I was looking for a place to even out my asymmetrical lips (my left side is much fuller than my right). I had lip injections once before and it wasn't a great experience as I bruised terribly and the product fell low and I kept biting them. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Desai and he was wonderful. He spent a significant amount of time looking at my face and explained to me that bruising and falling product does happen, but he used a cannula techno which reduces bruises and swelling. He numbed and started the injections. He was gentle and I loved my lips immediately. (He chose Juvederm for my lips). Although the cannula technique was a little more intense than just injecting the lips, I completely agree it's much better for swelling and bruising. I'm writing this the next day and I hardly have any bruising which is insane! All in all I'm really happy. I will be back and I will get more of their great skincare services. It's a smaller day spa, with a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The waiting room is nice and bright, everyone is friendly, and Monica is definitely a professional who knows her trade. I first knew I liked her when they offered the bed warmer, and was sold when she spoke science to me. LOL! She really takes her time to get to know you, your skin, and your concerns. She educates you about what could be causing it, what the underlying issues might be, and how she can help and how you can help maintain the results and care for your skin at home. Before proceeding with the Silk Peel, she took care to explain how it worked on a superficial level AND molecularly, and brushed my arm with the device so I knew what to expect to feel before she began work on my face. I could see results IMMEDIATELY after, in both texture and firmness/hydration of my skin. Over the past 6 months I have gone to him for both Acoustic Shockwave Therapy along with Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy for low testosterone. The results I have achieved from both have been nothing short of amazing too me. When I started seeing him my Total T was 179, and Free T was 39. Now I am seeing my numbers look like Total T of 771 and Total Free of 210. As a result of this and the ASW treatments I feel like a 20 year old again.
