If you ever want to know what it feels like to be openly disrespected as a customer, come to this…read moreWalgreens. I came in to buy two candy bars. That is it. No big transaction, no drama. I walked up to the register expecting this to take maybe thirty seconds. The cashier looked at me and said, "I'll be right back." No problem in theory. Except what followed was one of the slowest, most passive aggressive performances I have ever seen in a store. He did not just walk slowly. He dragged himself across the store like every step was an act of protest. He went to deal with another customer somewhere else, moving at a speed that said very clearly, "Your time means nothing to me." No apology, no "Give me one moment," nothing. Just vanishing while I am standing there at the register like an idiot holding two candy bars. Then the return trip. Same slow shuffle back. No urgency, no acknowledgment that I had been waiting this whole time. By the time he finally got back, several minutes had passed for something that should have taken less than a minute. I told him, very calmly given the situation, that he should have checked me out first. His response was, "He was ahead of you." That explanation would carry more weight if he had shown any sign of trying to be efficient or considerate. Instead, he decided to prove a point. He started scanning my two candy bars with exaggerated slow movements, like he wanted to annoy me on purpose. This is not just bad service. It is contempt for the customer. If you work a register, your job is simple. Acknowledge the person standing in front of you. Move with some basic level of urgency. Do not act like ringing up two items is an inconvenience to you. And absolutely do not respond to feedback by intentionally slowing down more. Management needs to take a serious look at who they put at the front of the store, because this kind of attitude drives people away. I will go out of my way to avoid this location from now on.

I've had horrible interactions with pharmacists just being rude and judging me and telling me what my doctor should or shouldn't be doing, I hated the experience, I dreaded it but since going to Tony's I have had such a BETTER/different experience. The women that work there are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacist is very professional and kind. It makes my day a lot better dealing with a pharmacy that treats there patients with respect and now a days with walgreens, cvs and other local pharmacies i.e; that makes you wait 1 hour after you call them 2 hours prior so you don't have to wait but when you get there to pick it up its not ready and they say we will start it now but I called you 2 hours ago so I didn't have to wait 1 hour ( there not a big chain but I don't want to say the name because I don't want others that go there to be treated worse which will happen if they see this and unfortunately, a family member needs there meds but the woman that was filling it was extremely rude like I was shocked she acted that way after spending thousands of dollars...but we know we can't say anything or they just won't fill it) which is so unprofessional but my point is Tony's has none of that you don't have to put up with attitudes and very questionable pricing. The store itself has beautiful gifts and a lot of animal friendly things to buy. If you need a better pharmacy or pharmacists that treats you with respect and doesnt act like your bothering them please switch if you can. I wish I went to Tony's Family Pharmacy a lot sooner! If they don't have what you need but can order it they will tell you right then and there and keep you updated. It's very hard to find a pharmacy with out the stress and I know now there is at least one in Monmouth County. Thank you to everyone that works at Tony's Family Pharmacy!! I really appreciate it and can now see these other pharmacies could care less about you and your health. It's not you that's the problem this is the career they chose if they have a question then contact the doctor they shouldn't be taking it out on you. As a patient we don't even see the script and once its sent to one pharmacy majority of the time you can't switch it to a different one the doctor has to but we are just trying to get our medicine 99 percent of people aren't trying to make anyone's life harder. Sorry for the very long review but I have dealt with pharmacies just being so ridiculous but it was a blessing in disguise because I have zero complaints about Tonys. They are great!!!!

I can testify to the set of people at that time. But it seems they have changed their staff or a new family member is in-charge now . I had a bad experience this morning at about 9.54 am 5/6/24 I called from out of state to verify if they had Symbiotic colostrum vitamins. I wanted it sent to me or ready to pick it up once I get to NJ. The Lady I spoke to was unbelievably rude . I kept telling her and explaining she keep saying she doesn't have high cholesterol medication. I went further to explain it's a vitamin but she was too impatient and cut the call . I called back and tried to explain what I wanted and told her it's not cholesterol medication .She absolutely told me she cut the previous call because she didn't want to hear my complain again. OMG! I was absolutely stunned that she cut the previous call on purpose. I asked for the pharmacist . She said she was the pharmacist and slammed the phone a second time. This could definitely will be heartbreaking for a person who thinks they can get some sympathy from a pharmacist but ends up receiving such treatment. If this attitude is not addressed Future Pharmacy is definitely going to lose many customers.

This is truly the best pharmacy I have ever been to in the Tri-State area and beyond. Once you go to a local pharmacy, you will never go back to your run-of-the-mill chains. The pharmacists know me by name and it's one of the best places to shop for your health. If you are looking for natural alternatives to synthetic drugs, look no further. I can talk to the pharmacist, who is like a textbook on integrative medicine. Huge selection of vitamins and supplements at much lower prices than I bought online. I sort of want to keep the secret all to myself, because I have never looked better after the stuff I get here. But I'm a Yelper, so there you go. Just trust me.

This is my…read morefamilies neighborhood CVS and I often place online orders, from out of state, for my relatives to pick up medications and hygiene products for my two young nephews. Both me and my relatives have had the same experiences when picking up orders from the front counter of this specific location. To my knowledge, CVS is not franchised, so it's the expectation that locations across the US would uphold the same standards and practices. Where I'm from, cashiers typically ask to see ID and/or the order number when picking up online orders in store, to ensure that the person picking up the order is the person who placed the order or the designated pick-up person. Packaged orders are also behind the counter and not on display for just anyone to grab as if it's a food order at a fast food restaurant. I've placed several online orders since being in town for a week and have both called and gone in store requesting for someone to mark the orders as "picked up" because 4 days of emails and text alerts reminding me to pick up my orders, when I already have, is quite annoying. Cashiers should be either scanning the barcode printed on the receipt they staple to the bag or asking the customer for their name and marking the order picked up before the customer leaves the store. Our orders are not safe from someone accidentally or purposefully taking an order that isn't theirs. I would be highly upset to know that someone took something I paid for. I've spoken with two associates and was given these two responses, "You got the order didn't you? So don't worry about it" and "You can just take it and go. We don't have to do that". Actually, you do. It's your job! These responses are unprofessional and a potential liability to the store. My last visit to the store, I didn't leave until they completed the order pick up process and I watched as they fumbled with the hand-held device. Why? Because they're not completing the process the way it was created to be completed. Taking shortcuts is extremely lazy and irresponsible. The associates' attitudes towards this simple request tells me all I need to know about how they feel about their customers and their hard earned money. This also speaks volumes to their training under the current management. You all need to do better!
