I went with an appointment for my covid shot after work. After sitting for 40 minutes they never open the door at the chairs where the check in seats are. Next thing you know the pharmacist starts taking walk ins in front of me. I had already asked 3 Walgreens staff if I needed to go to the pharmacy line. They all told me just sit there. The pharmacist opens the door extremely rude and takes 4 people without appointments because they went to the pharmacy line. I left and went to rite aide and got right in. The girl was nice and didn't give dirty looks like Walgreens pharmacist. I may even take my business elsewhere now. read more

I switched my prescription to being delivered to my house, but of course the delivery date is a day too late. I'm out of the medication and I need to take it today. I try to get it filled in the store because it won't arrive by the time I actually need it. Now I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance was already billed for the one that's being shipped to my address. I call to follow up on if I really have to pay out of pocket, and they say I do that it's an insurance issue. I say fine I'll pay for it and ask when I can pick it up. I'm told it's ready now. I show up a couple hours later, and I'm told I'll have to come back in an hour because it's not ready. Walgreens online pharmacy 0/10. Walgreens in person pharmacy 0/10. They need more than one person waiting on people. Today the line was 9 deep inside. Average time per person was 5 minutes or longer. This is ridiculous, especially in this time of COVID. This review is for the photo department and "Sarah" who assisted me. I ordered some pictures to be printed on canvasses. The order was supposed to be ready the next day but they called me and told me it would take two days because they were out of a specific size. The day they were supposed to be ready, I called to verify if they were ready and the lady on the phone told me they were out of the 11x14 size canvas and I could just get rid of one picture from my order or wait until they got the right size. I explained they had told me two days prior there was a delay and this was supposed to be the day it was to be ready. She apologized and asked me if I wanted to change to a different size. I needed the pictures that day so I agreed. In order to do so, I had to create an account on the app to change my order which was frustrating because I was on a time crunch. I completed my order and Sarah told me I could head over. When we got there, my order wasn't quite done so we did a little shopping. Sarah was very Apologetic for the delay and discounted my order for my trouble. I was very appreciative and my order came out awesome...I have since placed another order with the photo department at this location and was equally as happy. My only complaint the second time was I received a text saying my order was ready but it actually wasn't even though I arrived a few hours after receiving the text. read more

Since CVS is going out of business (thank you!), I chose to change all our families prescriptions over to Walgreens. The drive thru being my main reason at first. But the transfer from CVS to Walgreens was more than easy, thanks to the staff at this facility. Today I had to go into the store to get some OTC meds for my kids! (Benadryl generic 8oz, 2 for $11.49). The non-generic was $10.99 for an 8 oz bottle! Great deal. I was in & out in no time. And I had to pick up a new prescription for my little. the store itself is great...this is a review for the pharmacy only. the staff just tells you what they think you want to hear and then doesn't do anything. when you think you're finally close to getting your medications, it's back to square one. they really shouldn't be so careless and rude to people who obviously have neurological issues; i'm liable to burn that place to the ground (although i have little faith that they even know which medications are for what). i'm still just A LITTLE worked up...finally gave up and went to a different pharmacy; they had my prescriptions ready in 20 minutes. quite a miracle considering this walgreens couldn't figure it out in four days. four days of misery without the medications upon which my body and brain depend. read more

This Pharmacy is unreal! I am incredibly frustrated as it always seems to be the same issues. I spoke to the pharmacist on Friday night, refilled my medication, was told it would be ready sat morning....nope, then I get a text on Sunday saying it's delayed due to insurance...after I told them for 2 months straight to charge me out of pocket. I called to figure this out tonight and Allina was so rude to me and states, " we haven't even started a rx for you, when I asked for an explanation she said "Dunno" wow...thanks. Had a handwritten Prescription in hand, drove from Dr. office 22 miles away to this oh so wonderful Walgreens which was 22 miles out of my way to drop off and pick up the next day without having to wait an eternity for the prefer to be filled.....I received a notification from Walgreens later that day prescriptions were ready, went to Walgreens 2 days later to pick up and still had to wait for over an hour to get my prescriptions. Review based on pharmacy only- there is a definite lack of communication as well as enough employees, it usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour in line to pick up. Unless you are willing to go after 11 pm since it is 24 hours. The pharmacy clerks are hit and miss, several times I was told to come back in 20-30 minutes and gave it 45 to be safe but still had issues and didn't even get my medicine that day. The text message service is inaccurate, it says your medicine is ready but if you go in, it isn't. Some pharmacists are very helpful and then some are extremely rude. I understand they're under pressure and working hard but it's still unacceptable. read more

