Sometimes the lines of customers can get rather long during prime hours. I think that like almost everywhere, it's difficult for retailers to find enough employees to fully staff their stores. Parking can get chaotic in this lot, so watch out for inattentive drivers. All in all, my family and I can usually find what drugstore items that we need here, which is the bottom line for me. read more

Walgreens - almost never in stock (at any Walgreens) - Drugstores Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

I don't drive, so I use their delivery option. This is the second time that I have paid for same day delivery and waited a day or two before actual delivery. When I complain, they say that delivery is by Doordash, and they have no control over delivery. read more

Attempted to print photos to this Walgreens (8001 Winchester). Stood at photo area as multiple employees walked past me. Stood in line and got to front for cashier to ask her to call someone and she told me she's "the only one" and she'll be with me in a minute. Waited again as she checked SIX more people out... she never came to help. I finally went behind the counter and the photos weren't even there. Terrible (frankly nonexistent) service; I won't print pictures to this location again. read more

Why is this Walgreens still open? It's time to close it. It is rarely actually ever open when is supposed to be. When it is open there is nothing stocked. It has been terrible for the last six months. read more

The pharmacy at the location on Winchester has downgraded with the new employees. The pharmacists seem fine but the young ladies that work the drive through are extremely rude and will have you wait over 30 minutes. One told me she would be with me after 30 minutes I went into the store, no one was in line and she waited on me without apologizing. On the next occasion I was in the drive through again. Some rude young lady came on the intercom said she will be with me. fifteen minutes later i blew my horn and she mumbled something rudely up under her breath, then came out from wherever she was - I guess she was on break, didn't apologize and acted as if she was doing me a favor. Trifling employees like these have no reason to work. They should be fired and maybe then they would be thankful for the job she had. I am moving my prescriptions from them and will move them to Sam. If I'm spending my money there is no way I will be treated poorly. Trifling folk should not even expect a check for poor, poor service. This is the pharmacy at 8001 Winchester, Memphis, TN! Rude, rude and rude!!!! read more

This is one of the local Walgreens with a Take Care walk in clinic. I don't usually use clinics, in years past I've always just had a copay so it made sense to see the doctor for the same cost. Now my insurance has a 10% co insurance so going to the doctor is much more costly. I was a bit nervous about going to the clinic here. I'm not big on antibiotics but I'd been sick for 3 weeks and had to admit it wasn't just a cold. I was seen quickly, the doctor was thorough and very sweet. There wasn't a huge wait because I came when the first opened and it was really easy to register using their computer. They even sent my prescription to another store (a CVS in fact) because that is what my insurance covers. It was nice that I wasn't forced to get it there. I hate that I had to go, but I'm glad there was a place to go on a Saturday morning that didn't have me waiting hours and costing me and arm and a leg. read more

So. Rude. The clerk stared at me as I walked in and past her. I couldn't find exactly what I needed and after scanning most of the aisles for an associate, I walked back to the front to ask her for assistance. She interrupted me twice during a two sentence request. Her responses were single word interjections. I found what I needed and returned to check out. She rang me up and stared at me. Irritated, I stared back. After about ten seconds she asked if I had a WalGreens card. I told her I did not and was abruptly told to put in my phone number as she pointed to the keypad. Information entered, I resumed staring back at her, wallet in hand. Another five seconds or so passed before she told me my total and that was the last thing she said to me. I've marked this branch off my list of places to do business. read more

Stopped in to take a passport photo of my 6 month old son. You can imagine the frustration of trying to get him to sit still long enough to take a perfect shot. If you've ever had to take a passport photo you understand how the are very picky about the shot. The staff at the photo counter were EXTREMELY helpful tonight!! The manager came out to take the photo (or photos I should say because we took over 10), she was super sweet. Two more employees came over to help get my little ones attention so we could get the shot. Overall a pleasant experience, staff was super friendly and fast! Great managers make great teams!! Bravo Walgreens!! read more

By far, The worst drive-thru service of any Walgreens. Waits in excess of 15-20 minutes or more is common.

If you hVent gotten your flu shot yet, I highly recommend going to Walgreens. You just wLk up to the pharmacy counter and request the flu shot. The pharmacist takes you next in line, which was right away and you wk behind a temporary curtain with her and she puts the injection in your arm muscle. This pharmacist took her time and injected the needle and the medicine slowly and this was the most painless shot I have w ER had. The staff were friendly . The atmosphere wS clean. Best of all, the shot was FREE! read more

Awful. I am visiting/on vacation and I called them to have an rx filled here. I left a message and for two days I did not hear back from them at all. This is a very important rx that I needed and I suppose they didn't care. I finally called THEM and asked them about my message to which they rudely responded that I contact my doctor to Call Them. Ridiculous. This is their job, not mine. Most other pharmacies don't ask you to do their job. Finally after telling them that my other pharmacy takes care of these details the employee rudely told me that "they'll get around to it tomorrow". Again, completely ignoring and showing very little respect for the fact that I need my prescription for my condition. There should really be a customer sensitivity class that pharmacists are required to attend. Terrible terrible service for the MOST expensive national pharmacy around. read more

The clinic here was so quick and easy. In and out in 30 minutes with an awesome nurse practitioner. It was so much easier than going to my regular doctor for a quick illness. Will definitely be going again! read more
