I've done business with Walgreens all over the country because I travel for work for years. But I…read moresend my prescriptions to this Walgreens and they said they don't wanna order it because they were high volume and other people already get that prescription. I don't know why they just can't order an extra one like all the other Walgreens do so they said they would fill one of my other prescriptions in two days so they called me today and said my prescription was ready so I drove 45 minutes to get there And they have a sign that says temporary closed for power outage. Even though all the lights are on and there's employees in the store, they shouldn't have called me and said to come get my prescription. very unprofessional Walgreens. Edit: I came back 2 days later and first the girl tells me they don't have anything for me. Then the pharmacist tells her something and she goes to look it up again. Then the pharmacist tells me when it sits on the shelf to long they have to put it up. I tried to say something about the power being out and he got rude and says sit over there and wait if i still want it. Mind you i came the day before the light issue and they said it wasn't ready. So i said yes i want it, Ive already been here three times for it. So here I am waiting. I understand they are a busy store but that doesn't give them a pass to be totally rude. Walgreens corporate, yall need to help these people out if they cant handle the work load. Unless of course you don't care about your customers. Worst Walgreens ive ever been to, and I use Walgreens all over the country when i travel.

I just got a text my script was ready. Hop in the car and see signs staying on the windows that they are closing early this week--what used to be a 24 hour pharmacy. I get to the counter and are told that they are closed, yet helping people in the drive in and at the counter. How are people supposed to get what they need if you are always closed? My employer requires this (CVS) pharmacy, which is the closest and most convenient to my home. I think this next benefit year I'll no longer required to use CVS, having options will be nice. By the way, there was only one person behind me so she definitely could have done it after helping the other customer, she just simply did not care enough to help. i won't be returning to this location because that really upset me.

This is the first time I have made a review on Yelp but I feel folks need to have a heads up…read more Walgreens as a prescription provider, at least in Midland, has really gone down in quality and availability in the past few years but I went back due to insurance needs. I was recently prescribed a common antibiotic at electronically from the doctors office at 4 pm on a Tuesday. This prescription was not ready for pickup until 5:30 pm on Wednesday. Almost 26 hours. I went in mid day Wednesday and offered to wait and was told "they don't do waiters". This store has courteous staff but it is impossible to get thru to talk to a real person if you call. I had to call the corporate office to get that done. The excuse I was given was the pharmacist was "unavailable" Tuesday afternoon and they got backed up. Add into that the daily lunch shut down and you can see why there is the excessive wait. No pharmacy either Saturday or Sunday at this location. Not sure if the other Walgreens locations are a better option but that's my next move.

Formerly was under Albertsons LLC where a price for a product would regularly cost $4.99 then during sales it was 2 for $5 what a buy however now that same product may cost $3.99 and go on sale 2 for $6, hope the United Family can have more of a competitive edge however with Market Street around the corner they really don't need it.
