Honestly , so happy to have stumbled upon Renew on a recent Elmwood shopping excursion. Renew Bath and Body is a beautiful bath and body boutique that carries a wide variety of eco friendly , natural products from bath salts (the kind for the bath tub !) to bath bombs , soap , lotion , essential oils , shaving kits for men and so much more ! My friend and I found ourselves losing track of time here because there are so many amazing products to choose from . The staff as well as one of the owners that we met were helpful and friendly . There is an adorable chihuahua , Barbara Jean, that also works here :) I was especially loving the Savannah Bee line , and the Whish line (check out the body butter-amazing). I bought a half dozen bath bombs that travel safely in biodegradable egg cartons -very cute . I will say, a couple f the bath bombs were pretty light on scent , others were stronger . Maybe the staff can inform you if you want a lighter or heavier scent , they were very helpful . Make sure to check in on Yelp , there may be an offer for you for doing so. I should have read the reviews before placing an online order. I also had the experience of placing an online order, getting charged, and never receiving my product. The phone number is out of service, the email bounced back, and no one was inside the locked store except for a dog. Very disappointed. I stopped in Renew to buy a gift for a friend and I was promptly greeted by a happy chihuahua and the store owner. Yaaay for another adorable shop dog on Elmwood! The owner was very helpful, showing me the products and telling me about the lines even if some of it did go over my head! Renew carries shampoo, face wash, scrubs, lotion, even products for dogs. The scents of all the lotions I looked at were gentle, real, nothing overwhelming, which I really appreciate. The raspberry smelled like raspberry! The mangosteen smelled like mangosteen (I think? I've never actually smelled a live mangosteen). Prices were fine and the store layout was easy to navigate. The store is definitely welcoming in a genuine way and the amount of lines they carry in the space is quite impressive. I'll be back for a body wash once the Christmas season is over. read more

I was ensured a quality facial product last year. My face was like sandpaper and I was led to believe this product was higher end. I demanded higher end product. Entitled perhaps! I couldn't articulate my needs or read warning labels due to using way too much low quality moisturizer from a low quality shop. So annoying! Great place to shop for many natural products. Great alternative to the usual hum-drum products I am used to purchasing. The products are better quality with comparable prices. I am partial to the Savannah Bee products...love the natural ingredients. Great first impression when I shopped here at Christmas time... the staff was so helpful, but not pushy. Although, the second time I went to shop here, I was somewhat disappointed when I arrived and the store was closed, as I do not live close to the Elmwood Village area. The internet listed opening time at 11am and I arrived at 11:10. I went home and ordered my products online and was pleasantly surprised when I received my products in the mail the very next day. I was so excited to check out this shop, as my brother saw these awesome Buffalo's that were painted in the Bills and Sabres colors. He decided he wanted them as his birthday gift for his new house! On 2/7/2015 we went into the store and purchased 2 of them, we were told that they would be ready in 2 weeks as the owner was sick. Then after 1 month we received and email that stated it was too cold to paint the buffalo, so we would have to wait. Then we NEVER heard anything. So FINALLY on the weekend of 4/18, we went into the store and were told they still weren't done, the ower said they would be done on Thursday, still we didn't hear anything. On 4/25 we went to the store at 10:45am (per website they were to be open 10-5) but they were closed, I called left a message and never of received a call back. So I called back at one and the girl had to call the owner. She called and then stated they were not done and that the weather was not above 50 degrees, mind you it was above 50 degrees on that Saturday, and the weekend before. So I wanted a full refund. Today I go to get the refund and again get there at 10:15am and what a shock the store was not open again. So I had to go back at one, when the store was open but it was locked and I had to wait outside the store to hope someone came back. Finally the owner comes back from walking his dog. This whole experience has been a JOKE! DONT EVER ORDER ONE FROM THIS STORE AS THE OWNER HAS NO INTENTION OF EVER PAINTING ONE AND PROVIDING YOU WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT. They made you make pay full price, and you have to follow up. Thankfully I was able to get a full refund, however if I didn't follow up they most likely would have kept the money and we would never had received out product. Thanks for ruining my brothers birthday gift. I strongly suggest no one even thinks of purchasing one of these from this store. We waited 3 months and received nothing but a headache read more

this store is beautiful and carries some truly wonderful bath and body supplies. the owners are both so friendly/helpful and so is their cute little dog. the only complaint i would have is that when the owners aren't there, the help they have can be kind of aloof until you demonstrate to them you are serious. i know you don't want to waste time on customers who are in and out or be overbearing like the mall, but i shouldn't have to have to outline my skin care regime for you to take my shopping seriously. otherwise, everything is great and ive actually shopped there multiple times and love every product. read more
