I tried to get I. Touch with this so called 24 hour pharmacy and was on hold multiple times up to 57 minutes and still no one answered. I started at 6:00 pm and waited an hour to call back up to 10 pm. There is no way this time of night on a Sunday that they couldn't answer this call. Lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE in the drive thru. Went to pick up a prescription yesterday. The lady said it will be ready today by 2:00 pm. Went today waited almost 35 minutes in the drive thru. I was the third car in line. When I arrived at the window the young lady told me it wasn't ready that they are unloading it from the truck. There was no truck around Walgreens. I talked to the pharmacist and he told me the same thing and that will be ready later and they will notify us. I live five minutes from Walgreens. Getting a prescription is the most difficult thing here. It feels like nobody is working together. I placed my prescription at 10:00 AM. I come back at 1:00 PM and they said that they'll start on my prescription that to give him 30 minutes. i never write a review but this walgreens has really disappointed me they closed for two days because of the internet then they say they havent received a document from the doctor that has been sent various times this is my doctor for 20 years not Joe Smoe. then i call and cancel so i can get in publix pharmacy they cancel and the next day they redo the prescription so now im stuck again because they have the prescription it shows filled and publix cant help me until the release the prescription. ofcourse i call walgreens and they pick up and put me on hold automatically not one word. i dont know if they are understaffed or over worked but this a life or death medicine Mounjaro for a diabetic. this is not some pain killler. I was prescribed a steroid pill to treat a rash. When I went to pick it up, there were over 10 people in line. So I figured I come back later. That evening I returned and was told my insurance was not valid. I asked how much it would be without insurance and was told $11. Ok, no problem. Well except they didn't fill it and it would take an hour for them to get it ready. I told them I would pick it up the following day. Over the next two days I made three attempts to pick up my medicine. Each time I went there the line was over 10 to 15 people long. I value my time, but it is apparent that Walgreens does NOT. There is no excuse for constantly having such long wait times. It's a simple concept. HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES! There are multiple checkout areas. USE THEM! So disappointed in service I received after being told it was going to be a 3 hr. Wait for prescription and being assured by pharmacist that they would call when they were done. What a surprise I wasn't called. So I called in and was told they were ready drive 35 min since they were the only 24 hr pharmacy open at the time wait in drive through which took 20 min. Went ahead and went in side to see the pharmacist waking out. "Shift change" and go to the counter to see the new pharmacist on duty and he tells me oh your prescription isn't ready and will be another 15 min. So now it's been 4 hrs to fill a script that I was told originally that it was done. This customer service is just unacceptable. I was a pharmacy Tech for CVS for over 6 years and even on our busiest days we never did this. What a joke. read more

Female "pharmacist" Rachel was very rude and has zero people skills and customer service. After 50 minutes of waiting in line for a COVID test she told me that she couldn't find my appointment even when I showed her the confirmation and that I had to circle back and do the line again because prescriptions are more important that tests, even though there are 2 lanes where people can get their prescriptions and only one for tests. Then she basically called me a liar saying that I must have made the appointment after they printed out the appointments at 7a, which is false because I made the appointment the day before. read more

I had to have prescriptions filled after having some rather serious dental work done. Although the staff was helpful and the medication was ready an hour before the expected time, this was less than a professional experience. Seemed 1 young woman was training while another more knowledge was running ragged. 3 ppl in line ahead of me that either weren't eligible for refills, didn't have the coverage for the requested medication, or needed further doctor approval, took over 30 minutes to drop of my prescription. The drive thru was backed up as well and those ppl were getting equally frustrated. I bought two cherry pies and it came out to $3.40, but the tag said 2 for $2.50. The cashier goes and checks the price and brings back the tag and says sorry we put the wrong price up. And that was it. I'm sorry ma'am, but am I the employee who put the wrong price up? I thought that was so rude. And I know it's only $1, but that's not the point. Horrible service. They are so slow. 2 1/2 hours after my doctor calls in a Rx, they still have not started on it. My doctor called it in, right? Well when they get to mine, they tell me they cannot fill the Rx because they do not stock Name Brands, and the doctor has to approve generic brands? WHAT? They have to order Name Brands and they said it takes days to get in. I am sick now!! First off, why didn't you tell the Doctor when he called it in? My wife & I have been getting prescriptions here for almost 3 years and there is always a problem. Last week my wife went in with her script and her new insurance card and dropped it off. She was told to come back in an hour. When she came back she was told Walgreens did not honor CIGNA insurance. Did the stupid clerk not know they did not take this insurance? Then as few days ago I picked up a script that was not covered by our insurance but I was given a discount and also asked for my needles that were ordered when the script was dropped off. "Oh sorry sir I will get them." This uneducated, immigrant that barley spoke English put the syringes in the bag with the script and I paid. Upon getting home I realize they gave me the wrong size syringes. Today I stopped by to exchange the syringes for the correct ones and brought one of my old ones with me so they knew which one I needed, even though I had bought them here before and they had my records in their computer. The clerk looked me up in the computer and told me even the old syringes that I brought to show her were not the right one according to my script. So for almost 2 years I have been using the wrong syringe. I was then told that they would not take back the wrong ones I had just bought a couple of days earlier, but would be given 1/2 price on the correct ones. At this point I became upset and told the clerk I had to pay for their mistake and would not and wanted to speak with a manager. The manager Joval who has waited on me in the past came over and told me the same thing I would have to pay 1/2 price for the correct syringes. I then told her this was "Bullshit" as it was their mistake. She then told me not to curse at her and said you have to leave. So after spending thousands of dollars between my wife & I at this Walgreens as well as many thousands of dollars over the years at other Walgreens this is how I am treated. I am sending a copy of this review to Walgreens corporate offices and will follow this review if they do the right thing. read more

This is the absolute WORST pharmacy I've ever had the displeasure of having to do business with. If it were not for the fact that I am required to do business with them by my insurance company I wouldn't step foot in their building. I wouldn't even use their parking lot to turn around in. If you are dropping a prescription off you will be there, without ANY exaggeration, at a half hour minimum, and that's if they are not busy. I have left their building as well as their drive up because I simply don't have the time to waste. They are completely understaffed, some of the staff that they do have seem to always be training, it appears as they have a high turn over rate with their counter staff. The worst part is they don't care, and if you express your displeasure with the ridiculous wait times, they don't like it, they get real nasty looks on their face. I will be glad when their contract is up with my insurance company, hopefully we'll get to go back to CVS. I would give them ZERO stars if I could. read more

The Walgreens pharmacy in Lehigh is so frustrating. I've been going to that location for about 2 and 1/2 years. Lately I have such a problem refilling prescriptions. The clerks and pharmacist are never on the same page with the time frame in which I will get my meds. I am always told different things depending on who I speak with. A male pharmacist was arrogant and rude during my visit. He refused to fill my prescription even though it was written in accordance with Florida laws for dispensing medications. He told me he would fill the prescription if I returned the medication filled the previous week (even though it was the same medication but my physician had changed the dose and frequency). I refused as this is fraudulent Walgreens had already billed the medication to my health plan and I had already paid my co-insurance. They had been totally paid for my previous prescription and now demanded I return it. It was not packaged in unit dose it was just loose pills in a bottle. Walgreens would never have issued credit to me or my health plan (United Health Care) for the returned medication as they could not resell it. I notified my health plan of their fraudulent attempt to have me return my prescription that was fully paid for and therefore owned by me. read more

On Christmas Day my daughter gets an infection and there isn't a pharmacy open locally in Naples. This Walgreens 26 miles away was not only open, but processed our prescription within the standard 20 minutes with nothing but a smile on their faces!
