I'd like to preface this by saying I've never gone to the pharmacy here. So my review is based solely on the store. I did notice that the line did for the drive through was LONG and moved solely. We've been going here for years. Whenever we're in the area, it's our go to for our drug store needs. Since it's walking distance from the Holiday Inn, it provided a convenient place to get basic needs. The store is clean and organized. Most items that I looked for were on the shelves. They also always have sales on things at seasons end, just like other Walgreens stores. read more

What a nightmare of an experience , I asked them To transfer a prescription since I was ill and in death vallley . The employee was very rude and told me it would be 72 hours or less for a common antibiotic . She said she would call me back if there was problems after driving 2 hours I found they had not even transferred the prescription Nor notified me they did not . I have been a customer at Walgreens in Pahrump since they opened. I had received excellent care all these years, and had been very loyal to them. Today unfortunately, I called and was dealing with Michaela. I cannot remember when I had been treated so rudely. I am greatly disappointed in her "service" and I'm shocked that she's working at a Walgreens that is known especially for the great service. When I requested to speak to the pharmacist directly, she would not transfer me. She said that he was on another call. I said I would be happy to wait. She very rudely told me if I wanted to talk to them I would have to call back. She even indicated that if I was unhappy with her service I could go elsewhere. If you are going through the drive-through for the pharmacy pickup, prepare to wait a while. The line was pretty long (there were a few cars). The line goes pretty slow. I'm not sure, if it was this one, but one of the prescriptions was not ready, which meant another return trip to the drive-through line. Small town, one or two lights, one major street, a few casinos, if there is a chain store, there is one, I get it (and hopefully, you can envision it too). When we visit my hubby's elderly grandmother, she has a long list of to-do's (which means about five or six visits to different stores and pharmacies- she has specifics to a T). read more

I called and ordered my furosemide refill of "three tablets." They said it would be ready the next afternoon. I waited until the next evening and sat in the drive through for nearly an hour. The only person working all the customers told me they didn't have it because that Rx is filled in Phoenix and sent to them. So tomorrow I will have to take 12-mile trek back to the store to get one of the most common medications on earth. This is a medication that could be life threatening if you are out of it. It's almost laughable, " three lasix tablets coming from Phoenix, Az" because this drug store doesn't have any drugs. I have used Walgreens for years, but I have had more problems at this Walgreens since I moved here. This pharmacy is grossly understaffed. I will be considering a new pharmacy when my medicare renewal comes up in the fall. read more

Worst place in town to order prescriptions from. Went in over a week ago to have 4 prescriptions ordered. Checked in yesterday to see if prescriptions where available for pickup still didn't have the doctor name correct or all prescriptions even ready for pickup. Was told everything will be ready tomorrow (the next day). Called in today to be told prescriptions won't be ready until Monday, this is after they told me everything would be ready today and after I informed them to be refilled a week ago. I love stopping at Walgreens, sometimes they have the neatest Christmas items and sometimes great last minute discounted stuff that is usually half off or more. The store was not that busy, one girl walked past us 3 times and said "Are you finding everything ok? Are you serious? 3 times? Either they are told to do this or she forgot she had already asked us. Then another walks by and asked the same thing! really? Its Walgreens not Macy's!!! Small enough store to find things. Good customer service just a bit over the top. Unless it was because it was slow they wanted something to do. We found the store to be clean but a lot of items that they had on sale buy one get one 50% off there was only one left on the shelf. The pharmacy is under staffed. The wait inside and the drivethru takes a really long time. If you call, the wait is so long you'll just hang up. Go somewhere else for your prescriptions. Smith's is a good choice. read more

We called CVS for a few questions about getting a Flu shot. We waited on the phone twice each time about 11 minutes. I called Walgreens & waited for 1 minute A sweet girl with a puffy balled headband welcomed Tim & I. We filled out 1 paper and was approved for our Flu Shots. Laura helped me to get the insulin I needed when the prescription was wrong, calling the on call doctor twice and not giving up even though her pharmacy didn't have the correct insulin and had to transfer the prescription to Walmart. She's totally an example of what customer service is all about (unlike CVS ). Yea! Laura! read more

Worst pharmacy EVER! They are ALWAYS understaffed and have at least a half an hour wait time. But it's not their time being wasted, they get paid to stand around and do nothing. Drive through is the worst. You call for service if no one is at the window but when they finally answer they tell you they'll be with you shortly. TEN MINUTES LATER...... They seriously need to hire more people, no joke. It would be nice to have more than one person running the registers, phones and drive through window. Get your shit together Walgreens. read more

