Two words: Mystery boxes! These delightful $7 boxes of sheer joy are a game-changer if you need a gift for a lady in your life. I originally bought one for myself and it contained a ramekin sized trial of body butter and body scrub, and a BEAUTIFUL bar of soap with swirled colors or blue and green and yellow. It looked like something that swam straight out of a mermaid cove. I immediately went back and bought one for my niece. I love the products and service at this store. I'm happy to see that they've expanded their product line offering new products! I have very sensitive skin and many allergies and have never had a problem with any of their products. I've had so many people ask me what kind of laundry soap I use. They have a wide range of fragrances, but you can get unscented too. The customer service here is great too! Very personable and helpful. Most products have samples you can try before purchasing. It's all about our body and well being. Buff City Soap creates products that are not only free of harsh chemicals, detergents and animal fats, but also everything smells delightful.  'Buff' isn't short for Buffalo, but interestingly and fortunately, this franchise found its way to our area.  "Buff Soaps are like snowflakes, no two are just alike." It's hard to believe, but in fact all soaps are handmade daily on site and you can see why.  Treat yourself or someone you like. The store in Clarence is very bright and spacious. It's a great environment for relaxed shopping. Everyone who works there is super patient and will answer any question, at least that was my experience.  Their website is very informative and easy to navigate. That's where I went first after receiving by mail a generous coupon for a free, full size bar of any soap. Being skeptical at first, I learned more about what they offer and I couldn't wait to check everything in person. It's not only about a bar of soap. You'll be surprised to see so many varieties and range of products available.  Usually I'm not into smelly cosmetics, but this time I got intrigued and will give it a try. My first choices were bestsellers, Narcissist (Peachwood and Me Time) and Island Nectar (Passionfruit and Ocean Breeze). I'll admit, the free bar of soap coupon drew us into this fun store. The delightful smell of hand-crafted soaps and bath bombs is incredible and pleasing. An enjoyable experience on a dreary winter day when it's bitter cold and you need a pick me up! My teen daughter and I enjoyed sniffing our way through the aisles! Mind you, we had to life up our face mask to do this. It's delightful for the eyes too - so colorful, artsy. I really liked the swirls of different colors in one bar of soap. Sensory overload! Birthday bath bomb and soap making classes would make a fun party experience for your child or group of fun-loving adults. They have a soap making "kitchen" of sorts with blenders and racks. You can book a party at this location. Being their products are plant based, cruelty and animal fat free, I this is an environmentally sensitive business. We liked that. We often shopped the The Body Shop for this very reason. But The Body Shop closed doors in the Walden Galleria Mall recently. They also make and sell environmentally conscious shower scrubs and fizzies, laundry detergents, and foaming hand soaps. They have a special offer of 6 products for $30. You can mix and match any 6 of their bath and shower products for $30. A good idea for gift-giving. Otherwise $7-$9 per bar of special soap is rather pricey. Cool little shop for your sensory pleasure (at least mine anyway). I don't use bar soap ever so I can't speak on how it smells or lathers while using... But I've gotten a few bars as gifts for women in my life and they always love them! I find ones with names and appearances that go with the occasion or match their persona. They smell really good and are really pretty ... but they also have plenty of masculine options as well. I also want to add ... this is not just a locally owned shop. They have many stores in different states ( not sure about other countries). When they first opened, I thought it was just a locally owned shop because of the name "Buff City" LOL!!! Love this place! All of the products are wonderful. I love the laundry detergent, the dry oil and the bar soaps the most. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their scents or products. Took my niece to a bath bomb class. It was well done and she enjoyed it. These products are also great for gifts!! read more