This is my favorite Walgreens. For about a year, I heavily depended on this store (I think I shopped at Walgreens 101 times in 2017)? It's extremely convenient for everything. Just don't go to the pharmacy at the same time as everyone. The lines are long, but they have a great stock market (invest) and be nice to the employees. We have been going to Walgreens for years. I have never had any issues and thought the employees were always helpful and pleasant. The pharmacy staff was awful today. They gave the wrong amount of the medication and blamed the doctor for not writing it correctly. That might be the case or not, but the pharmacist was rude and disrespectful. You have access to medication prescribed. If you are questioning anything or assume we had an amount already on the prescription but do not see it as a current medication, why would you not call the doctor and ask. The pharmacist may be an introvert and usually only deals with verifying the medication that has been ordered and not the general public but you still need to have a conversation. If someone is not understanding why this keeps happening, the pharmacy is in a better position to correct the situation, not blame and run. read more

The main reason why I'm giving this Walgreens a 2 star review is cause the pharmacist that was there when I came in to pick up a NEW prescription did not go over the medication with me, like they are suppose to whenever you're prescribed a new medication. I felt bad that the pharm tech that was helping me was an intern. I actually had several questions and the pharmacist still did not speak to me; even though she was within sight of where i was standing; it was rather irritated and saw it as very rude especially since i was about to see her. I was just constantly told if anything happens to call my doctor... -__- Mind you; I'm asking these questions since it's the pharmacist, my own doctor told me to verify a few things with them when picking up the medication especially since this with be used for overseas travel. This Walgreen's pharmacy is absolutely terrible! I get automated calls that my prescription is ready. When I go to pick it up it's not ready. I called them twice in this last week to explain I was stranded out of state because of the storms. A man named Horizon said he would make sure that my prescription was still available for 10 more days. I went in to pick it up on day 3 and it was not ready. After waiting 35 minutes in the drive-through the drive up technician told me I'd either have to come back or go into the pharmacy to get my prescription. I went into the pharmacy and waited there only to be told it would be another 15 to 20 minutes before it was ready because Horizon did not write the information on my prescription. I left and drove straight home. Before I could even get in my driveway I had a call from Walgreens that my prescription was ready. That was less than five minutes. Absolutely horrible organization! I am definitely having my prescriptions transferred to a different pharmacy! read more

I've been a Walgreens customer for years. I love Walgreens. One big problem, the company they use to process their Prescriptions SUCKs. They are the worst. I call my prescription in, give the automated person my prescription number, it says "please hold for the next attendant", 14 minutes and 56 seconds later someone answers to say "what can I help you with?" Now when the person finally answered, how am I to know what went wrong with my prescription? They are the ones that flagged the order?? I've called other orders in, the attendant says they need to contact my doctor. a week goes by, no prescription. I call it in again, attendant says, "after three days with no reply from the doctor the order is dropped". Ya, great service! Walgreens needs to look at the direction they are going. Although a couple of their pharmacist, such as Joanne are superb, many of the employees are abrasive & rude, and just don't give a damn. Case in point. On 7/16/2019 I came to their pharmacy counter to see if I made it on their waiting list for the Shingles booster shot. They said yes, would you like to have it now. I said no, because last time I had a bad reaction. So I want to come in this Friday after work, on 7/19)2019. I said I want an appointment, so what time should I come in, as I'll be driving in from out of town just for this, and don't want any bad surprises. The pharmacy tech said to just come in any time, as they are a 24/7 store. I asked if they were sure about that. They said positively! So I made a special drive to Lodi just for that. When I got there, I was kept waiting for an hour and a half in pharmacy. Then the pharmacist claimed that she'd been working too hard, so she couldn't be bothered to give any more before she went home! And the night shift couldn't be bothered either! So I'd have to make another special trip back there just for that on another date! I wanted to get this taken care of on that date, as I had a full schedule the following two days; wanted to get it that day, so if I had a bad reaction like last time I'd have 2 days to received before going back to work; and have it out of the way before friends and)or relatives arrive from over seas. I've tried to call their corporate. offices, but they are always closed, and they never call me back. I never even hear from their district manager! The thin lipped old brunette kept telling him she was with a customer until he finally drove away empty handed. My bf got out of the car to go inside. I called Walgreens pharmacy today to see if my prescription was ready to be picked up and the first time I called I was on hold for 10 minutes and decided to hang up and call back again later cuz I figured they were really busy. 20 minutes later I called and was on hold for 9 minutes and someone FINALLY answered and he didn't even apologize for the wait. I understand it's a Friday evening, but someone could've at least pick up the phone and ask me to hold and that they would be right with me. Walgreens is clean and a good place for deals- when they have the sale items in stock. I just want to mention to check your reciept before you leave the store. I found a charge for $12.99 for something I didn't get and there was nothing like it on the counter for the checker to mistakenly ring up so this is likely a computer error. I brought it to the manager's attention but it took a very long time to get a refund while he tried to figure out what happened by re-ringing my purchases and when that didn't work, he had to figure out how to refund my $ w/o a product to return.
