I visited the Kroger gas station on Stage Road in Bartlett today to purchase gas, and I was…read moredisappointed with the customer service I received. As I walked up to pay for my gas at pump two, I greeted the cashier by saying, "Hi, how are you?" The cashier, Jessyca, did not acknowledge or greet me. Instead, she continued talking on her phone and acted as if I wasn't standing there. As a paying customer, I expect at least a basic greeting and for my transaction to have the employee's full attention. Personal phone conversations should not take priority over assisting customers. Not only is it unprofessional, but it can also lead to mistakes, such as customers being assigned to the wrong gas pump or having issues with their fuel points. I understand that everyone has busy days, but common courtesy goes a long way. If you're working in customer service, customers should feel acknowledged and respected. I hope management addresses this so future customers receive the level of service they deserve. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the level of customer service for future customers.

Kroger is always clean and presentable. Produce, meats, and dairy were well maintained and…read morepresented. Prices are fair for what they offer. One has to double check expiration dates on breads, milk, and other perishables because they have a tendency to have breads and dairy products past the best used by dates. Today, I didn't see any expired items. The biggest issue is with checking out. The check out clerk did a wonderful job so no complaints there. She was wonderful. They had opened another lane because the line was starting to get longer and the they only had one bagger available, so I bagged my groceries myself. Not the end of the world but it is the reason I don't use self checkout. They rely heavily on self checkout and thet does a disservice to the customers. Range of items a solid 5, prices are a solid 4, cleanliness a solid 4.5, the staff a solid 4.5; the management of having enough staff to checkout customers instead of self checkout a 3 for today.

Styling hair comes in multiple colors, sizes, lengths, and textures with wigs, hairpieces, human hair, crocheting hair, braids, and bundles to choose from. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable about their products without trying to upsell you to buy more. A few of the wigs and bundle packs require employee assistance. The store also carries earrings, sunglasses, clothing, shoes, purses, hair accessories like barrettes and flowers, tights, stockings, and they have body oils based from different perfumes. The cologne/perfume tubes are small and can easily fit in a pocket or purse along with the other purse sized beauty items and last minute needs.

Four Stars -- Great Service, But the Fragrance Process Needs Work…read moreI visited the Cordova location on a holiday weekend Saturday morning, and honestly, they held it together pretty well given how crowded it was. Kudos to the team for keeping up with the rush -- customer service was exceptional. I came in with a mission: find the perfect Burberry fragrance for my mother. Yes, Sephora is pricey, but Mom is worth every penny and then some. The selection was fair -- not overwhelming, but enough to work with. My one real frustration was the fragrance shopping process. There are no fragrances available on the floor -- you have to request them, and an associate has to retrieve them from a drawer. I completely understand why (people can be dishonest, and theft is real), but the execution is a bit clunky. It feels like shopping for shoes -- you pick a few options, they go check the drawer, and more often than not your size... er, fragrance and size... isn't available. If you go one at a time, it becomes a huge time drain. By the time they're back with an answer, they've already moved on to the next customer, and you barely have a moment to regroup and think through your next choice. I'd suggest requesting several options at once to save yourself some back-and-forth. The store layout and organization are the standard Sephora setup, so no surprises there. Despite the fragrance process being a bit of a puzzle, I found what I was looking for and I would definitely return. Just go in with a game plan!
