I was so embarrassed and bought the insulin and left and got the syringes at Walmart without a problem. I was just trying to save money buying them at the pharmacy because the vet wants triple the price. After we left he called the vet and told them we were trying to buy syringes. My vet called and said she would get a prescription but it was definitely odd since you didn't need a prescription for them. From the first time I walked in the door, the staff has been helpful and friendly. Within 3 weeks, they knew my name and my husband's name (even without ever meeting him). The neighborhood pharmacy feel is incredible. Nice touches: Ed Thomas (the head pharmacist/owner) called me after we moved our business to them to thank me. I also got a birthday call. Little touches that make me feel like they're glad we brought our business to them. I truly think there is not a better pharmacy around.

The pharmacist carefully reviewed my prescriptions and prescription history and managed to provide a few days additional supply, reducing my anxiety and protecting my health. Note: this pharmacist provided more meaningful information about my prescriptions - purposes, benefits and risks - than my general physician has in years. I deeply appreciated the primer on medications that I have taken for years. Thank you! Of course, I found some other affordable tourist items while waiting for the prescriptions to be filled too. This drugstore reflects the generous hospitality and slower pace I have often found in Carolina Beach and the Wilmington area.

I was surprised to get a phone call in the morning around 7:30ish saying they were ready. An employee had stopped at another Walgreens on his way to work and grabbed some frames.
