Honestly, the only time I go to Walgreens is when they have holiday stuff marked down. Most of the stuff inside the store is extremely expensive and you can get a better deal if you just go to a larger grocery store across the street or down the road. The make up is way more expensive here as well as almost everything in the store. The only time I buy anything from here like I said is if it's marked down or clearanced out for a cheaper price. Sometimes the photo center does have some good deals online such as single prints or specialty items. Last time I was there the lady at the cash register was extremely helpful and very personable when I checked out. On the after Easter sale I bought a bunch of Peeps here for much cheaper than going to Walmart. read more

I rarely write bad reviews. I'm willing to overlook an awful lot in a service provider because I myself am a service provider and understand a lot of the behind the scenes work going on that customers don't take time to think about before they complain. BUT THIS PHARMACY IS THE EPITOME OF TERRIBLE. We usually use a different pharmacy but our doctor suggested we try a CVS or Walgreens in the area since they are normally cheaper. What a mistake! When we arrived to pick up our prescription, we were told it would be half an hour. We were disappointed because I had walking pneumonia at the time and we lived over an hour away so couldn't leave town without the prescription. But I assumed they had lots of prescriptions to fill and we didn't complain. Half an hour later we came back and were very rudely told that it would be 2 hrs before it would be filled at least. We asked if there was any way to speed up the process and explained that I was feeling horrible and trying to get home to rest. They were clearly annoyed and said they guessed it could be ready in 1.5 hrs instead of 2.‍ So we waited in the parking lot with a screaming baby for 2 hrs. We figured we'd give them the full 2 since they were already annoyed with us and slow as molasses. Then my wife called them from the parking lot to see if it was ready at which point we were told it would be at least another hour and a half. At this point we were very angry. I'd sat in the parking lot for 2 hrs with a fever and coughing my lungs out waiting for the medicine that was supposed to offer some relief and longing to get home and in bed...and they had promised us three different time frames and were on trajectory to keep prolonging it on us...and we knew they would be closing soon, at which point they'd have knowingly kept us in their parking lot for 4 hrs only to send us home hoping they might fill it tomorrow! We fairly aggressively protested. Finally we were told to come back in and they'd go ahead and fill it. So my wife went in. They made her wait for an extra 20 minutes before they called her to collect payment. Then another 15 before they actually gave her the prescription! I am trying to obtain a higher level managers number so I can leave a better complaint. Those pharmaceutical employees need to be fired. If you can't move any faster than molasses, then it least be more polite than a hissing possum with a knot in its tail! And don't promise a time frame not once, but 3 times and fail them all!!! If it's going to be tomorrow before you can get it filled because you can't miss your hour lunch then TELL THE POOR HACKING CUSTOMER THAT SO HE CAN GO HOME AND REST! And don't treat me like the teacher that mentally scarred you in school just because I'm showing back up when YOU told me to ask about the prescription YOU said would be ready!!! read more

It is so frustrating trying to get a script at this location. They have hours that are almost impossible for people who work. Even when you call ahead to confirm a script will be ready, it isn't ready. The response of you can transfer it elsewhere is not acceptable. I will not be coming back. This should be zero stars. read more

Pharmacist Amelia went the extra mile for me and got my prescription transferred at literally the last minute. After telling me my prescription would be filled that day, Walmart had waited until just a half hour before they closed to inform me they did not have my medication. I needed some that night, and I contacted other pharmacies, but they did not have my medication in stock. I got a hold of Dr. Amelia 7 minutes before the Walmart pharmacy closed, and she managed to get my information, get a hold of Walmart, and process the transfer before Walmart closed. This is the single worst pharmacy. Repeatedly Issuing wrong medication (one that could have caused death if we were not paying attention). They are bullies trying to intimidate customers into accepting whatever they decide to issue and taking absolutely no responsibility for the actions that could in all reality cost a life or many life's. The pharmacist here is rude, argumentative with zero concerns for life or health. repeatedly commiting insurance fraud by charging insurance for medication never issued. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.. they gave me the wrong prescription which could've led to me not getting treated correctly and ending up in the hospital. Not to mention they have no idea Wtf they are even prescribing, I called to explain they gave me the wrong meds and they basically said well it's pretty much the same thing when they are no where near similar. The "female dog" that answered the phone had an attitude like I was the one who made the mistake. Fire the whole staff and replace them with employees that pay attention to their job, this isn't a cashier position you are giving out medication that could potentially affect someone's life. Imagine going in and them prescribing a medication you are allergic to vs something you were supposed to receive. I will NEVER go back. read more

Waited in drive through line for 45 minutes just be told to come inside because they don't have my prescription. I specifically called once I got into the drive through line to tell me I was waiting. The lady told me it would be ready in 20 minutes since I was in the drive through. Finally got to the window because there was 4 cars ahead of me and they told me to come inside they. I don't get the difference between inside and outside. My husband went inside and they told him wait 15 minutes. Now we are over 1 hour in waiting with no prescription !! Never coming back here again. I don't get having to wait in drive through to be told to come inside to be told to wait some more. read more

Do NOT RECOMMEND this store to ANYONE. Walgreen Meds are inferior to CVS Pharmacy, their pain pills so much smaller then CVS that 1/3 of CVS meds won't fit into Walgreen's bottle and Walgreens does NOT work as effectively. I feel cheated when I was FORCED to get my sleep med from Walgreens because of stupid laws tampering with our freedom to choose. THIS cheaply made sleep med DID NOT WORK at all! It's like they were outdated or just made to cut costs at our expense and suffering. Don't go there for your Zolpidem, they ripped me off bad, called them and of course, they will do NOTHING, will not take them back, no refund YOU ARE STUCK with whatever they do to you like a communist country. YOU DO NOT have choices once you buy it and find out you've been cheated. NOT ALL pharmacies are the same, NOT BY A LONG SHOT. My vote goes to CVS Pharmacy. read more

I do not usually take the time to complain, but given the fact I waited an hour on hold for the pharmacy only to be hung up on I'm going to this time. If I could give this pharmacy a zero star rating I would! As a provider (doctor) I was trying to call in a prescription for a patient that was in pain. The usual phone message with the ability for providers to leave detailed instructions for prescriptions is no longer available. With this being only 24 Hr store in the area I was willing to wait (obviously). The patient actually make it to the store by the time I call to inform them of the situation (being hung up on). The patient told the pharmacist about the situation and that I would like to call in the prescription. The patient reported that the pharmacist was very rude and said she was not answering anymore calls. Very poor service! Walgreens you need to get your provider message system back in place!!!! read more

This is a mixed review... I was once told this was the "training Walgreens" but then was told either that wasn't true or that it no longer the training Walgreens. With that reputation you can imagine the issues regular customers would see. Constant turnover was the biggest issue by far, or maybe they were all being trained and promoted. (this all pertains to the pharmacy) When you have turnover you have huge inconsistencies with customer service, product knowledge, and old fashion relationships. I have been coming to this Walgreens for as long as I have lived in this area (about 8 years in 2016) After going anywhere for that long you tend to get to know how they operate better than maybe someone coming in for a quick purchase. Don't get me wrong, me and Walgreens have had our ups and downs but there is one person that has stood above the rest. She is a manager in the pharmacy and her Name is Beth. She has helped me over and over when no-one else would and I would like to thank her for all she has done for me and my family. Without her, I would not be a Walgreens customer and I applaud her for all the professional work she has done to make sure my loyalty stays within that store. read more
