empty. I suppose people stocking up on food. Checking out was quick and easy and she was friendly. Some of the other reviews mentioned pharmacy which I did not experience today. This Walgreens has made me now to never do business with any other Walgreens ever. It is beyond mismanaged. The manager was a 17 year old village idiot and I'm being nice. The pharmacy techs look like Portland tweakers. Don't waist your time with vaccines or pharmaceuticals drugs. Absolutely no one at this Walgreens cares about you or your time. I needed to pick up prescriptions for kidney stones after an ER visit. It was 12:42pm. The pharmacy technician, with colored hair ( blue,pink,red etc) was so absolutely rude. He refused to fill the RX because they were going to lunch at 1:30 and he "wasn't going to cut into his break" by starting the process. I told him I need them asap as per my doctor and he absolutely ignored all my requests and refused to do it. He got the meds ready at 4pm!!! Mind you...there was no one there waiting nor was there anyone at drive thru. I've read reviews about this Walgreens location after the fact and I was astounded by how many bad reviews this location has and especially that guy. I moved my prescriptions to another pharmacy that doesn't make you wait 4 hours while suffering because he couldn't risk his lunch break that is 45 min away. Do better Walgreens and either retrain your staff or move them to a different department. read more

I have no idea how this Pharmacy stays open. I've tried them 3 times since moving to the area and never had a good experience. Four days to fill a prescription? This pharmacy gets 1 star for how they handle Covid vaccinations. I showed up promptly for my Covid booster appointment which I had made 1 month ago. The pharmacy is very understaffed and I understand that. I was willing to wait my turn, no problem. After taking more information than they needed along with the 2 page questionnaire I filled out ahead of time, they had trouble getting my insurance to go in their system. 15 min of dealing with that while the pharmacy line grew they finally said everything was in and to sit down and wait to be called for my shot. 45 minutes later, I was sitting there with others in the same situation and we hear from the back "no more shots today". WTH! Apparently the Pharmacist left and they had no one to administer the shots. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING to the people waiting patiently for their vaccinations. So unprofessional. I will not be getting my shot at this Walgreens. I advise going to a different place to get yours too. read more

Do not go here!!! It is worth the extra drive to go to another pharmacy. I recently had eye surgery and needed prescription eye drops pre-surgery. I went in and was the only person in line, it took them 20 minutes to even talk to me. Then it took another hour to fill the prescription, I was the only one there!!! Then I had surgery and post surgery was prescribed pain medication. Went to the pharmacy, waited again and then was told they could not fill my prescription until the next day. Then, post recovery I was prescribed another eye drop. Went to fill that. Waited again, when I got to the counter they said they just recieved a bunch of orders and call back in 45min. I did that, now they say they do not have my prescription. They even asked if I "have the right address." I then called my doctor to confirm the right address. Called Walgreens again and told them I had the right address. Now they have my prescription but now it was too close to closing time so "I can pick it up tomorrow." I am not sure what the deal is here but they are horrible. Do not go here, please use the next closest pharmacy and save yourself a huge headache. read more

