I arrived at my appointment early and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The decor is so chic and calming, it really sets the tone for your appointment. I was unsure what to book for my skin type but Jenna and I discussed the goal I am trying to achieve for my skin and was able to help answer any questions I had to choose the right treatment. I had a Chemical Peel done. Let me tell you it was the most painful treatment I have ever had, my skin literally felt like it was in fire and so raw, BUT Jenna helped take the pain away instantly and helped me feel so relaxed. PAIN IS BEAUTY EVERYONE! Jenna is probably the sweetest person I have ever met and she is so knowledgeable about skin care. Everything started fine at first, nobody else would remove a small cyst from my eyebrow except this clinician (Dr. Schultz). The consult lasted 1.5 minutes as he looked, said "Yep I can remove that" and set the surgical appointment. Seemed easy enough and he was nice enough too. During the next visit, he and his surgical tech were laughing and bickering about the Goo Goo Dolls, Alexa speakers, and gambling at the casino which seemed odd but fine at the time. That is until he cut NEXT to the (1cm wide) cyst and then couldn't find it on my eyebrow and began to complain about how busy his day was... I had to reassure him that it was there and after 20 minutes of mushing my face down, he cut another incision and found it (surprise). He sutured me up as quickly as he could and then rushed out of the room and on to the next patient, I suspect, without even offering a mirror. Immediately following the procedure, I realized how tight the sutures were and had to remove one to avoid a largely protruding scar. When I asked if there would be any follow up, they responded with "let it heal for 6 months to a year and then come back if you want scar reduction surgery". Within the next few weeks I still couldn't feel parts of my nose and upper forehead, and nearby touch results in sharp referred pain on my face. When I asked him about this, he became upset and showed me a cartoon diagram of facial nerves from Google to say it is impossible. This is where I explain that I understand the nervous system quite well and I don't appreciate my concerns being dismissed as a lie. This destroyed any trust I had left and so I did not follow up to have him attack my face again. Ultimately, I began getting some feeling back but (4 years later) the touch sensitivity has never gone away and I still have a V-shaped scar on my eyebrow. This could likely have been avoided if the clinician paid closer attention to his work and less on the cocktail dress his tech was wearing (it was cheetah print and he made several comments about it during the procedure). Yes, it is many years late to leave this review but this experience has never left me. I am reminded of it every single time I look in the mirror. If this review motivates someone to find a better option for even a simple minor procedure, then it is worth it to me.

Call office, say put surgery on hold, till they could give me a cost est. No return calls regarding estimate, made a couple more calls over week or so for estimate, never even received a call back. Believe my calls were sent to Answering Service even during business hours So never received cost estimate on unknown surgery, gave up. Have since received treatment (private pay), from an absolutely terrific Dr with a really great staff

One of the biggest pluses to this program is if you start gaining weight back, you can simply go back on the weight-loss eating program to get yourself back...and it's so much easier to lose 7 pounds than 15lbs!! Having that as a safety measure, to me, is huge since keeping the weight off is harder than losing it. Also, outside of the initial fee, you only pay for the food and supplements. Polly, the IBCLC and shop owner made sure we knew what to do and also knew when/how to get in touch and get help if we needed it once our babies arrived. My baby arrived and I in fact did need help from someone experienced!! We got there and our baby had made a big mess of herself on the car ride over. Polly had a changing table set up for us to use and I was able to weigh my baby before and after she ate to determine how much milk she was actually "transferring." Polly helped us determine what could be making breastfeeding difficult and worked with us to make sure it would work! We walked away with a care plan and I felt empowered. I still have 3 more follow up visits that were also included in the first consultation. It was a great resource AND IT WAS COVERED BY MY HEALTH INSURANCE! I didn't have to try and figure anything out, I just brought my health insurance card with me and Polly and Mary Jo took care of everything. I can't recommend Baby's Sweet Beginnings enough.

Dr. Cukierski, who is a specialist in Neuromusculoskeletal medicine (NMM), appeared in the ad. I had not had my body adjusted in quite a few years and really needed to change that - my back and neck often tighten up on me. His practice accepts most insurance plans, including mine, which means I get the care I need for a small copay. His staff is very welcoming and they make sure all of your concerns are addressed before Dr. Cukierski enters the room. I will say that he has the best bedside manner you can ask for in a physician. He is beyond competent and will make you feel phenomenal by the time you're finished with your appointment. If you have chronic pain or just want an adjustment (back, neck, legs, etc), you must give him a try! FYI, he is an osteopathic physician (DO), therefore he is a fully licensed physician who went to med school and completed residency + fellowship. One more thing: make sure when you walk into the facility (it houses the urgent care) that you go to the desk on the far right of the waiting room to tell them you are there for Buffalo NMM.
