Yesterday my 19 yo daughter went to pick up a prescription that her pediatricians office sent over for her. When she arrived, John (official title now being best pharmacist ever!) Pulled her aside and explained to her that he wasn't comfortable giving her the meds because she is allergic to penicillin and apparently people who are allergic to penicillin should not take Cefalexin either, as they often have the same reactions. They called me and explained what was going on, and not only did he catch what her drs office of almost 19years did not, but he called the office multiple times to try and get a new prescription. So while we will not be going back to that drs office, we will never leaves Bells! Thank you John, what would we do without you!

Not only was the pharmacist able to fix my *2 week apart* issue that my prior pharmacy had put me in, but he also called me & updated me on everything, considering he knew I hated the situation my prior pharmacist put me in. The prices are even cheaper here than at the small pharmacy in my town! While my prescriptions are free, my mom doesn't have prescription insurance. So, I used the app "Good RX" to try and save her $. The prices at Bell Pharmacy are CHEAPER than Good RX! My mom was paying approx $50+ more/month for her prescriptions @ our other pharmacy. So, for the simple fact that I loathe horrible customer service/incompetence & had her switch pharmacies also, (bcuz we go to the dr & fill our prescriptions the same time/day & I didn't wanna walk into my old pharmacy again b/c of the stress they put me under), she - without intent, instantly is saving $50+/month-$600+/year! So, not only is the customer service impeccable, so are their prices! Going to Bell Pharmacy will not be regretted by any customers. I highly recommend you go here if you live in the area.

I phoned ahead and, without whining too much detail, I told them I must have the drugs, I might be nearly 10 minutes after close, could you *please* hold open? They recognized my need and, with some reservation, I'm sure, agreed. Fortunately, my driver hit the parking lot a minute after close, so it didn't put them out so badly. But, they were ready to help. And, the obvious things they do. Gary (one of the pharmacists) has pointed out some things I should be aware of with my medications, as he spots them. Be sure to use Shoprite's online services for tracking/ordering/managing your prescriptions.

I highly recommend morristown pharmacy at 95 Madison ave. In the same building as doctors. On first floor past elevators on right. It is very accessible.Like a family. They are wonderful there. Made my prescription transfers so easy. Staff is great. Calls me when medications are do for renewal. If you are looking for a family pharmacy like rite aid please go to morristown pharmacy. You will be happy. I love it there. Im a nurse so of course im worried more about my medicines. They are so friendly to talk to and answers my questions about my medicines expertly. Sadly, Far Hills Pharmacy appears to be closed for good. I found out about it in a local…read morenewsletter. If you look on-line, it says they're "temporarily closed." Unfortunately, my instincts are that that "temporarily" is destined to stretch on into "eternity." I can't say I've had a whole lot of experience with this place, but it's the epitome of an old-fashioned, small-town pharmacy, and the fact that it's gone is not good. As I've mentioned, the 1st time I came here was with my old friend for a milkshake, and I remember it being a damn good one. The next time was a year or 2 ago. My nose was running like a sieve, and I just felt crummy. This usually happens at least once every winter, and my usual remedy was Day-quil and Ny-quil. After a few days, they tended to work, but I was always left with a splitting headache, and it always took a few days before I was cured. Fed up, I decided to come to Far Hills for new medication, and the pharmacist was very helpful, much more so than in large chains like Walgreens or CVS. He asked me a few questions about my overall health, then recommended Coricidin "Cold & Flu" pills, plus a supplement designed to boost my immune system. The price was very reasonable. He cautioned that it might make me sleepy. I went home, took the pills as directed, and the next day I was vastly improved. I returned again sometime later for a milkshake and learned that they didn't make them anymore. Sad, but I got an ominous feeling from that. My last visit was a few weeks ago. There was no one at the front counter, and the 2 men working were on the phones, having in-depth conversations about the perilous state of the pharmacy's finances. The pharmacist was polite, apologized to me for the long wait, and rang me up without further distractions, but that ominous feeling had become a commanding sense of dark foreboding that the pharmacy was not long for the world. It's really too bad. I hate to see small, independent businesses fail, whether they're bookstores or pharmacies. Not too long after that last visit, I went to my local Walgreen's to pick up my prescription headache medication (yeah, I feel guilty about it, but I've been coming here for decades and only became aware of the Far Hills Pharmacy during the past few years) and couldn't help but reflect on the differences. Walgreens was larger, had more aisles, was more densely stocked with everything from Unisom pills to cough syrup to paper towels to vaccinations. But I for one will miss the homey, hands-on touch of the Far Hills Pharmacy, despite my limited experiences with it. I don't know how long they were in business, but it just feels very sad. Another independent bites the dust. Not good.
