Prior to my procedure, I gathered as much information as possible, and Dr. Sena clearly communicated to me all of the potential risks. Going into this experience, I fully understood that complications are indeed possible and can happen to anyone...regardless of any surgeon's talent and due-diligence. That said, although my surgery went well, I developed a fairly common infection early in the healing process. Dr. Sena went above and beyond to remedy this problem.
