Recently visited this Walgreens and I would definitely say it's a nicer store compared to other ones I've been at. Pharmacy and front store are definitely short staffed but it's much more organized. Lines are somewhat long and they would benefit with having a regular immunizer. read more

I write this while I have now waited at the register for photo and tech for going on ten minutes. No acknowledgment. I preordered photos online which was easy, but this is terrible pick up. There is a line for the main register with no employee in sight. People simply could walk out with merchandise and no one would even know. Horrible service and organization. read more

I'm not sure why this store has low ratings. Most are more than a year old. I found it a good place. The only thing to make it better is to have one more associate. It appears there's only one person who works both the pharmacy register as well as the main checkout. read more

This is the worst possible place to go to get a prescription filled. My insurance is on file, yet every time I had something filled it, the cost was pending insurance. If it isn't pending insurance, it is pending verification or out of stock. If you need a script filled within a WEEK, go somewhere else. I would like to delete my profile altogether. read more

This store has gone downhill. It's awful. The only reason I haven't changed pharmacies is because I live close to this location. I've been using this Walgreens since it first opened and have always gotten our prescriptions in a timely manner with great service. Now, prescriptions are never ready on time, forget about getting them same day or even the next day. There's always an issue it seems and the majority of the people working there now have no customer service. Super high turnover as well. There are constantly new people working there that are being trained so they don't know what they are doing. The main part of the store isn't much better than the pharmacy. There used to be a super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable woman that worked in the store for years named Margerate. She could find anything you were looking for in a heartbeat and with a smile on her face. Many of my friends all have the same complaints about this location. read more

This place is so dysfunctional it is laughable. There is usually nobody at the registers, they walk aimlessly around the story, not even doing busy tasks. Yesterday, I had to find one of them and ask them to check me out after waiting in line for 5 minutes. Beyond that, the pharmacy staff is definitely dipping into their own products. It would take me too long to describe the three day, four trip ordeal I went through trying to get a prescription refilled that I had done (there) several times before. Finally gave up and and called the doctor's office to get the prescription moved to a CVS an extra 10 minutes away. read more

Happy with the customer service. Sometimes the pharmacy gets busy and takes awhile to refill prescriptions. Occasionally the pharmacy is a bit rude when talking with me about insurance questions but I can imagine that is a nightmare to deal with. But overall over the years they have been great! read more

In a town known for its transient population and generally rude attitude, this Walgreens is a pocket of of old fashioned charm. Margaret in particular is always friendly and bubbly. She has learned my kids names and always asks them about their day. I'm so glad they have a chance to experience an authentic neighborhood vibe. read more

I had a bad experience in the Fort Evans location, so I called over to this photo center on Christmas Eve to see if I could get some prints. The young man running this photo center (he appeared to be of Indian or Middle Eastern background) was just outstanding. He provided fast, excellent service and when I say he was utterly SWAMPED - that's an understatement. I also talked to an associate named Margaret who was extremely helpful and friendly, which was great. I won't ever go back to Fort Evans if I can help it! read more

Some of the employees there are terrible and margret flirts with my husband and she's always telling customers about her private life and I don't care to hear her private things. She also asked my husband when I wasn't there personal questions about whos his wife (me). Although I always have to ask for help for the photo area, my experience was just fine. I went in to get passport photos taken for a career exam a few weeks ago. The whole process from start to finish (including waiting for assistance) took less than 10 minutes of my busy day. Thank you! read more

Chronic pain patients beware: this location harbors a pharmacist who will work to deny you your painkillers. COMPASSIONATE CARE ALERT Jennifer B at the Walgreens (424 Sycolin Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175) (STORE #10690) has on two separate occasions refused to fill my brother's script for Tussionex cough syrup, claiming the quantity excessive ven though she is aware that it is a month's supply and that my brother has had this script filled by one of 4 other local Walgreens each month for the past 4 years. She demanded to speak with the prescribing neurologist first to verify the script, which I did not allow her to do bc I know she would have tried to persuade the doctor to reduce the quantity. Just the phone call itself would have been a major burden for a busy doctor, which would have had the effect of discouraging him from writing similar scripts in the future. Pain patients are customers too. And they have the power to take their business elsewhere. From the looks of things, this pharmacy does not do much business. I have not seen another customer at the pharmacy on the two occasions I was there. I wonder if Jennifer B has anything to do with it. Jennifer B is not a doctor. She does not know my brother's medical history nor the medical conditions that warrant this prescription. read more

