The pharmacist here is horrible. Beyond rude and disrespectful. Consistently "forgets" to fill scripts that have a timely insurance window... even when you call ahead. Literally yelled at me for asking a simple question about my medication because it was "holding up his drive thru". Why should I trust somebody who is unqualified to answer safety questions to dole out medication? He should be removed. Nasty on the phone, nasty in person. The rest of the staff is lovely. I feel so bad for them!!! read more

Most (not all) who work in the pharmacy are some of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with. These are people who are working with people in their community that are in need of medications for their well-being and health, yet their work ethic is almost nonexistent. One of the women in the pharmacy hung up after she was trying to incorrectly charge me for my medication. I had to go in to get the issue resolved after three days of dealing with it because their manager had already gave me the correct price yet this woman on the phone said what I was saying was incorrect. It wasn't until I was there in person that they realized she in fact was the one in the wrong, after yelling and hanging up the phone. read more

This is the local Walgreens in the area. The people are all great and helpful when you can get to them. They are busy at this store and corporate needs to understand that and have this store better staffed or they will loose to Walmart or CvS down the street. Worst pharmacy ever! I live in Springfield Missouri, down here as a Snowbird and they wanted to charge me $50 for a prescription that I normally pay $30 for. I try to get information from the hateful lady that answered the phone who kept calling my name over and over telling me it is not her problem and that I need to contact the insurance. I asked her why she could charge me more and she tried to tell me she's not charging me anything the insurance is. Then proceeded to tell me because I'm in a different state I'm going to have to pay more money for this prescription which is a controlled medication. She also then told me that she will not accept the manufacture coupon because insurance is paying some but then tells me insurance wouldn't cover it. She obviously doesn't know her job!It's a sleep medication because I suffer from insomnia. Therefore, I'm not getting my prescription filled and I'm going to have to wait until I go back to Springfield next year in order to get the proper medication at the right price. Why do people have to be so rude, it's your job to explain this to customers and if you don't like it find another job! read more

My mother went in to the store to have a prescription filled in the pharmacy. The pharmacy manager is by far the rudest, most unprofessional person I think I have ever met. As a healthcare provider myself, we are taught to always put the patient first and the patients needs are most important. I don't know where this man went to school, but apparently they didn't teach that in his class because he was extremely rude and could care less what my mother needed. He told her he would not fill her prescription because she wasn't "his patient" and proceeded to raise his voice and talk in a very demeaning manor to my mother. She has been having a lot of back problems and is scheduled for back surgery in two weeks and all she was trying to do was get her pain medication filled. But this man treated her as if she is some kind of drug addict just trying to get a fix, and completely disregarded her as a human being let alone a patient. I have never seen a healthcare provider act so unprofessional ever, and as a healthcare provider, I am very disappointed in the service my mother received today. She has gone to multiple different pharmacies, and this is the only one that has the medication she needs, but because of this man and his disrespect, she nor I will ever go back to this pharmacy again. Complaints have been made to store management but I am sure nothing will be done. Very disappointed read more