I wish I could give this pharmacy zero stars. They lost several prescriptions (claiming they never got it when my doc had sent it over several times) so I would have to call them and then call my doc and then call Walgreens again...it was exhausting. Then they would take over a week to fill my prescriptions and never send any type of communication as to why it was delayed or when it would finally be filled. (How is this even remotely acceptable? What about people who need these medications to live? It's absolutely insane that a corporation like Walgreens would let this happen.) When I would call to check on the status I'd get the call center and sit on hold for an hour (literally and HOUR) only to get a different reason each time I'd call. Oh, and then they would bill my insurance as if they filled prescriptions THAT THEY NEVER FILLED! So when I finally canceled my prescriptions at the Walgreens and transferred everything to the Walmart pharmacy my insurance company denied filling them saying it was too soon to refill because they thought that Walgreens had filled them (but they hadn't). So the tech at Walmart pharmacy had to spend a ridiculous amount of time convincing the insurance company that Walgreens had not filled those scripts. It was an absolute mess. Oh, and and then there's the issue with the pharmacy just closing randomly for days at a time. No warning, no info on their website, just a sign posted on the drive-thru window saying they were closed for staffing issues. Sorry, but corporate Walgreens should have stepped in and moved other employees to this pharmacy to cover the staffing issues or closed the retail side of the store so that the pharmacy could remain open. A pharmacy isn't a luxury -- these meds are necessity for people. Sometimes they're a life or death situation. So to just arbitrarily close down and leave all their customers helpless is absolutely unacceptable and unethical. And the pharmacy tech at Walmart learned (when he was calling to straighten out my insurance issue) that around 20 stores across the US had just closed like this. Absolutely unbelievable! This is the absolute worst pharmacy (poor customer service and shady business practices) that I have ever done business with. I should have transferred to a different pharmacy long before I did. I spent many years going to the Parker/Stroh Walgreens due to its location & drive thru option. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any pharmacy. I have several medications I need to have filled each month, they come up for refill at various times throughout the month. Therefore I dealt with this pharmacy several times a week. This is NO exaggeration, 9 out of 10 times, there was an issue with my prescription. It wasn't ready when they'd said. They were out of stock. They wouldn't refill it until the exact day of the refill due date - AND THEN - they'd be out of stock - leaving me without vital medicine and causing me extreme illness/side effects for 2-4 past the due date of the refill. They were a nightmare to deal with over the phone. They were never willing to work with me to ensure these things didn't happen in the future. They treated me like a drug user and SO MUCH disrespect and disregard of me, my side effects or doing their jobs the way a pharmacy is intended to do their jobs. They acted as though THEY were my doctors, yet the ONE time there was actually two medications that I was picking up which should NEVER be taken together, they didn't even catch it - I found out on Google after they'd proven time and time again I could not trust them for anything. They never ever kept their word. One staff member would say one thing, I'd be made to call back and another staff member would tell me something else, each month - their "rules" completely changed for how they filled prescriptions, it was like dealing with a totally different company and staff members every single time I spoke with them (which was approximately 1-3+ phone calls per each of my 6-7 refills, per month, even though I'd do as much as humanly possible electronically - to avoid being stuck on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time - as well as being subjected to their rude and unprofessional staff members). It was just the poorest excuse for a pharmacy, especially such a large, nationwide pharmacy. I finally decided to go to the pharmacy across the street (even though I have limited mobility and it requires me to park and walk all the way to the back of the supermarket, that's how terrible my experience was with Walgreens, I didn't even care about the discomfort, pain and inconvenience it caused me as long as I could use a functioning, consistent, reliable pharmacy to manage all my medications accordingly..). And I have NEVER been so thankful to finally be dealing with an organized and professional pharmacy in my life! I have eliminated ALL of these huge problems from my life that caused me serious anxiety every month while using Walgreens. Before I changed to my current pharmacy, I'd even made attempts to contact the store manager, the pharmacy manager, the branch manager and even the corporate office and not a single one of them called me back, ever... I would never recommend this location, nor ANY other location of Walgreens pharmacy to anyone I know, ever! Worst pharmacy experience of my entire life! If you value your peace of mind, and have a great appreciation for common sense, do NOT use the Parker/Stroh Ranch Walgreens at a minimum. I just had your pharmacist argue with me on the phone. Extremely rude. A MONTH ago my 2 prescriptions were sent in by my doctor. I called two weeks ago, to be told 1 was ready, and the other was not in stock, and someone would call me when it was... two weeks go by, no phone call. So, I call this morning to be told my 1st prescription was sent back and the other isn't in stock, and that nothing was processed in the system. Yesterday I received vaccine at this location and the pharmacist that administered the shot was extremely rude. I had told her I wanted the shot in the right arm but she used an alcohol swab on my left arm. When mentioned I wanted the shot in the right arm she angerly threw the alcohol swab towards her cart, quickly grabbed another cotton ball and swabbed my right arm and then JABBED the shot into my arm - - in a location above the area she had swabbed. She was curt and barky to the person in front of me, and I assume she was the same to the person behind me. Don't let her attempt to ruin your day - - go somewhere else. read more

