The lady I talked to answered with a pleasant voice and everything, just asked for my name. I told her and she said there was a problem because the doctor, while licensed to practice in MN, MA wouldn't pay for it. Now, I just wanted a minute to explain my situation a bit. I only just got MA coverage a couple months ago. Since then I have been using sesame to get appointments for prescription refills because I have social anxiety and need the meds to be able to work and drive. I'd just pay for it all out of pocket. Not being used to suddenly having health coverage, I dragged my feet finding a health provider, and realized I needed a new script at the last minute. I paid for the sesame appointment because I knew I had to get this done now. I would get really sick and have terrible episodes of anxiety if i didn't. I was willing to pay out of pocket for the prescription itself. But the pharmacist didn't allow me to say ANY of this. The second I asked if I could just a have a moment to explain what's going on, she SCOFFED. She didn't even suggest that I could pay out of pocket if I wanted to. She just wanted me to get a new doctor and a new appointment, which would have taken days. I didn't even get to explain that I didn't have days. I have no more pills. The anxiety I will have to face without them will make it 100x harder to even get me out of the house. When she scoffed and made it clear that she wasn't going to help in the slightest, I asked to take this to a different pharmacy. But she can't send it in herself (which I know is crap, I've had pharamacy's send a script before). I had to call a different one, have them request it, then they would send it. Becuase they have already been SO cooperative, I am sure they are gonna get to that request as soon as costco makes it. Anyway, at the end of the day, these people don't want to talk to you. They don't want to help you. If the AI answering machine can't fix it for you, they don't care.

The staff are all very positive and eager to help. A complete change from the past, when I saw fights break out among the staff while I was there! Thanks to the management that made these changes and to all of the staff who truly care about the customers and appear to be very happy now. Awesome! :-)

It went well…read more Afterwards, I had two quick errands to complete before heading back to my hotel room for a work meeting: - Grab lunch - Get some drinks and snacks I visited this Walgreens first, followed by Arby's for lunch. Perfect! There was lots of parking in this plaza. I backed into a spot and headed over to this store. I was immediately greeted by Easter items. I was pleased that cute Squishmallows were a part of this welcome squad. I briefly looked at the nail care section. It was great. There was nail polish remover in a number of forms, polish, gel stickers, fake nails, and more. There were more Squishmallows in the seasonal Easter aisle. It was also Valentine's Day, so I saw candy for both occasions. I did not buy any Valentine's Day merchandise. I decided to wait a day, to take advantage of clearance sales that likely would happen. I needed pop. I got a couple of two-litre bottles. I was thrilled to see Diet A&W root beer. It's not as common as Diet Dr Pepper. I took a bottle each of these flavours. I also got popcorn. I headed to the checkout. There was one person ahead of me. I didn't have to wait long. I got a woman who was competent. She ended up putting a bottle in a plastic bag. It was different. I would have double-bagged both bottles. To each, her own. I paid with a credit card. At Walgreens, the payment kiosk prompts whether you want to pay in USD or CAD with a Canadian credit card. I always go with USD and have my credit card do the exchange. I got a coupon for $7 off my next purchase of at least $15. I thanked the woman and headed to my car. This store had everything that I needed. I wish that I had more time to browse. The next time I'm back in Blaine, I hope that I can take my time shopping here. (87)

My top reason for frequenting this Walgreens is because it's close and on my way home. I think…read morethere's another Walgreens that's closer, but it's not on the roads I usually take, so I prefer this one. There's been a few times I've rushed in 10 minutes before close (sorry!) desperately needing something. The employees have been understanding and friendly, despite what I'm sure is an annoyance. Usually there aren't any cars in the drive-thru, but if there are, be forewarned that it moves slow. Still, I hold no animosity because the workers are friendly. It's my neighborhood Walgreens and it works just fine.
