The best thing about Walgreens is the discount store brand paper towels and tissue papers which are always on sale for 5 bucks . It's a typical Walgreens and if you look around you will find plenty of things on sale and the stuff that's not on sale is priced about what cvs charges . Pharmacy in the back area and if you want beer , just ring the bell cause the fridge is locked . I spent about 40 bucks and my reward total must have jumped up a bit which I can use on future purchases. Decent Walgreens in queens they is well stocked and priced just right . read more

Never order Christmas photo cards here!!! First of all, they kept taking orders knowing that their printing system was down. Then they never even notified anyone beyond a vague email that said there was a delay three days later. Then one employee promised me he would call me two days after they were set to be printed and it never happened. It's been over a week now and I never received an email or call- they just silently faded out - like just kidding- you're never getting your Christmas cards! read more

Very rarely do we go to this walgreens and in fact, Artis Drugs across the street is 5 star fantastic but It was closed and so against my better judgment we stopped at Walgreens. Once again, these people have no clue as to what customer service is. Just really, obnoxious employees. We will never ever again attempt to patronize this establishment. For ALL of my needs, and I always choose this store over the 24 hour cvs due to cleanliness, products and just my overall experience. However, an employee named Jane is the reason I most likely not be attending anymore. I submitted a complaint to an in person staff leader I believe. Pharmacy wait times are incredibly long and they tell you 30 minutes when they mean 2 hours. Employees seem to be aimlessly wandering the store while you wait 20 minutes for someone to unlock a case. When you get to the register the cashiers are loudly complaining about having to work. I used to love this Walgreens and chose it over other pharmacies, but now it's terrible. read more

I love leaving positive reviews. However, I leave one star without hesitation in this case. An elderly relative needed some medication which was filled by the doctor and he was consistently told to wait approximately five minutes only to wait more than one hour. Totally unacceptable. I know other local less commercial pharmacies that make you wait at most five minutes. Parking lot is convenient and was the main attraction but I will be going someplace else next time. read more

They advertise photo printing services. I ordered photo prints as a present for my husband. They were supposed to be ready by 6pm yesterday. I called at 7:30pm yesterday but was told that they had nobody to work on them. They could have called and told me that 6 hours earlier. They told me they would be ready by today. I called at 9am today to ask what time they would be ready. I was told that they don't have anyone to work on photos so it would be best to try a different location. Why advertise services you don't offer?? Why don't you call customers and let them know that you have no intention of fulfilling their order so that the customer can make other arrangements ?? read more

We come here a lot. They are open late. The lines move fast. rewards card saves money and gives you access to special deals of the week. The staff is also friendly and courteous. The store usually has what I am looking for. Their pharmacy is also pretty good. The line never lasts to long. The parking lot is of a decent size and there is always parking. read more

I've come here on several occasions for various reasons: late buying a birthday card, late buying an anniversary card, late buying a Valentines Day card. It's your average unremarkable corporate pharmacy. The reason I give them a 1 star review is their horrendous, ghastly, appalling Photo services. We live in the technology age where photos are digital and purchases are frequently made via the internet. I identified several pictures I wanted for my office and uploaded them to the Walgreen's website which reported the prints would be ready by 8:36 AM. More than that, it offers several pickup times, the first of which was 8:36, which I selected. I arrived at 8:40 AM only to be told by the store manager that the Photo Lab doesn't open until 9:00. He actually sounded as though he were blaming me for using HIS COMPANY'S WEBSITE to make the purchase. As I was technically on-the-clock at work, I decided not to wait for the photo technician to come in, start all the machinery and print my photos, telling the manager I would come back for my photos. I then trudged the nearly two miles back to my office only to find an email stating my purchase had been cancelled. Dafuq? This is not the first run-in I've had with this location's Photo Lab. I'd previously tried to have a poster printed there which came out smudged and torn. When I returned to point it out, they promised to remedy the situation while I waited. Thirty minutes later I inquired and the lab technician said he still hadn't even begun to process the poster. They may be great in other areas, but their photo center is atrocious and should be avoided at all costs. read more

The store itself is nice but it seems to be very under staffed. There's only ever 1 person at the register (very rarely have I seen 2) no matter how long the line is, and there is literally NEVER anyone at the photo counter. I don't get my one hour photo confirmation that photos are available to pick up until 6+ hours later and when I finally go nobody is there. I used to be patient and just wait, but I learned that that's not going to get me anywhere so I have to speak up. And even then, it takes forever for someone to show up to give me my photos. It seems to be very poorly managed. Walgreens is more convenient for me to go to, but I'm choosing CVS from now on. They seem to have their s*** together much more. read more

The use of technology shouldn't be too confused I placed an automatic renewal and was told it would be ready the following day. later that day i received a text saying my order was ready .when I went to pick it up it was only partially ready and I had to return the following day as originally scheduled. why couldn't you tell me in a text that it was only partially available. I went to pay and you front-loaded the billing with half my order to come the following day. When I went to pay I said credit you put it in as a debit I brought this to your attention and it still went through as a debit I am very disappointed in Walgreens read more

I was having trouble finding a couple things and was getting frustrated, but when i asked the cashier she directed me to where i needed to go. Comparatively speaking to other drug stores their lack of inventory and horrendous selection of cosmetics is the worst I have ever seen. It has been addressed to mgmt and has been historically promised over the years that the cosmetic dept will be improved, it hasn't. It is the worst I have ever seen and always been a last resort stop even though the store is moments away from my home. This needs to be corrected through management and not clerks. read more

Run of the mill Walgreens in Middle Village. The one issue I have is the parking lot lines seem to be 2-3 inches too small. The spots have no room to open your doors if the cars are even slightly out of line. They try to keep the cashier lines short. I don't use them as a pharmacy for prescriptions so this review does not cover that. read more

Nice location. A much needed Walgreens in this area of Middle Village. They have a private parking lot and street parking is easy to find here. This Walgreens is clean and organized. The only thing I don't like about this one is that they close pretty early compared to the ones that are in Elmhurst but other than that, it's a convenient place for the neighborhood. read more

This Walgreens is one of my favorites I've ever visited. After work I'll usually stop by in the evening to pick something up and everyone is so helpful and friendly. The lines are terrible sometimes only when multiple registers need to open. For the most part they are fast, what can you do when the cashier is quick and the old lady ahead of me is taking forever trying to figure how she's going to pay. When at checkout the Cashier always greets me with a smile and asks how my day has been no matter how busy he is. What stands out was how the Cashier knows my name and what brand cigarettes I want before I ask. I feel like we've formed a bond. I've seen no service like this elsewhere. The Managers are great too. Great training and staff picks! Can't imagine shopping elsewhere :D read more
