It has been operating during COVID and continues to operate as of today, 1/6/21. My Government backed insurance came and this year my access to certain pharmacies has changed. I walked out of my pharmacy of 20 years after they rudely ignored my questions and pretended I was the problem. I called my Insurance and was given another pharmacy that was within driving distance. This happened to be Family Medical Pharmacy. I stopped in around 1 pm on a week day and was instantly greeted by not 1, but EVERY employee in the establishment! I explained my situation to them and within minutes they were taking down my information, on the phone with my doctor, and providing me a comfortable (and cozy) place to wait. The entire experience was what I had grown up with in small-town WNY. It was friendly, caring, fun, welcoming, safe, and I left feeling like I mattered. About 2 days later I woke up to a missed call and a voice mail. It was from the owner of Family Medical Pharmacy, welcoming me as a new customer and asking if there was anything he could do personally to make my experiences even better! WOW! Karen was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. She helped me find a completely different brace which happened to be over-the-counter. And economical in price. Lucky me! I found much relief with this simple pull on knee brace. I've been using it since I left the store couple days ago. It has reduced my pain level and dysfunction. I really was impressed by the Customer Service and knowledge of the staff here. As well, I bought a shoe insert at the same time.