On 10/5 I placed an online, same day photo order. Later that day I received a call from the photo dept stating they hadn't received their ink to make the birthday banner I had ordered and they would keep me posted. On Sunday 10/10, 5 days later I received notification that the banner was ready. When I picked it up and opened it, the banner was done on paper not the Satin I had ordered. It had no birthday message or decor, which I had ordered as well. It had a giant picture and a name, which is not what I had ordered! When I called about it, they failed to take any responsibility, they were rude and disrespectful. The woman didn't even know how to give me my money back! I informed her I would be filing a formal complaint and she didn't care one bit. I called the complaint line this morning and after being on hold for 45 minutes I hung up! I am done with Walgreens. I will never go back. I will move all of my family prescriptions from there and take my business to someone who cares about their customer's happiness. Margaret is the best part of Walgreens and they don't treat her well either! read more

Once again the worst customer service imaginable. I don't know why I bother calling in prescriptions because they never have them ready anyways. When speaking to the manager the blame is put back on me. Ridiculous that I have to drive to a different Walgreens to get my prescription, that I called twice about, just to get it on time. read more

I am new to this pharmacy but after three visits they are the most helpful and friendly staff I have encountered at any local pharmacy. Every order has been filled quicker than anticipated and without error. You also GE a genuine welcome as you enter the front doors. It's clean, well-lit and seems to be fully stocked at all times. I frequent this Walgreens for several reasons. First, I love the pharmacy and will not go anywhere else for prescriptions. The phatmacist and techs have always been kind, prompt and efficient. Store clean and well put together as usual. But Erin the one working behind the counter was so incredibly rude and short. She mumbled if I had a reward card to which I said no, not fully understanding her question. After telling her I thought I might have a rewards card and asking if I could punch in a phone number she let out a long sigh and stared at me for about 30 seconds before asking me if I new anybody with a phone number. I told her yes and began to speak my phone number out loud she cut me off telling me shortly to follow the directions on screen (there were none) when I informed her she didn't say a word but pressed a button on screen. I got my phone number with the rewards card and the discount and left with my products as I was getting in my car the customer behind me in line asks me "she was mrs personality wasn't she" obviously she treated him the same way. This store is a little gem. Every time I go in, I find I have to compliment the person at the front desk because they're always so pleasant and friendly. I dropped off two prescriptions the day before Snowstorm Jonas was supposed to arrive. The technician checked to be sure the medications were in stock and told me to come back in an hour to pick them up. Later, I received a phone message that my prescriptions would not be ready and would be contacted when they are. Close to 8:00 that evening I called the pharmacy and was told that my daughter's medicine was not in stock and they would not have it until Monday (4 days later). I explained that she was leaving the following day and needed the medicine (I received a huffy breath from the tech) I then asked her to find out where it could be filled by the next morning. She gave me another huffy breath. When my husband arrived to pick up my order and get the prescription it wasn't ready and he had to wait another 30 minutes. read more

Wow! Convenient, Clean, and Helpful Staff! We waited for years for a drug store close to home and this has been a godsend. Need bread or milk? They have it and fresh! Rude management. I had an unpleasant experience simply trying to buy cold medicine. The store manager was trying to refuse to sell me a simple knockoff of DayQuil, because I was "under 40". When I asked for clarification this woman turned the cashier's screen toward me and said "see, the screen says you need to be over 40". As a young looking 23 year old, I realized this woman meant she needed my. I.D., but never articulated this; nor did she ever correct herself. As I made it known I just wanted to grab my cold remedy, soup, and Gatorade, as I was sick, this woman continued her unwarranted condescension, saying "you don't even look sick" and so on, which made for a HORRIBLE "trip out of bed" just to get medicine. Had EXCEPTIONAL customer service from Margaret. However the manager Brett was EXTREMELY rude! ( And frankly ruined my experience. He had the audacity to actually tell Margaret infront of me, while she was trying to give me a personal experience, "keep the talking to a minimum, were closed, we need to get out of here". It was probably a minute past 10 and I was the last one. As a person in the hospitality industry, I see this as not only disrespectful towards me, but to Margaret as well. She was just trying to connect the dots and give me a great experience. (Which I've had every tim with her specifically) I am a very frequent customer (3-4x a week) and I am completely baffled at the disrespect I experienced. It's not the first time withBrett as well. On multiple occasions he had not even acknowledged my precense, even being directly beside him. Out of 4x, he has greeted me ONCE. ONCE!!! Other times ive personally experienced him being a extremely rude and disrespectful towards his employees. Cutting them off in the middle of a guest experience and telling them to hurry up while the associates are just trying to effectively do their job and help customers to their full extent, alot of which had ended with a purchase from myself. As a loyal customer I would like to see this changed completely as I believe management effects how associates feel about doing their job and if I feel uncomfortable with him and his disrespectful attitude, I can only imagine how the associates feel...... Things need to change. And I will continue to review until it is!!!! read more
