Refill prescription placed by telephone are never processed especially if a physician has to be contacted for refill approval! This is the third time I have tried to refill a prescription by telephone (which the prescription is supposed to be on automatic refill) and they have no record of order! I have to contact my physician to get the refill approval and ask them to place order! This Walgreen Pharmacy location has some problems processing orders! read more

Luckily enough we have family that lives here to buy some, since all vacation I've had a cold and they don't take my insurance. i had the help of a wonderful employee at the store on 17 north, two weeks ago by the name of shelly. she was absolutely wonderful. i was having a colonoscopy, a couple weeks ago. it was my third time. the first time i did not have enough of the drink. they canceled me. the second too much, the doctor canceled again. the third, i was afraid it would be a disaster. she helped me calculate how much i needed to drink and also everything else i had a question about. i could not do it again after that. i was in tears. she was so caring and wonderful in assisting me. the container the center gave me was a weird shape and very hard to calculate, and measure!!! i had the test and the doctor said i was very cleaned out and all went well. he told me i was good for the rest of my life. she was a gem! i had to go back and thank her again. i did not need it again. her calculations were perfect. she is so wonderful! you need her around. thank you walgreens! read more

There is an African American at the prescription counter that needs to find another job. We had a coupon for a month of Eliquis and she kept saying we can't take this, it will be $300, but we said the Grand Strand Hospital gave it to us, well then you can have it for $90! Whaaaaat? We asked for the pharmacist and she said it would be 15 minutes and he came right over and said, "yes, it is free!" This is about 6 times she has screwed up. We are changing to CVS where I have never ever waited a long time to get anything! read more

They are not professional and will walk off knowing you are there. I bet I sat at the drive through for 5 minutes before being acknowledged. They were a line behind me. I have never felt like they appreciate your business. If I didn't have to use them I sure wouldn't. read more

I have been a Walgreens customer for 25 years. Moving to north myrtle, service was good as always. We travel, utilize Florida locations & any others as we need refills. We get vaccines & anything possible there. Walgreens closed a pharmacy about a mile away forcing all of those clients to come to ours, the town growth is off the chart but they have not beefed up the pharmacy service. Always a LONG wait, frequently tell us they are out of our meds, multiple trips to pick up & they don't care. Told us to check another pharmacy (CVS etc) to see if they have the prescription & transfer it. This went on for TWO YEARS & we never got a response from any reviews or effort to encourage Walgreens to do better. I finally had a meltdown, no one cares, even corporate. I'm OUT & won't be back. read more

I would give this Walgreens 0 stars if I could. Very rude pharmacist and assistants are just as bad. Their protocol for RX refills was inconsistent each month, and was told 3 different dates by 3 different employees when I called to clarify. Finally received an ounce of "kindness" from them when I asked for pharm badge #s and said I was going to make a corporate complaint. I won't give specific names/details here bc I don't want to ruin anyone's career... but get it together, guys! You can do so much better. read more

I went to Walgreens at 600 HWY 17 S . In N.Myrtle beach today for my Moderna booster today . I had an appointment but went early . There was one tech taking info and administering shots . The computer was very slow on the Medicare website . I felt sorry for the pharmacy tech Julie . Customers we're so rude to her . She was working so hard to accommodate everyone, but customers continued to be rude . The Pharmacy employees were doing there best. . Come on People, STOP BEING SO RUDE !! Be Kind !! How long do you wanna wait? Lines were long and took forever. I had an appointment for a shot and I was in there for over an hour. Rec. The shot 50 minutes past my appointment. The staff was working themselves to the bone but they can only do so much. In an effort to help staff AND give a good customer experience, maybe schedule fewer in a day. People were walking out because they didnt like the wait. read more

That Abraham employee was just the sweetest little thing, left my legs quaking after i left the store. Really enjoyed my time. This was really almost a transcending experience, breathtaking even. From the moment I stepped foot in that establishment I knew I was being treated with not only care, but upmost respect. Don't even get me started about the prices!!! Makes me feel as if the trip down the road is really worth it. I now understand what great customer service is like. I felt as if it was my privilege to buy items from this establishment. With this all being said, I will most definitely be regularly attending this Walgreen's for the sole purpose of breathing in the fresh oxygen from the air. Truly amazing.
