Stopped in for a quick 2-piece chicken with fried corn and it definitely hit the spot. The chicken was hot, crispy, and seasoned just right--not dry at all. You can tell it was fresh. The fried corn was actually the standout for me...sweet, buttery, and cooked perfectly. Always a go to whenever I visit NMB. read more

Where else can you get gas ,lottery tickets, cold beer, drinks, and killer fried chicken, wings, pizza sticks, ho-jo's,? If they close any time in the near future, I hope someone opens a new one the next day. I don't know how many years We've stopped while at the beach for gas or chicken to go. read more

This place is a money trap.Their hot bar is very overpriced and the portions vary from small to extra small. Not only that, the "hired help" is very incompetent and underpaid (which, obviously explains at least part of the reason they are incompetent). I live in this general area of the the Grand Strand and I know about this place very well. My best advice is to stay away from it. They will give you both heartburn and heart attacks in more than one way. read more

Totally agree with the past reviewer. Gas, drinks, chicken, and the best egg rolls and apple pies. I know what you're thinking. Egg rolls from a gas station. But if you've ever eaten Sheetz food, you've realized gas station CAN be good and this was around long before Sheetz was. The only downside, it's in a shady area with some shady people hanging around at times. read more