Worst pharmacy experience you can possibly have. They not only have given me the wrong prescription on 2 separate occasions but they are now shorting me on my prescriptions by several pills. Every time I try to fill it's hassle because they don't seem to know how to work their own system. On top of it, they are the most incompetent and rude people to work with. I was treated with a very demeaning tone/manner by a Pharmacist named Rebecca as well as her mocking me and treating me with complete disregard!! Rebecca abruptly took over my call with another employee that was actually trying to help with my prescription! She then proceeded to blatantly lie to me about policies that do not exist and refused to fill my prescription....without even giving me a referral to anyone and therefor continuing to delay my medical treatments! I have been on hold with the pharmacy for over 2 hours. When I called in I had 2 calls ahead of me. After 45 minutes I went to 1 call in front of me. now I've been "next" for about 40 minutes. I know its hard to get full staff right now and I am willing to be a little extra patient, but this is ridiculous. I don't have issues quite this bad with any other Walgreens. If I could I would give them no stars. That pharmacy is the worst. Some prescriptions were missing pills which they would not correct, two scripts I received twice in two different days. Once I was charged for one script and they gave me three. Rebecca the manager, and the pharmacist are so rude and act as tho you are a nuisance taking up their precious time. They are impatient and do not listen to your questions or help in any way. The last three months my doctor had to call otherwise I would not have received my medication. Extremely frustrated with the Walgreen's Pharmacy at the Stroh and Parker Rd. location. Since using the store over the past ~ 1.5 years, numerous situations of delayed medication, less than helpful or caring staff and an "excuse of the day" for why a prescription has an issue. The pharmacy, in particular, seems to suffer from being understaffed yet I have not seen an effort to improve. Employees seem to lack compassion for customers as observed in both how I have been treated and in the treatment of others I see doing business at the pharmacy. Multiple times I have had a prescription called in to this pharmacy and waited up to about 2 hours for it to be filled - being told they had not received the prescription. Upon asking them to further check, I was told that "the system had not yet imported the prescription" thereby requiring me to wait longer. Today won the prize - stopped in to fill hospital discharge medications for a family member following surgery and was told they were understaffed and it would be a minimum of a 4 hour wait!!! I asked if they may be able to make an exception for the pain medication prescription as the recipient was due to need the med in about 2 hours - they refused to accommodate. I took my business elsewhere and proceeded to log a complaint with Walgreen's headquarters (if for no other reason than to vent). All in all, this pharmacy operates under extremely poor management. Absolutely no understanding of what customer service is. read more

I work for a doctor's office. I attempted to call in a prescription to this location, and was left on hold for 15 minutes, during which time the phone was picked up and immediately placed on hold again 3 times. The individual who finally got around to connecting me to the pharmacy had to physically walk over and tell them to pick up the phone, and he sounded like he hated his life. Employees only get this unhappy and inefficient because of chronic mismanagement, and understaffing. You'd be better off closing the store than allowing its reputation to deteriorate so badly. read more

Laziest employees on the planet. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I was just there for 45 minutes waiting on pictures with my 2.5 year old and my 1 year old... In that time, I witnessed an older man awkwardly wandering around the makeup department. He explained his situation and asked at least two female employees for help - both of which said they don't wear makeup and would not help him. He asked me for help- he explained that he was taking a medication that made his face bright red and he had company pictures that evening- he just needed help finding something that would cover the red! I helped him pick something and he went on his way. I'm appalled that no one would take 2 minutes to help him. Secondly, in the commotion that it was to get out of the store, my wallet fell onto the ground. Now, I was just there for 45 minutes with my two screaming boys. Several store employees saw me - I was hard to miss. You need a phone number to order photos, as well as a name. They could have EASILY grabbed my name and number from my photo order, gave me a jingle and politely notify me that my wallet was there - which they did not do. I was all the way home when I noticed it was gone and I had to haul me and the kids back to Walgreens just to collect my belongings. Talk about NOT going the extra mile. A female employee by the name of Courtney (I believe she spelled it Kortni) sat around eating chocolate bars and could not have been more rude. read more

I really hate writing bad reviews but this pharmacy is in need of some personnel changes. I am a regular customer and a very considerate person, and I'm getting really tired of being treated so badly by the staff. The older white haired gentleman (pharmacist) clearly sets the tone for his staff as he is regularly rude and inconsiderate. It honestly really seems like he hates his job, I'm not sure why he does it. Unfortunately, his inability to lead clearly trickles down to his staff who are stressed, short with customers, and unorganized. Please consider bringing new leadership into this pharmacy. Hands down rudest pharmacists I have ever met. It is not just one person but just about anyone I have dealt with there has been completely uncaring and cold. I have experienced multiple prescription delays due to them refusing to coordinate anything on their end despite their e-mails they send saying that they will in fact be coordinating a solution. There is always a major delay no matter how many customers they have. I have sat at the window with zero other customers being helped watching a pharmacist eat his lunch at his station while ignoring the fact that I had been waiting there for over 5 minutes. Pathetic. If I could've given it NO stars I would've. I haven't tried to get a prescription from Walgreens in over 10 years and now I remember why. I had to look up what the requirements are to fill a prescription. Obviously the pharmacist is incompetent to know the REAL regulations when it comes to filling out a prescription, and wants to control what the Dr can and can't do like a typical big pharma outfit. They refused to fill my prescription because it wasn't on what they termed was a "legal" prescription notepad size paper. She said that the paper that I had, which was a full size 8.5 x 11.0 in with the Dr. s Office on it in the header, with their signature, was NOT the correct size paper, and that the DR's signature was invalid because of the "paper size", NOT because there was a lack of a LEGAL signature. According to https://deadiversion.usdoj.gov/21cfr/cfr/1306/1306_11.htm there is NO guideline or rule as to the kind of paper that is needed to fill the prescription, and that as long as it met with the proper legal guidelines that the prescription should've been filled out.