RT is not a well man. He has medication that he needs.. In his haste to get down w/the ride to Vegas he forgot his. He called home. Got the attendant to find his meds. He got the pharmacists on the phone and got them to take the bottle w/ one pill missing and fill a new prescription in Pahrump for the remaining pills. He got his attendant to drop off the old pills. We got to this Walgreen's and in just a short 45mins..... RT had what he needed. Thanks to whateva' system it is that makes this possible. read more

Really confused communication there, the gal that just showed up at the photo department and did not introduce herself after I hit the help button for the discount seemed like she may have just came from a eastern block country or the Russian Gulag. I recently had a few prescription to fill..MD sent request to Walgreens. After almost two weeks one has not been filled (insurance issues)..they blame MD -- BUT they have no documentation of when they called MD, and they expect the patient to go back and forth until resolved..after a handful of calls-that did no good..I called my insurance provider and filed a complaint..they are handling it now..and I switched pharmacies . read more

Debra, at the pharmacy, possibly the pharmacist, was so wonderful to my husband and myself today. We were picking up medications for both of us (getting old is not for wusses!) and both also needed flu vaccines. The pharmacy was busy, as always, and there were other people waiting to get vaccines. Although frustrated and run ragged, Debra answered all our vaccine questions, including whether I could get the pneumonia vaccine at the same time as the flu or have to come back. She was professional, knowable and very kind. I can only give her good reviews and wish her the best under the trying times she will certainly face in the future. All the pharmacies in Pahrump are always busy and horribly understaffed! I hope that Debra's supervisor and Walgreens appreciate how special she is. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I got from a "so-called" assistant manager! Her name is Shannon! But before I get to that I want to say I absolutely loved going to this Walgreens I have never had an issue the pharmacy is great they are always so accommodating (and I would hope so I spend thousands on prescriptions) but anyway so I go in Friday night to drop off two packages for FedEx. And excuse me but this BITCH Shannon scans my packages doesn't bother asking me if I needed a receipt and then tells me the tracking number is just as good.. ( and that maybe for most but I need the receipt as it was for my work) and when I told her I needed it and why didn't she ask me she says " well nobody ever wants a receipt" she was very rude and thinks she is hot shit! Well guess what Shannon your not! Oh and she never did send my packages out if she did it would of been updated! Absolutely disgusting trash! She's gotta go! Everyone is entitled to a bad day. However most of the time I go there for prescriptions, it seems that the entire staff is having a bad day. Last trip in, I spent 20 minutes in the drive through. When I rang the bell, I was told to wait a minute. Not asked. Pricing is ok. Having 3 separate insurance companies, a new prescription is hell. I advise them of the insurance, primary, secondary, etc and they continually screw it up. It takes several times explaining to them the order. Once it is complete, it goes from a $75 prescription to $7. Short handed or not, I have taken my business elsewhere. As I said, we are all entitled to bad days but they seem to keep coming for the Pharmacy staff at the Pahrump Walgreens. Just an extra step to ask, or even say please would have kept me there. read more

I have a problem with the way Walgreens treats some of there pharmacy customers. If you are a decent, civil person, who is honest and seriously injured and have chronic pain, why do you have to put up with all the extra curricular from the manager? I've being on the same medication for twelve years, and I am able to live a decent life and enjoy some activities. I was a victim of a driver that went to pass and hit me head on. My injuries were, compound fracture of the femur in three places, both of my tibbia bones fractured, my ankle fracture, my metatarsil bone in my foot was sticking out, all of my ribs were powder, my shoulder was broken, my left arm, my right hand, all of my digits were dislocated, I was purplr from the cheeks down from blunt forsce trauma. I suffered brain trauma, broke my collarbone, fractured my lr disk in my back, I have chronic pain and have just got done with surgery number five in four years and a halve. I fractured my skull, frayed my nerves and am not able to wlak sometimes. For me my medicine works fine and I am responsible with it. Why can't they teach compassion to some of these people like the manager at Walgreens who doesn't know me but wants to give me hardtime anyways. I am upset and I have barely any family. Before the accident I had a bad back injury lifting weights, that was my fault which lead to seeing a specialist for six years without a problem until he passed away. To the manager at Walgreens what is and what isn't are easy to get confused sometimes. I might look normal, but if my long sleeves and pants are off, you can see all the deformities to my legs and back. Please sir I just want to pick up my meds go straight home and be with my remaining family and not have to get my life all twisted up because of a manager who has a problem that needs addressing. Experience counts but so does learning from the past and present. read more
