This time I get a notice that they are auto refilling my prescription. They are refilling it for 21 pills rather than 90 as usual. Once again I call to find out what is going on. I am told that I am on "Save a trip" plan. That way all of your prescriptions align so you only have to come in once rather than a number of times for all of them. I explained that I did not sign up for save a trip plan and I did not want the save a trip plan. So to "save a trip" I have to come in 5 times for that one prescription. Why would Walgreens make it that inconvenient for the customer. I understand that some of this may be corporate. Problem is Walgreens makes it so tough to contact them for complaints. They have contact me somewhere on Walgreens website. When it is finally found it loops you all over never getting done what you need to. Shame on you Walgreens. Charles R. So, I decided to do the whole 6 AM online Walgreens stalking for appointments. I was able to rock two appointments for my parents, one right after the other, and was able to do the same for their second appointments. They walked in, presented their already filled out paperwork, and were in and out before their scheduled appointments. There were no crazy lines and no overbooked appointments. They raved about the politeness of the staff, how the pharmacy ran like a well-oiled machine, and the painless shots. Following their rave reviews I also booked my vaccine appointments here, and everything they said was true. Staff were even super appreciative that I previously filled out my paperwork (which you need to do, people - they are rocking all these vaccine appointments on top of their already busy schedules!). I gave them on Christmas Eve, trusting that a major retailer would not sell fraudulent products. A few days later, when one of my daughters tried to use her gift card, we were told at Sephora that the card was FAKE with a $0 balance. What should have been a happy holiday moment turned into confusion, disappointment, and stress for my children. Christmas gifts are supposed to be special -- instead, my daughters were left feeling embarrassed and heartbroken because Walgreens sold us counterfeit gift cards. When I contacted Walgreens customer service, I was treated with complete indifference. They were dismissive, uninterested, and clearly did not care that my family lost money due to a scam that happened inside their store. I was told it was "not their responsibility," and the claim was closed with no real investigation or concern. Sephora confirmed the cards were not legitimate -- real Sephora gift cards have 16 digits, while the ones sold to me had only 14 digits. That means Walgreens allowed fraudulent gift cards to be sold directly to customers. Because Walgreens refused to take responsibility, I was forced to file a police report. That should never be necessary for something purchased at a trusted pharmacy. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE. Walgreens will not protect you if you get scammed. Their customer service does not care that they ruined a family's Christmas. This experience destroyed our trust in Walgreens and turned what should have been a joyful holiday into a stressful and upsetting situation.
